Great for scheduling appointments!

We use Time Tap for our international students to make appointments at our Center. It has been a successful addition to our program and our student's success.

Pros

For our purposes of allowing students to make tutoring appointments, Time Tap has been invaluable. Our students can make appointments any time of day, so the convenience for them has made our service more accesible and utilized. Also, the cost for us is minimal compared to how much it has helped our students accomplish their goal of learning English faster than without it, and compared to other similar products that are structured specifically for a tutoring center.

Cons

The only con I would say for us is that the basic level of use only allows 10 users at a time. As a university, we are limited tohow much we can spend on an outside appointment program, so we make due with the basic level.

Bike fitting appointment challenges

I don't feel having customers schedule a time to have a very personal service like Bike Fitting works with this application. Getting your bike tuned up makes more sense. Imagine trying to schedule a doctor appointment with a sore arm. Without some questions it could be a pulled muscle or bruise... or a heart attack. This assumes the customer knows what service will suit their needs. Often the customer chooses the least expensive option.

Pros

sync's with Google accounts. Able to see multiple days/weeks quickly. Nice customer data base if we enter it. Customer entry is not so consistent. Really think it could work well for our education programs as well as service if we put a larger chunk of time allotted on our part (assume the bike is in worse shape than customer thinks it is!)

Cons

Customer problems setting up appointments- not consistently letting a customer know they have NOT REGISTERED fully, also same situation sometimes sends the fitter an email, sometimes blocks off the time even though not registered properly. Setting up fitter availability is too complicated- needs to be a calendar that is not open until the fitter goes on a calendar and opens up times- our schedules...

Poor support even in Business Plan

Cons

- Very very bad support even in Business Plan. They promise to arrange a dedicated phone number in Business Plan. I asked for a dedicated phone number and it has been over 1 month and no solution. Support team even does not reply my messages for over 15 days !!! - I have been using this program for over 3 years and the system is buggy. They always release new version but in each version system gets buggier

TimeTap for Small Medical Practice

Overall very satisfied. I am using the program to keep up with the schedule for a small primary care medical practive (one provider).

Pros

I have a tiny practice and was trying to get away from burdensome EMR. I needed an affordable scheduling app/program only. It was very quick to learn. It serves our needs fairly well. There are things I have not explored so I can't offer much more. The version for my iPhone is very handy and quick to access also.

Cons

We often have to refresh the screen because it will be black when we log on at first. This is not every time and not even most of the time, but it is frequent. After refreshing 1-5 times the appropriate screen shows up. The messaging features to clients are limited with the regular advertised price. This affects us a little but can't afford to add features. Would probably just pull back to Office Calendar if the price started climbing. For the current price point I benefit from TimeTap and I plan to stay with them.

Useful tool--very responsive support!

My team needed a tool to track registration numbers for a couple global events we were hosting for our company (72,000+ employees). We used WebEx to host the online event, however we found the registration tool in WebEx was lacking and didn't fit our needs. Some of the email templates were a little confusing to me at first. It took time to figure out where the templates pulled information from to understand where to update things.

We love TimeTap!

Pros

You can't beat the price for the features that you receive with TimeTap! It is also very intuitive and user-friendly to set up. Staff is friendly and available for any questions you may have as well.

Cons

The only hiccup we have experienced is having to set up two different accounts because of security - one of our use cases had sensitive information that we did not want other users of the account to be able to see, so we ultimately had to split them off. Enhanced security/viewing roles would be great.

It's clunky and a bit unreliable

The customer support team is great!

Pros

We already purchased it and have it implemented.

Cons

The UI is super clunky. For the price point we should have more features. We're a small family run biz and the expense of the API is cost prohibitive so we're doing work arounds. Most of the set-up and training is user centered. That should have more of a set-up walk through guide to get classes set up. Our users have a really hard time with it. I spend a lot of time executing what should be user centered items vs. our side.

Pros

Flexibility, that it is customizable, that customer service is quick to respond, and always helpful, reasonable price, easy for clients to use, appointment reminders are helpful.

Cons

I tend to find that the online site is easier to use on my phone than the iPhone app. Both are slow to load, however.

It saves a ton of time. I have nothing but good things to say about TimeTap!

Pros

Ease of use, flexibility is pricing, custom URLs, automatic email reminders, text reminders, calendar syncing, easy rescheduling, etc...

Cons

I can't think of any but my assistant finds it to be too "sensitive" at times. She's only been using it a few weeks though...

Great service!

