Survey Planet is very well suited for light surveys and market or client polling and has therefore been quite useful for us to quickly gather feedback from our collaborators during or after joint public events. The training or learning time for new users has also been very minimal, with most new team members teaching themselves off a few online tutorial videos. and that has been the most useful upside to switching to Survey Planet for our light surveys.
The most outstanding thing about Survey Planet is that it is extremely easy to learn and use. The customization options offered under the free plan aren't too bad either; as compared to other free alternatives. Finally, there isn't a cap on the number of surveys that could be deployed in a given month. And that's not the case with most others
Data organization and management features are greatly underdeveloped. A lot more could be done to help users preview, manage and carry out light analysis of collected data. I was expecting a lot more in this regard on the paid version.

I have worked with Survey Planet in both my previous job and the current one. The ease of use is not comparable to any of the other survey software I have used, which was why I recommended it for the team when I joined my current job. We rely on it to gather ideas from our project partners and clients on our activities and also gather insights from sector players when working on new research ideas. The entire process of creating the surveys and receiving data can be achieved very promptly and very efficiently. It has been really wonderful to work with.
Survey Planet allows me to preview the look and feel of my questionnaire on both pc and mobile devices while designing it. This gives me the chance to revise any layout or visual elements before launching and allows me to ensure maximum user friendliness for my respondents. Another thing I like about Survey Planet are the templates. They are very extensive and mostly only require very little editing to have them ready.
What would be really great is if they could add more features for working with multimedia content like audio notes and videos into our questionnaires.

*The options needs to be out there to be sent via text messages.* Hi Joshua, we do offer notifications over text and email. You can find those options in your profile settings. Click on the 3dots in the upper right corner, then click on Account, and then add your phone number. After that go to the Survey that you want to get notifications for. Click on Settings, then notifications, and then check the notifications for text or email. Good luck with your surveys!

Survey Planet helps us to deploy in the shortest possible time -- from idea conception to feedback data extraction. Overall, survey planet has helped our team save considerable time and effort in the decision making process of whether to bin or push new project ideas.
The customizable templates are my favorite feature of Survey Planet. Once we started exploring the full array of design and custom features, we were able to make our surveys much more visually appealing, and funny enough got a lot more people participating in our quick blast surveys.
The data analysis features can be improved. Also, I feel like some focus could be directed at developing offline versions for wider use and application.

Very good. Overall, no serious complications. The affordability is why I will recommend to colleagues.
The affordability. I initially wanted to use Survey Monkey, but the pricing was absolutely ridiculous compared to Survey Planet. I appreciated that you billed me monthly, rather than one large annual fee.
Not many cons. If anything, the data that I exported (using Excel) was somewhat scattered; there was a lot going on.

We have used it weekly to evaluate various services and systems to users. The answers help to improve things and fix bugs. The user is fundamental in this evaluation and recognition stage. The Survey Planet software has been great for all of us.
Survey Planet has saved us a lot of time in preparing questions and forms with satisfaction and evaluation surveys for our users. I really like its GUI interface and the available and very creative templates to use in the forms. The tool is one of the best on the market and of all that we have tried because it is more stable and easier to use. We create simple and complex surveys to email users to respond and then analyze the results.
I don't see any kind of error or bug in Survey Planet during this 1 and a half year of use. Me and the team are very satisfied.

SurveyPlanet has been a great way to get feedback on the development and products/services being offered. Surveys are easy to do and also to send to users.
SurveyPlanet software has great template and survey creation features. It's something easy to build and send users to respond. The response analysis functionality is very good and helps to analyze users' opinions and create statistical reports. It's easy to customize and has great performance on Windows.
SurveyPlanet can add more templates with new updates. What you have is great but there could be more to help us.

Our overall experience with Survey Planet has been overwhelmingly positive. The faculty love being able to ask the students questions and poll their views and provide a confidential and anonymous way to do it.
What we liked most about Survey Builder is the ease of use. The software walks you through step-by-step from creating the name of the survey, to the questions posed to your audience, what format you want the questions in (written response or multiple choice or other) then allows you to preview the survey before submitting it. We, the management team all agreed it was so user friendly and easy to use.
There is literally nothing that the faculty and staff disliked about using Survey Planet online, so this is the easiest response I'm going to have.

The results page is beautiful and shows everything you need to know the grasps your data easily. The results come in instantly and they are automatically illustrated in charts and figure tables side by side (changing chart types is a pro feature). You can view results by questions overview, or by participants overall, or by individual participants. And you can see the OS device and browser used, and how long it took them, and when they submitted the survey. The free version limits the user. Filtering results and exporting results is a pro feature. This pretty much gives you no choice but to go pro, unless you did a low key survey and you didn’t need the complexity of owning your data.
In the preview window for the questions list, moving from question to question is not that fluid in the sense that you can see the question title but not the answer options.

It was a great replacement for other similar survey software
The freemium level is pretty robust. I was able to use to place Survey Gizmo when they no longer grandfathered the higher levels of usage after year.
Nothing so far. The freemium is quite limited, but for the most part will get the job done for basic surveys and numbers.

Largely positive when dealing with short, simple surveys. Doesn't have the same degree of functionality as surveymonkey but you get what you pay for and most of the time we could find a way around it (even if it made for quite a clunky experience for respondents).
We used this software to run some very short and basic surveys with our customers. $20 a month and cancel anytime makes it one of the cheapest options available.
The features are very basic. Skip logic and question branching are limited and you can't pipe text from previous answers into later questions.

The software is fairly intuitive overall, but twice I have used the "Contact" feature to ask for help that I couldn't find in the "Help" section -- and each time I got a very fast, thoroughly satisfying personal response that solved my problem.
No user guide. Even intuitive software needs minimal explanation and hand-holding occasionally.

I would like to be able to split results into date ranges in the executive summary, ie Here's a picture of our first responders vs those who responded to multiple email campaigns.

I contacted Survey Planet customer support and they responded in minutes, making everything very easy to understand and get started.
I like that Survey Planet makes it easy for employees to take the surveys and for the company to receive the data they provided for great feedback.
The only thing i disliked about Survey Planet is that it has limited question types, and the panel purchase option is not integrated.

So far I have not needed to ask for customers service since it is a very easy to use web-based interface. Super helpful. I have switched to all employee reviews on this platform and it cut my deployment time down to about 15 mins.
A few parts of the interface are non-intuitive.
