Pros

Helping to bring the business up to date with a system that is modern and innovative. It is user friendly and easy to add new functionalities to it according to the business needs.
As a socially responsible company, it feels good to support another company like Salesforce that is committed to these values too.
Salesforce remains the best CRM application for growing our business because of the amazing features. Integration of third-party and add-on options it offers.

Pros

Overall, Pipedrive has been an awesome tool. It helps stay focused on the most important stuff.
The quote management function is the best part of this, reminding you of outstanding quotes and previous approved deals.
Pipedrive is now the most preferred sales management tool for our portfolio companies, and it is perfect not to mention the beauty of its interface.

Cons

Terrible experience I wouldn't recommend to even our biggest competitor, Salesforce is totally unintuitive and with very bad UX. Expensive, hard to use and hard to manage.
There are times when the automation fails and gives back inaccurate data. We have to trouble shoot almost weekly to figure out what happened.
The only negative aspect I've encountered while utilizing SalesForce is that saving entered data is not done automatically and can lead to losing work.

Cons

My biggest issue was during the implementation process. We quickly found their programming to be inferior to SalesForce and decided to cut our losses to spend a little more on them.
BUT when we saw that they charged us again for a full year we asked to cancel the service and they refuse to refund us for the unused year because they already charged it.
The customer service and the overall functionality of this product is terrible.

Cons

I found it difficult to run reports. Very difficult to get the correct parameters compared to other CRMs I have used. i.e. Sugar, Pipedrive

It's good for saving my sales notes and looking at them, but there are much more straight forward options out there. I have liked other Pipedrive better.

SalesForce is known as the best CRM and has a ton of functionality and integrations.

Cons

I'm in sales. My job is to sell. I hate having to spend hours trying to update my SDFC to make sure my files can save.

The Gold Standard, But Expensive

The service is incredibly expensive, especially for a smaller company. Alternatives like Pipedrive are quickly becoming the norm in the digital marketing and digital ad sales space.

Pros

The application is intuitive. The preloaded sections are easy to understand and universally applicable.

Cons

Nearly every sales rep across marketing and advertising has used this application so there's little training required but I find most changes require getting in touch with an account lead or manager. I often felt like the simplest tweaks or changes required involving someone from Salesforce making it much less turnkey than I had hoped.

Pros

Access from anywhere with internet, it's cost effective, secure. Moreover, Pipedrive is a highly visual sales tool that helps manage deals and makes sure balls don't get dropped at any stage of the sales cycle.

Cons

Lot of apps are present but he cost is too high, Some users face difficulties in the transition between transactions. Some have to go through multiple screens to process transactions.

Why is this the standard?

We only used it for a very short time and opted for Zoho for this particular project. But Salesforce can probably do anything you need it to if you are very, very patient.

Pros

Salesforce wins on features and integrations. It's got everything you can think of. It's got all the bells and whistles if that is what you are looking for.

Cons

Price and complexity. Nothing about salesforce is easy. Compared to other tools on the market (Pipedrive, HighLevel etc.) their interface is a nightmare and so bogged down with features that's it's incredibly difficult to use.

Salesforce has basically become the "Kleenex" of CRM's. When you think CRM you don't think anything else. For features and integrations it can't be beat.

Cons

There are some calling and email tracking features that Pipedrive and Base CRM have that I like. But I feel like I could probably find an integration for Salesforce that would fix those problems for me.

I will push to use Salesforce at any company I am with the rest of my career.

Pros

Salesforce is the best CRM I have ever used. I have used several bespoke systems, as well as some entry level platforms, but SFDC is by far superior. If you have the budget, Salesforce is the way to go.

Cons

Cost and customization. If you have the cash, it is great, but it is exponentially more expensive than something like Hubspot or Pipedrive. You will also need to have a Salesforce admin, there is no plug and play.

A Double Edged Sword of Goodies and Frustration

My overall experience is good when someone else has set it up, but left to myself or my team, I'm just frustrated. It is a powerful tool and an expensive tool; but get help.

Pros

Salesforce has so much to it that you are not going to find anything it doesn't do. It's an industry leader for a reason and it can scale for large and small companies. There are different environments for different teams and segments within each organization that integrate seamlessly.

Cons

If you're not willing to pay someone to set it up and integrate with your process and your other SaaS choices then you may be in for some frustration. It's complicated. If you're looking for simplicity, look at Pipedrive

Pros

Very complete, full of integration and interactive when you connect it to different sources of data. Allows you to see amazing metrics when needed and when customised in that way.

Cons

Often used cause well known and full of integration (real advantage) it is way too complicated for small structure, way too expensive and not flexible enough. Pipedrive is way easier to use and quite enough to simply manage a sales pipeline.

Overall its a mixed experience. Yes I think Salesforce is good for reporting but ease of use and intuitiveness is lacking.