This has saved me so much time by keeping me off the phone and letting people schedule their own appointments. I don't feel as guilty about not getting the phone when I'm with a client

Pros

Incredibly simple to use, and the support team is outstanding

Cons

None that I can think of. If I had to nit-pick, I wish that the lower cost version would allow 2 providers rather than just jumping from 1 to 5 at the next level up

Easy made easy? Somehow

We just switched from a custom made in house sotfware that was not as good developed as this one. We are here user so still finding out new feature. The good thing is that it was an easy transition.

Pros

It is easy to use. Authorization levels for different user. Easy to set up. The appointment set up form are very customizable. Not to expensive. Great to control payment scheduling.

Cons

Five computers by default. You want more? Pay extra for more. Might as well give you unlimited access for the company. As easy as is to use the media integration gave us some trouble. However it is fair to say that the help part it is indeed helpful.

Great for research participant sign-ups

Very professional looking platform for students to use and helped us schedule appointments around 6 staff member's schedules.

Pros

I loved the price (free for a single user), it was very user-friendly, and made our lab look very professional.

Cons

Some of the scheduling was difficult to do because of the way the application works. For instance, I used this software to allow lab participants to sign up for various time slots our researchers had available. It is not obvious how to include availability, especially when repeating.

Great scheduling tool

When looking for a web scheduling tool, I reviewed over 20 different company's that offered this service. TimeTap was the only site that fit our needs completely. The software isn't just easy to use in creating the appointment schedule, but it is extremely simple for our customers to book their appointments on.

Pros

Lucy Barber- She was the representative that helped me set up my web scheduling page. She was extremely important in the tool being a success for me. Even though a already purchased the package, she continues to help me when I need to add new functions to the web scheduler. Ease of use- When I show the tool to my customers, they are amazed at how easy the scheduler is to use. It takes me only 5 minutes to train them on how to schedule their appointments.

Cons

Pricing: After 5 staff/locations, you get charged extra. Over the coming months, my company may be adding as many as 20 staff/locations. This can get very costly in the future.

Great Scheduling App

My clients can schedule and cancel their appointments themselves. I can also require them to pay for their sessions in advance which has resulted in less cancellations. And if they do cancel, I have already been paid so my cash flow is reliable.

Pros

The app is affordable and reasonably priced. The features are very flexible so it works well for a changing business like minee.

Cons

Some of the features aren't that obvious and take a little time to figure out. Support is not instantly available so that can be frustrating.

Does Everything You Need!

Pros

TimeTap was the only software we trialled that could handle our requirements: multiple locations and multiple staff, with separate booking sites for each location. The price is very reasonable compared to other similar systems and the support is great.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve but that's to be expected from a complex system with so many features.

Simple & Easy! Fast responses everytime!

I've been with TimeTap for 6 months now and I'm really happy with them. I am just trying out the Beta version of their product so right now it is free for me to use, but their pricing after Beta looks to be affordable too. It's easy to use and if you don't know what something does their support team will get you an answer in less than an hour most times. I like the fact that my clients can book online with me and that it's so easy for them to do that. I also like getting the appointment confirmations and updates through my email. The app is really fast and works on my iphone too. Highly recommend!

Cons

Did not care for having to switch between the “calendar” and “appointment” pages. Would be great to have view of classes and appts together for a given day

Online Scheduler

We used TimeTap to help us set up a new online scheduler for a plan sponsor. They are excellent to work with and have gone above and beyond helping us with tweaking the site to the meet the requests of the plan sponsor. The site is also easy to navigate through for both us as the administrators, as well as the employees who will be using it. I would recommend them to anyone needing to initiate an online scheduler. And the cost is very fair compared to other scheduler companies we looked at.

Easy of use. No training required. Very helpful online document or live chat session.

Cons

Pricing. It would be nice to have pricing per user not pricing per 5 users at a time. I wanted to have 12 users and with the current pricing model, I have to buy 15 users licensing.

Overall TimeTap is a beneficial software that is used to organize and schedule appointments. Cost is less then the other programs out there.

Pros

TimeTap helps by making appointment scheduling more convenient. Services are more accessible and can be utilized any time of day.

Cons

At times appointments have failed to schedule. Limited basic features. Confusing to navigate at first.

Good product- but not for higher education

We quickly realized that this isn't a good higher education product and it is better for appointments for services. I also didn't realize how not customizable it is- it could also be the version we ordered.

Pros

The price was affordable and it is accessible.

Cons

It is a little clunky on the backend. It was hard to customized emails and we didn't like the appearance to the student.
