I think it’s more user friendly than google docs.
This software was easy to use and simple for beginners.
They have grown over the time I have used them and I have no current complaints.

Overall our experience with Survey monkey has been great as an addition tool to get surveys out.
I love how easy it is to set up multiple surveys, as well as the multiple ways of sending it to different people.
I feel like it's very similar to Google Docs in that it allows the survey results all in one place. We do a lot with Google and sometimes it's just easier to stick with them.

Not great. We switched over to Google Docs. IT could have been a great program, especially with the ease of use of the website. But I don't like being blindsided with fees.
The website is great - it is polished and easy to use. Navigation is simple and the website just looks great in general - no complaints in the LOOK of the product.
Nothing about this is actually free. Attempted to use the free version that was advertised, spent some time setting everything up and then was told I was using premium features and had to pay a subscription fee to actually use them.

I like how easy it is to put together a quick survey to send out to people. It is very straight forward and a great way to capture results quickly. I also like the live texting feature you can use to get live survey results while presenting in a meeting.
I do not have anything that I dislike about this software. Something useful could be allowing the results to integrate into an excel sheet or Google docs sheet for easy access.

SurveyMonkey is very easy to use to create surveys to gain answers and opinions from others in order to make decisions that people are happy with.
I do prefer Google Forms simply because it integrates better with Google Drive and the other Google programs I use.

Sometimes we use google forms because a lot of our other stuff is on google.

SurveyMonkey is easy to use, and operate. Both putting together the survey as well as the people who are sending it out and taking it will have no trouble getting started and learning the ropes of how to use/operate this.
Personally, I think Google surveys is better because of the email functionality, and working system into google sheets. If you use no google products, SurveyMonkey is great, but most people I believe are more familiar with taking surveys using Google Survey.

In an effort to digitize majority of your employee feedback docs we use survey monkey to get the much needed feedback.
The ease of deploying quick answers to everyone in my agency.
How limited some of the issues are if you are using the free version.

Overall great survey tool, especially in terms of ease of use
Survey monkey is very easy to use, both to implement a survey and to take a survey. Would highly recommend.
Very similar features to google forms, which I think is used more frequently given it seamlessly incorporated into google drive.

SurveyMonkey has been around for a long time because it's reliable and great software.
I like SurveyMonkey because I can create many types of poles for my coworkers to use when deciding on work related events and the visualization is extremely helpful and intuitive
The only downside to SurveyMonkey is that it doesn't integrate as well as google forms does with my google account.

This was good until google forms was invented then it became second best. Highly recommend google forms over this.
There was a free version, people with the link could take the survey on their own devices
It costed money for the free version, it’s not as good as google forms

Best application for surveys and really good integration.
The integration the application has wtih Google sheets, office Reports, Trello, hubspot and google forms.
Not sure but some of their higher paid packages are really high in prices and not affordable, thousands of dollars...

Overall I prefer to use Google Forms for simple questionnaires or to collect feedback from customers.
SurveyMonkey has all the features and is also easy to use but I just seems less intuitive than Google forms.
Setting up forms just takes more time than in Google Forms. Things that are free in Google Forms are paid features in SurveyMonkey.

SurveyMonkey provides a very convenient platform for polling opinions that is intuitive and free to use.
Recently google forms have been a very popular alternative to SurveyMonkey that integrate very nicely with Google Drive and other services. SurveyMonkey lacks this.

I would continue to use it. It has the ability to randomize which is useful to me as a teacher.
Using this service gets feedback quickly with reliable links. It is super easy to set up and is user friendly. It provides insightful data. I like the benchmarks it gives.
I don’t see major cons, but there are some other services that are comparable like Google forms. I believe Google forms has more rules though.

I've used SurveyMonkey when I wanted to get opinions from our past and potentiel clients about our company.
SurveyMonkey's been around for years and there's a reason why; it's intuitive, well-designed, user-friendly, and super easy to use. I've used it many times in the past for one-time survey uses.
For many reason, I have recently switched from this software to Google Forms to collect surveys on the regular. With Google Forms, I can embed my survey directly to my website and collect answers as they come in, all merging seamlessly with my Google Sheets. For these features which I have yet to find in Survey Monkey, I prefer Google Forms

The interface is clear, it is not difficult to understand how to answer the surveys
I just do not like that the site does not let google translate the parts of the surveys that we answer, I could let google translate.

This is an easy to use system that has some advantages over using Google Forms. For one, the graphs are better than Google Form graphs.
The graph reports after the survey are very good. It allows you to get a quick view of the data without taking too much time to dive in deeper.
The free version is not really useful because it is so limited. However, it is a good feature in that you can test it out to see if you like it.

Good experience with the website. Recommended for students who want to create a quick survey.
I have used SurveyMonkey extensively during my masters when we had to conduct surveys as a part of group projects. It is very easy to create surveys and also to share them. Also for the user, it is quite easy to fill in the survey.
I would say there are better alternatives available. For example, Google has its own survey product called Google Form which has a better User Interface than SurveyMonkey.

Not impressed. I would use the free scope of surveymonkey until I reach the ceiling of that before reverting to Google docs.
Google Docs come at no extra cost if you are already invested in G-suite for other reasons (e.g. e-mail service).
Forced localization (language, currency) Functionalities fall short (doesn't support certain question types) It's "too easy", meaning if you are stuck then it is too difficult to figure your way Inconsistent way to do things, so you can't trace your steps and can't count on finding how to do something you've done before

I love using Google Forms to create surveys and forms for a variety of business functions (like a training sign up sheet). Forms is like a free, versatile version of surveymonkey. If you have someone on your team who can do some coding in JavaScript, then you can use the Google Apps Scripting to automate just about any task from your form.
I wish that google sheets had more of the complex data analytics tools available in MS Excel. The auto save feature can also be your best friend or your enemy, guaranteeing you never losing your work, but inadvertently allowing someone to make unintentional changes.
