If you are not a savvy database programer or don't have a staff member that is, then you will likely find this CRM to be very difficult to use and customize to your practice. The cost keeps increasing and once you have been using the system, the company knows they have you on the hook and will keep the price increases rolling your way. Using this is like being caught between a rock and a hard place.Online access from anywhere. Dashboard provides a good overview of your business. Wealth edition has some customization to the financial industry.

I am new to any CRM software. I have found Maximizer to be powerful and intuitive to use. l love the many functions readily available, without having to purchase each function as many of the other CRM's that I've researched. The staff and training are excellent with video tutorials to supplement and refresh training.Intuitive and easy to navigate. User defined fields are easy to set up. Training is excellent, professional and readily available via scheduled webinar or via video. Excellent value for the cost. Powerful - will do all that I need for marketing and sales, plus more.

Our company has used Maximizer since 1998. We use it to track Trade Show Leads / Opportunities / Sales. Maximizer ease of use makes training minimal. We use the 2016R2 Web Portal and the phone application. At this point, we have 60 users from various locations. The catalog lists make reporting simple. In a matter of seconds, you can run a report and have it exported to excel. Ease of use / Minimal Training

Frustrating...until we get things figured out. Tech support has been there...but don't assist with the finer points.Huge learning curve and there is plenty of untapped value in the software. Need to unleash the beast...so to speak...

Pros Excellent Dashboard wizard, easy to interpret statistics and very easy to make graphs/charts/visual aids for the data you want to present Simple User interface Customiseable to your business needs Pricing is responsible once you figure out your needs Cons we had some difficulty implementing on our network so I would suggest hiring a consultant to install or go with their hosted package which totally eliminates any software install on your network.

Having used Maximizer for over 25 years I am always disappointed that with each new version it gets worse. Now they are trying to coral their customers into the cloud. What once was an iconic product is now unstable that will make you regret your purchase and be on the look for a replacement. Please go back to Version 3. It was the best!I can't find another product that comes close to the feature set.

OUTSTANDING!!! I used Maximizer years ago and wouldn't go back because of the long telephone hold times, and expensive customer service billing process. They have gone above and beyond in providing OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE that is QUICK and EASY TO ACCESS. I like the fact that it is FULLY OUTLOOK INTEGRATED! ...And integrated to MAIL CHIMP! They have taken the time to solve problems and SERVE THEIR CUSTOMERS though it's multi-functional additions.

It really is a solid CRM, and did well keeping the entire company apprised of the situation. It handles B2B and B2C with ease, and made it very easy to keep tabs on our clients. If it integrated with other critical apps, automated marketing tasks, and had a stronger customer service tool, we'd still be using it today.I really liked the User definable setup, and the hierarchy between contacts and companies. I also liked how every user defined value got it's own view in SQL, so it was very easy to extract data into other systems using the database. It's very familiar to office users, and performed really well, even with 90,000 contacts/companies in it. It's a solid CRM, as long as that's all you need.

I use Maximizer as a contact manager with category tracking of contacts. I don’t use sales leads or opportunities as I find their use to be a little cumbersome for what we do and do see the value. I use it because it’s what I’ve used for years. It has features that are valuable to me, but it would be nice to know I could integrate a second or third user to share info. However, for an add on user to share my data, I would likely go to other products due to the challenges with implementation for less tech savvy users. The things I like most about Maximizer is the customizability and user defined fields. The ability to set up my crm to look and function exactly the way I want is superior to many other products. Also, then unlimited contacts for the subscription surpasses the value vs the more main stream cloud based crm that charge per contact.

Since then, Maximizer has evolved and I can now update records and email from anywhere and anytime from my laptop, tablet or cell phone. Lists can be imported and exported in Excel. Maximizer offers webinar training, customer support and a user guide. Maximizer provides templates for building email campaigns.

I first bought this software around 1996. It's been great to keep track of companies and clients. But when my computer crashed in 2011 or so, even my PC expert was not able to re-integrate the data back into Max. It's such a complicated product that I had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to a special company that only works on Maximizer. The customer support is lousy. They want to charge you event to ask simple questions. The salesman that has been trying to get me to upgrade to the cloud was not understanding me or my needs at all. On the other hand, as I have been researching other CRM's, I am finding they are similar with being expensive and complicated. I love how I can view all of my companies or have them in separate categories/databases to look at them separately.

I have been using Maximizer for many years. Above and beyond the cost effectiveness of a sales automation system, the ease of use and ability to map my organization into the system has made user acceptance very high. Maximizer gives my organization all the functionality and capability of a more complicated system without all the headaches that come with it. If you are considering a sales automation system or a lead manager, Maximizer should be on your list as a strong consideration.

I've used Maximizer for over a decade. The current version has "anti-piracy" measures that have cost me dozens of hours and several hundred dollars in tech support trying to "activate" the program again and again. I keep getting locked out of the system because of this bug. Whenever I call Maximizer for support, they send me to independent developers. They're good, but the security on the product makes it very frustrating. When it's running, I like it. It's not much different from previous versions, and I've learned to be very efficient with it. I bought the program 2+ years ago and still struggle just to open the program and load my data. I have a problems with it every few months. I'm thinking about switching from Maximizer CRM. Why? It has nothing to do with the program. It's because their security bug wont let me use the program.