Pros

Salesforce is great at generating reports and tracking leads and accounts. I think this is the primary reason so many corporations use it.

Cons

Salesforce is difficult to use especially if switching from CRM's like Pipedrive or others. To complete a task in Salesforce it takes 3 clicks where with most competitors it can take 1 click. Salesforce is very frustrating in regards to ease of use and intuitiveness.

You have to be INVESTED in learning the system. If you think it will be a simple tool like Pipedrive, then you won't like it. But if you invest the time to learn the system and set it up right, it is powerful. Could use better design too.

Overall, I have no qualms with Salesforce. Works great, integrates with pretty much everything, and has set itself apart. Great tool!

Pros

Obviously, Salesforce is the behemoth in the industry for a reason. Its functionality is second-to-none. It does it all! If your organization needs a solid CRM, this is the one... If your organization has a specialized need or something cheaper - Hubspot / Pipedrive, (and lots of others) are good to look into.

Cons

Honestly - I wasn't a major fan of the UI. But maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm a UI snob, or maybe I have bad taste, cause they're obviously doing something right!

We are still new at this software, but CRM systems have made our relationship with customers better and also made us more money.

Pros

The software is very good. It has a lot of features! and you can customize it to your liking. The support is great, they are very fast when you need help. The Einstein feature looks great, and i cannot wait to try it.

Cons

The software was not easy for me to get started. I started 3 trials before getting started, because i gave up every time... After this, we booked a meeting with one of the Salesforce staff, and got started. We have been using Pipedrive a lot, and it was way easier to setup.

Pros

I have used SFDC for over 10 years with a lapse of 2 years when I was using Pipedrive at one of the firms I was working for. I was an admin for two different organizations as I was the one with the most experience. It is an absolute beast with so many features that I couldn't even begin to tell you all of them. The level of Customization available is both a pro and a con. After using a CRM as basic as pipedrive the one standout for SFDC for me is the reporting capabilities. For a sales director that wants usable data to drive performance and improve my business, salesforce provides that data anyway I want to slice it.

Cons

For a first time user it is daunting. The level of customization is overwhelming. You will want to take a course or watch 5 days of youtube videos to get up to speed. There are a lot of different views, tabs, features that can get confusing. Especially if you go from company to company as it can seem like a totally different product depending on how it was configured.

Very positive way to track deals, leads, contacts and overall sales productivity.

Pros

The sheer volume of useable fields is great and there is almost no limit to the amount of parsing that can be done on both sellers and customers.

Cons

I wish that the automation features that come in competitor platforms like Hubspot could be deployed in Salesforce as well. Some features are not as visual as on competitor sites like PipeDrive as well, and could be improved for more of a quick take without having to run specific reports to get the data.

Pros

Using several CRM applications in the past (OpenERP-ODOO, vTiger, ZOHO, Pipedrive), I am convinced that any company working with clients with known identities needs one. I am pleasantly surprised how easy is to learn, use and customise Salesforce. I have been using the Android application daily and that not only saves a lot of time in updating the records after clients'meetings but also helps in scheduling and preparing for the meeting.

Cons

My only objection refers to the vast set of functionalities in the app and - of course - the price. Other than that I can highly recommend the Salesforce Sales Cloud.

So many things. For the general user it's just over complicated. Constant issues with the 3rd party apps you NEED to get certain tasks done (plus the high cost for many of these apps). Pipedrive is what our sales team actually needed instead of heavy-to-manage Salesforce customizations and plugins. It worked well for our small sales team (5 - 7 reps) but I could see it working well at larger companies as well.

Pros

Love the progressive bar and the management columns for each stage of the sales process. It's easy to see the stages of each deal with minimal sorting and fuss.

Cons

Pipedrive is simple and there aren't too many bells and whistles, but this is ultimately a good thing.

It has been a great experience overall with the software. There hasn't been any hiccups to date and the software has always provided the best results!

Pros

Pipedrive Sales CRM is a cloud based sales CRM that has a visually appealing user interface packed with a lot of features. It helps us to manage and organise our leads and prospects.

Cons

The pricing per user is a bit expensive but not too much. I am totally satisfied with the functionality it offers for the price.

Amazingly, easy to setup and start using, great visual representation of deals and pipeline and daily activities and reporting.

Cons

There's nothing I dislike about Pipedrive - other people have said it's not scalable or not right for complex sales processes but I don't see how any of those things are an issue. Salesforce is way more complicated.

Came to pipedrive from salesforce as a result of the cumbersome and ridiculous amount of overbearing features of salesforce, as well as the cost to use it. Pipedrive is universally loved among my sales staff and it is easy to train new folks on to use. Best bang for the buck, hands down!

Pros

Ease of use, customizability, compatibility, price.

Cons

There are no cons other than that certain functions that are specific to our company dont always get developed into Pipedrive as quick ( we sound spoiled ).
