Pros

Pipedrive in general is beyond user friendly CRM with many handy features and tools. Since pipedrive is a sales-based CRM, it provides you with a pipeline view dashboard so you can focus more on sales and keep track of your leads.

Cons

I expect pipedrive to offer more detailed insights on my teams kpi.

The right amount of features reduces complexity and let's the sales team focus on the essentials. You can really hide all unnecessary features.

Cons

Great CRM for small businesses

- love the ability to customize the pipeline - ease of use in dropping deals in and moving throughout the pipeline - new integrations like Panda Docs are helpful

- we started to outgrow the tool quickly - reporting could use some improvement in terms of win/loss, performance and sales member-specific insights

- easy to use - great sales process insight - like that you can email from the tool

Pros

The UI and UX are my favorite part, everything looks appealing and is very easy to use, would recommend it to anyone looking for a CRM to at least try it.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of, there could be more complex reporting metrics but it's not necessary, that's only me being nit-picky.

Good CRM at a fair price

Pros

Having assessed PipeDrive while looking at other CRMs, I like the ease of workflow compared to other tools like Insightly.

Cons

At the end of the day the functionality offered didn't justify the price for a small business so we went with the free version of Hubspot CRM for now.

A great Sales magement tool that has great additional features

This software enables both small and large business key insights in their business and sales process.

Pros

The interface is very clean and clear. Team management works easily, with good options for user permissions. You can generate alot of business information from this application and it is infinitely extendible by creating your own plugins or input tools.

Cons

There is a learning curve to using the software efficiently. For most custom features, you need to invest quite some time in creating or setting up your own plugins or scripts.

Best CRM: handsdown

Used Salesforce, used insightly, used Podio (not a CRM but we made it one), used a spreadsheet.

Pros

Simple, easy, intuitive, bulk edit/ upload feature is worth it alone. Gmail integration, simple interface. Seriously gold!

Cons

None really, would love a way to dial/ record or notate a phone call directly from a potential client, but overall is great!

Do it. I would set up a "fake" or "test" organisation first using totally different sign ins etc, clean your data before importing, then play around with it. Then once comfortable set-up the "real" company and deals etc

I can contact my client when it is required even when I have hundreds of leads

Pros

Quick views giving good insights on what is in te pipeline Sales projections and progress of the deals are easily seen

Cons

Reporting is not so good for holding sales meeting. But the hardest part is to have the sales persons getting used to it. Especially older ones. They have to see the benefit for them and not only their boss. Ofcpirse this could be said of any CRM. I have experienced they I knew more about the system than the support. Batch editing requires sometime and export into xls and import it again . Probability per deal is not possible only per stage. Bring in an agent to have their own pipeline is not so easy to do. You need to ensure the 3rd party cannot see your own deals.

Pros

I love how you can create a simple pipeline so that sales teams can have clear insights into their pipelines, but also gives the management teams more information into what is happening.

Cons

Pros

This is by far the easiest Sales CRM out there. Intuitive, visual, integration ready ... and I do mean ready, and above all clearest way to see how your leads are perculating ;)

Cons

Although reporting has gotten very good and provides many ways in retrieving data .. visualization is not there yet in terms of graphs. It's getting there but not there yet.

Pros

1. Easy to enter and edit sales data - Contact and opportunity data are easy to enter for people in sales, easy to edit them like in Excel sheet, easy to drag and drop opportunities between stages in the pipeline, no IT designed complex uneditable tables + large formulars UI as in 1st wave CRMs. 2. Easy to see "What shall I do?" - You see actions per deal while reviewing pipeline and you see actions for current/next day/week while planning the work. 3. Integration with Google Apps - Contacts and callendar are synchronized reliably.

Cons

Integration with e-mail could be better e.g. Insightly has direct gadget visible in Gmail enabling to relate incoming mail to opportunity, contact, organization.

If you need "just" usable pipepeline management, have no doubts. If support for marketing, customer service, social networks management is required too, look for integrations (and choose best of breed for each area) or look for some complete CRM solutions.

