Pros

It has been a positive experience for the company. I love that they are always trying to improve things as well.
However, the more I learn to use it, and with the help of awesome customer support, the more I believe this POS system could be a very good fit to many type of business out there.
Great value for the money, the support team is great and easy to work with. The overall layout of the software can be customized to benefit different business.

Pros

User friendly design that is easy to learn and navigate, great for invoicing people as well as paying invoices, good organization of invoices and payments.
Quickbooks is the bread and butter of my business, it is the best accounting program I have used. I love that it continues to improve and allow more integration with apps and documentation programs.
The help on the team when getting this product was great, the features are honestly really great, I use it for payroll as well and it is really worth the cost.

Cons

The call back time from customer service is not ideal for in the moment problems.
Discount option for one item is very limited. The user profile for a discount, price change, inventory movement cannot be placed in range, is either can or cannot.
It's not unusable by any means, but it does feel as though the UI was designed by developers, not designers. Can be confusing and unintuitive at times.

Cons

Submitting hours for the wrong week unintentionally can be frustrating because there is no way to reverse it without supervisor permissions.
The customer service is terrible. I usually get forwarded from person to person because I'm in the "wrong department," but I know it's because the person just doesn't know the answer.
No recourse through customer service. Data is held hostage as leverage for stopping cancellation of unauthorized charges, ie: sure you can cancel but we're not sure what will happen to your data.

Cons

Only limited merchants are available, some reports are ok, not able to upload good with fintech data

We transitioned multiple software solutions looking to find something that would fully integrate while also helping us dig deeper into our sales data and manage our inventory more closely. Korona has provided solutions for all of those things and made it so much easier to manage our business uniformly across all three tasting room locations as well as managing our Wine Club and online store. Of all the software solutions we transitioned to this year, Korona greatly exceeded the customer service of all others. While other solutions were hard to get in contact with (especially with a real person), Korona was always easy to reach, extremely personable, knowledgeable, and quick to help.

Pros

The reporting you are able to do in Korona is amazing. It helps us make decisions about store hours, staffing, products to re-order, etc. much easier. We liked being able to customize the buttons in a way that made the most sense for our business and staff. It is much easier to train new staff members on Korona compared to our previous POS software, which is great! Our favorite part of the software would be the Support and even Sales team though, they made the transition so easy and continue to promptly assist us with any issue or concern that arises. They work with us to ensure we are happy with the way things are operating and are just AMAZING overall!

Cons

We have struggled with getting the Quickbooks integration to work correctly for us. We also purchased a tablet from them that is extremely slow and frustrating to use the software on.

The ability to connect estimates, invoices and POs from one originating document

It glitches out a lot and has some bugs I have learned to work around that are sort of annoying

Pros

It integrates with our POP programming for both our on-site kayak rentals business and for our retail store. We run two different programs for each business and Quickbooks makes keeping track of everything fast and simple.

Cons

There are a lot of facets to the program. Takes a lot of trial and error to get correctly. Would like to see more smartphone integration.

The product works well for my company, but the customer support was not satisfactory.

Pros

I like to the online access for multiple users, format of the product, user friendly for the most part.

Cons

I have had issues with this product interfacing with my POS system, glitches in the system I was not informed about that affected my interface with POS data for 2 weeks. Poor customer service regarding that issue.

I would say the thing I like least about the software is the cost for it every year. You buy it one year and then the very next year they are suggesting you buy the new version.

Pros

I use for invoicing, and expenses. Integrating with my POS system was a pain

Pros

The software certainly is elaborate. It has alot of features, and does alot of things well.

Cons

Probably cause it is so elaborate, sometimes I wish it less complex for my simple business. Especially when reconciling the accts

Overall a good program.

Pros

We also use the POS software from Quickbooks, so it's nice that the two work nicely together.

Cons

Sometimes there are connectivity issues with the POS software which I have to contact our IT support in order to fix.

Cons

Using for inventory can be tricky and if used for retail, you should invest in a POS system.

Streamlines everything after initial setup

Had a business want me to implement this. Had some experience, but the learning curve wasnt too bad. Once i had ported everything it made everything suprisingly easy. Definitely worth the money. As for a small business, there were a lot of unnecessary features but the interface made it pretty easy to ignore them.

Pros

Ability to sync with different services.

Cons

The POS system was a small pain to set up but that may have been specific to my experience.

I use Quickbooks with their point-of-sale system. We have to submit our daily sales and it's easy to do so with their integrator.

Cons

Beyond what we have to do on the POS system, I don't use the accounting side of QB much.

Quickbooks POS is an okay POS if you don't need anything like class management, repair management, rental management, etc. Pretty much it's great if you don't do much at your shop. There are better systems out there more suited to specialty retail shops.

Accurately keeps your books in order. Cross references well. It really is the best out there in our experience. With that said, read the cons for the "buts"

Cons

We use this as POS as well as accounting. There are lots of drawbacks here. It can be clumsey and hard to work with. The POS sales reporting side is limited and when you ask for custom reports many cannot be accomplished. Great for accounting, not so much for sales

Quickbooks integration with the Shopkeep POS software was virtually seamless and provided me with accurate reports of my sales.

Cons

Unfortunately it is not a free software. It also has a modest learning curve that although easy to overcome, was a big sticking point in the beginning.

Quickbooks POS - Not Best For Retail

We feel stuck with Quickbooks POS at this point, we wish we had a different system that was newer and had more advanced features, but the cost to switch systems is too great.

Pros

We have used Quickbooks POS for 10+ years, the system is reliable and maintains our inventory and customer database.

Cons

Intuit forces you to buy licenses at a very high cost. Everytime there is an update you end up losing good features, the last three updates have made the program worse instead of better

Overall I really find Quickbooks to be a valuable tool for our business. Except for a few bugs I recommend this software frequently.
