Clear leader in enterprise software

2019-02-06

Salesforce is the giant that continues to grow whilst being nimble. No other platform will allow you to develop bespoke enterprise solutions as quickly as Salesforce's platform, whilst giving your end users a pleasant user experience.

Pros

- Modern user experience, far better than any other enterprise software - Massive number of features out of the box - Incredibly customisable - Easy to integrate with other enterprise platforms - Excellent training

Cons

- Depending on your use case, it can be expensive

Especially great if you have your own development team

2019-04-03

Pros

You can be particularly flexible and nimble with Salesforce if you have your own Salesforce development resource.

Cons

There are some weird design choices, but again, if you have your own development resource, you can change that.

Cumbersome and Bloaty

2016-11-02

I find it to be bloatware on a decent scale and prefer more nimble platforms.

Pros

It's widely used by a number of companies in various verticals and if you need all of its bells and whistles, you can have your pick. It does integrate well with any number of things.

Cons

It's expensive, it's cumbersome and difficult to learn, let alone master.

Research, research, research and then check your budget, your users, and make sure you have someone you can send for boot camp training to learn how to use the thing!