Pros

This CRM is down to earth, it allows you to easily follow your own customized sales process and maintain a good insights in regards to objectives, targets, deals getting old, etc.

Cons

There is no hierarchy levels and this makes it difficult to use when you have several sales managers and each sales manager has sales people under them. The current setup does not allow to create groups or similar. Huge need in the sales field.

Pros

As much as it helps sales with tracking their progress, it gives a lot of valuable insights to managing board, managers and marketers or content writers.

Cons

I can't really see too many drawbacks - maybe I would work on design, but on the other hand it is fairly simple now which is good and doesn't make you too overwhelmed with all of the features.

We had been using insightly CRM prior to testing out Pipedrive.

Pros

The prospect pipeline. It is extremely easy to create opportunities and advance them along the various stages of the sales cycle. Visually the look and feel of the platform is exceptional. Typically in my experience the majority of CRM tools feel clunky and seem to be targeting too broad of a market with the bundles of unnecessary features

Cons

I feel that the email integration function for sending outbound prospect emails should be included in the silver package. That feature is valuable to sales organizations but IMHO, it is not a feature that justifies the increase in price between Silver and Gold. I also feel that a calendar integration with gmail would be a nice addition.

Recommendations to others considering Pipedrive

Keep up the great work. In my experience with managing sales organizations, one of the biggest struggles has always been that my SDR's were either too busy, lazy or disinterested to actually fill out all form fields correctly. Entering leads into Pipedrive is a far greater experience, the process is simple, aesthetically pleasing and provides immediate gratification to the user when they see their revenue numbers jump. From the Admin perspective its very easy to measure most of the user activity.

Pros

In the past 4-years I've worked with Sales Force, Nutshell, InfusionSoft and Insightly, and none of these are as straight forward as pipedrive.

Cons

The workflow and pipeline view are great for project management/construction type businesses. For other ongoing-type sales organizations, it may not be as good of a fit. You have to look at your own Sales Process to determine this.

Pros - clear, easy to use, intuitive, good on both computer and iPhone Cons - takes some time to tailor it to your industry, but having tried several others (Apptivo, Zoho, Insightly, Highrise, Base) Pipedrive is still the best I'm having to "teach" it to our main sales guy, who basically knows nothing about computers, and he's catching on quite well.

There is absolutely no complication involved in whatever task you want to accomplish on PipeDrive, the tasks can be easily created and you can get an insight into your pipeline with one glance.

Cons

Pros

Before choosing Pipedrive, I evaluated 11 different applications, including CXM, eSalesTrack, Insightly, NetSuite, Nutshell, PipelineDeals, Pipeliner, ProsperWorks, ReallySimpleSystems, Salesforce, and Zoho.

Email integration Mobile app Customization

Cons

Email integration - I would love to be able to assign an email to multiple deals. Email flagging - I would love to be able to flag an email as important, like stars in Gmail, or have the ability to convert it to an activity. Email on the mobile app - doesn't exist, which forces me to use my Gmail

I love what you guys have. I use it constantly. If the email could be more then that would be great. And I'm thinking of Gmail, but being able to add Labels, Stars, folders, etc.. Right now I just have Archive. EMAIL FOR MOBILE - half the time I'm on my phone and then I have to use Gmail. Then I have cleanup later when I get back to my house or hotel.

Almost Perfect - But not quite!

After using many CRM systems from Salesforce, Zoho, Apptivo, Pipeline Deals, Pipedrive, Base CRM and more, Insightly is a 'breath of fresh air' (even though that is getting a bit stale lately - more on that shorty).

Pros

Here are just a few pros: * Easy to use and learn * Integrated Light Weight Project Management * Fast Response * Great note taking * Easy task tracking * Great for sales cycles and customer service alike * Useful Integrations * Better User Interface than most (every tried Salesforce and couldn't find anything?)

Cons

A couple of Cons: * Service - The guys and gals at Insightly need to learn to listen and pass information 'up the management chain' * Task and Event Handling need improvement as reported by many clients * Need fully functional 2-way sync with Google Calendar * Need real workflow functionality instead of clunky Project Management (to their defense, lots of systems 'miss this one')
