Pros

Happy using surveymonkey, once I prepared office Christmas party and I used it to create a voting platform to present funny awards to the employees.
I love survey monkey I feel this is one of the best survey software out there. The setup process is very fast and seamless.
Customization on this platform is really fantastic and everything is so easily customizable, the user interface is slick and clean and very friendly looking.

Pros

It's easy to learn, easy to use, and even easy to teach. I love this software and would love to become some sort of certified expert user if at all possible.
I love the flexibility of options in terms of how you can deploy questions and the type of questions you can ask using this software. What you can do with the data afterward is just as excellent too.
What I love most about Qualtrics is the suite of tool built into the software to help analysis the results. I also appreciate all the options in crafting the survey.

Cons

The company's take on my dilemma was - "Pay for it" and you'll get the information you need. In my opinion they shouldn't bother having a free version of this software if it functions that poorly.
And completing would give you typically anywhere between 0.5-2. All surveys initially start with a few boring routine questions, which make you pissed off.
There should be more protection factors when approving registrations and preventing fraud.

Cons

There are only a few things that we have found the software incapable of doing, and they have been rather minor. We did request that the company add them to their "to-do" list.
Our one complaint is that the price has crept up over the years to the point that it's significantly higher than we were paying 4-5 years ago.
The data analysis options offered within Qualtrics are weak, as are the data cleaning options. This is a non-issue for smaller, or non-scientific surveys.

Great for Simple Surveys and Research

Pros

SurveyMonkey is cost effective, and fully featured. I have used it many times to develop surveys, and conduct research. It is great for gathering customer feedback, market research, job applications, and really anytime you need feedback.

Cons

If given a choice between SurveyMonkey and Qualtrics, I would choose Qualtrics every time. SurveyMonkey lacks some of the Enterprise, and response management features that I love in Qualtrics.

It's good, but I still prefer my payed survey system (Qualtrics).

Pros

I like that it's free and easy to use. It helps for quick survey turnarounds, and you can design a survey in 5 minutes.

Cons

The functionalities are limited; sometimes you need to find creative ways of doing things, because it's less useful than other softwares.

Basic but Gets the Job Done

It was serviceable but we switched to Qualtrics and it's like night and day between the two services

Pros

What's great about Survey Monkey is how intuitive it is to use. It's very easy to get to grips with creating your surveys and distributing them is straightforward as well. You can easily see the results of each respondent and create reports. There are also a variety of easy to use exporting options should you want to use excel or word to look at your survey results.

Cons

There simply isn't enough depth to the service when compared to something like Qualtrics. While it is easier to use than Qualtrics it is a much more basic service. There really isn't that much customization options when it comes to creating your own report. Your better off just exporting to excel and your own graphs.

We've used SurveyMonkey to survey our staff a lot and they seem to like it.

Pros

SurveyMonkey is really easy to use and has decent graphics from an end user perspective. I like the functionality and also has a lot of templates you can use as a guide.

Cons

It's not as robust as Qualtrics or other survey providers when it comes to analyzing the results, but it provides some minimal information.

I have used Qualtrics for quite some time due to university standards but have switched SurveyMonkey given its critical features and ease of use.

Cons

I don't really have many problems. Perhaps a training course prior to survey creation would be helpful since I was a little lost at first
