Practical but clunky

2019-01-10

Pros

We use Salesforce as our platform for our member accounts — prospecting, and management. It gets the job done and allows us to troubleshoot for Customer Support as well as sales funnel management.

Cons

We're using SalesforceIQ which will was announced will be discontinued.

Great product but very expensive

2017-05-18

Pros

SalesforceIQ is a great product with lots of features and can scale with your business as you can convert to other Salesforce CRM systems.

Cons

The product is very expensive, especially for a startup and they don't offer much in the way of discounts or packages for startups. The customer support was also not great at quickly responding to requests.

Best CRM For Scaling Startups

2017-01-10

If you're looking to upgrade from Google spreadsheets, but haven't hired your first experienced VP of sales, then SalesforceIQ is a perfect fit.

Pros

The email intelligence. Every email sent from someone on your team to the account will be listed for all to see. No more back and forth with your teammates catching up on the status of an account - all gathered without any manual data entry.

Cons

It can get a bit pricey when adding additional users.

Overall good solution

2018-02-06

Overall it services our purpose well (dealflow and client management)

Pros

SalesforceIQ is really easy to use if you are migrating from excel to a cloud platform.

Cons

However, there are some restrictions on user experience. You have only two available views for your database, but being able to better manipulate data would be a good feature.

Hard-to-use software jammed with features

2018-10-10

See the cons...

Pros

It has a lot of features, and by a lot, I mean a lot of them. Probably more than you can use. Not sure this is a positive thing, though...

Cons

Initially, we started out using SalesforceIQ CRM, which was well-designed, had a minimal amount of features, and fit our needs pretty well.

SalesforceIQ - Reveiw

2017-01-31

Therefore, I needed something that was inexpensive (as I am paying for it) yet can do more for me than I currently get out of spreadsheets. SalesforceIQ does that for me.

Pros

I really like the following: It pulls all interactions with a customer into one view. It integrates with Outlook pretty seamlessly. It automatically logs calls from my cell phone. I just type in a note from the call. I can log meetings really quickly. I can double click on a contact's phone number and it sends it to my phone to call with one tap. This is much more useful than it sounds. The mobile app means that when I'm out in the field I have access to all the info in the CRM. Very helpful.

Cons

For my price-point, I only get one "list" that holds all my accounts. It would be nice if there were 2; 1 for prospects and 1 for existing customers. Also, my price-point doesn't include a reporting in terms of how many meetings I held or calls I made.

As ok as any CRM

2015-10-28

SalesforceIQ has been a decent CRM, I've used it both doing Business Development myself and extracting data to do analytics on our business development.

Pros

They've been really responsive to feature requests, though the follow up that those features have actually been built hasn't be as good. The sfIQ Google Chrome extension is really helpful and allows you to use much of the functionality of sfIQ in gmail and elsewhere.

Cons

Occasionally sfIQ is really slow. It works excellently on super fast internet connections but on desktop wifi in the field it can get annoying, that's less of a problem with the native mobile apps. The automatic info it adds on companies is more often garbage than not, and it's not edible, which isn't awesome. Their more expensive plans are really expensive: those get you great support, but the product is still just as satisfactory.

Very disappointed with technical support

2016-10-06

I can't believe a global company like SalesforceIQ cannot provide global / local 24x7 support.

Pros

Easy to manage and export data. Integrates well with email.

Cons

As mentioned above, technical support may as well not exist. If you have an urgent need for support - good luck with that.

Bunch of money grabbing company - Stay Away!

2017-02-09

We are a small business and signed up for SalesforceIQ last year.

Pros

Too many free CRM products out there which have similar features. Stay away from any salesforce product.

Cons

Bad attitude Appalling Customer Service Hidden Clauses
