Office 365 gives Collaborative tools and business applications

2019-02-02

Pros

Office 365 is a cloud based office which includes a lot of helpful applications like MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Skype for Business and Outlook etc. Creating groups and sharing group calendar is the best thing I found in O365.

Cons

A Complete dependency on Internet otherwise no match with the other related apps.

A slow start but I was eventually sold

2019-11-26

After a low user start I eventually was sold on this platform. I think students doing gorup projects will find it incredibly handy. As file sharing and group access goes I would rate it in my top 3 options.

Pros

Easy to share files with co-workers. Can store a and share alot and great for group work and teams that are located remotely.

Cons

Took a while to get familiar enough where I was using it efficiently. Have had some problems with stuff getting lost.

So many possibilities!

2019-01-22

I like all the features and look forward to taking advantage after learning more. I appreciate the access to documents while traveling from different locations.

Pros

I like the ability to create and share in groups. The pinning option on email helps me keep track of my most important emails so they are easy to find. Also, being able to access documents from my phone, laptop or tablet while traveling is a game changer for projects and working on documents and sharing in real time with team mates makes office 365 a huge asset.

Cons

This is nit picky but on calendar invites, it does not tell me how many have accepted numerically. I have to count the names of people who have responded according to their status. It is a learning curve so it may take time to learn everything.

Simply the best office suite

2020-01-09

As a team manager and project manager, I do my everyday tasks with Office 365. Teams is the best teamwork software in the market. It is complete and you can do a lot of things in the same software (Chat, work on files, have meetings, organize meetings, integrate other softwares such as Trello for example). Word, PowerPoint and Excel, used by everyone in every company, are the most advanced and complete softwares in the market.

Pros

Office 365 is complete. All the softwares supplied by Office 365 helps everyday doing the hundred of tasks. Word, PowerPoint and Excel are the best softwares in the market today, against Google GSuite. Excel is a very powerful tool for tables, dynamic tables and calculation. Microsoft Teams is the daily software you will use to organize your team work : Shared files, grouped discussion, meeting and conferences, ... Office is made for very small, small, big and very big companies. It is easy to works with customers, suppliers if you have Office because most of the companies uses Office.

Cons

Sometimes two softwares can do the same task. It can be difficult to understand which software to use. For example, to work and shared files, you can do it with OneDrive and Teams. An explanation of the softwares and what they do could be interesting for users.

Useful for a college student

2019-02-19

This software is used in many universities for free to students which is s great program.

Pros

It’s easiky accessible anywhere. I found it easy to Navigate, save my work and send emails. I could connect my university email directly to my iPhone with ease. The cloud system is the best thing for my school work I can access at the library or my home with ease and share my group projects. This program has many of the same features as the regular office program like word, excel, powerpoints. The editing feature worked well for grading or correcting other students papers, it would save the originally copy and the edited copy so you can edit what you choose for east revisions.

Cons

Sometimes the software was slow. It was also hard to reset my password at times.

Office 365 - Student Review

2018-12-17

As a student, having access to all of the Microsoft programs from one place is awesome.

Pros

Office 365 is great. I am lucky enough to have a free office 356 account through my university and I could not be more grateful. I love using Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and One Note for class projects and assignments, so having the ability to use all of them and have them integrate seamlessly has been amazing. Also, having the ability to share and group edit projects in Word and Excel has been game changing. I used to have to use google docs and google sheets for group projects, but I always liked the functionality of Microsoft products so much better. Now that I can use Word and Excel for group projects our projects have been so much better.

Cons

The group editing feature through one drive is a little slow. It takes a second for other group members edits to be loaded and seen on everyone's screen. This can cause some confusion and mis-edits.
