EXTRAORDINARY PRODUCT AND SUPPORT!

We had a journalism career exhibit fair for almost 4000 (four thousand) people. We had NO experience with such an event. VFairs held our hand and armed us with the skills and support needed for a very successful convention. We are going to use them at least 4 times a year going forward. I can truly say they we are thrilled to have such a "partnership" with a company/product. We are still getting rave reviews about the experience!

Pros

It was fun, functional, easy to use and extremely versatile. This is an awesome product with EXCELLENT AND FRIENDLY support staff!

Cons

NONE! We liked everything. There is absolutely no negative about this product.

Excellent all around! It was that great that I am highly recommending their product and service.

Pros

The software combined with the technical support provided by the expertise of vFairs team is exceptional. If you are a visionary like me who is looking for an outstanding interactive experience for their students or audience - look no further -vFairs is the platform and the team that can make it happen for you. They worked tirelessly with me day/night to have my vision come to fruition.

Cons

The BEST platform for virtual events!!!

Absolutely amazing! We have been using vFairs for about 2 years and I have only good things to say about it! It is a terrific platform with an amazing customer service team! Its a 10/10 in my book!

Pros

I love that everything is customizable. I also love the fact that vFairs listens to feedback from their customers and are constantly improving. The vFairs team is extremely quick to respond and always a pleasure to work with.

Cons

After using other platforms, I can say that I have no cons. It is an excellent event platform/software and I couldn't be happier with its functionality.

Overall experience has been good. It has allowed us to host one-off webinars and webinar series with little overhead.

Pros

The completely bespoke development approach to vFairs was essential. I especially appreciate the dedicated projects team that are able to support on short notice. [sensitive content hidden] and staff have been extremely responsive, prompt, and professional throughout this process. The onboarding tools and project management have been top notch.

Cons

I haven't had any major issues or concerns in using vFairs.

Pros

We are a creative agency, so our platform has to be innovative, cutting edge, and above all else fully customizable. vFairs checks off all those boxes, and tops it off with excellent customer support from start to finish.

Cons

There really isn't anything that gives me pause right now. If anything, I wish some of the custom add-ons and integrations we're included in the base event package.

vFairs review Nov 2020

This was a first time virtual event for us and we learned a lot. If we were to hold another virtual event, we would definitely use vFairs again, and would be able to make the next event even more effective. We were pleased with vFairs ability to put this event together in just 12 weeks - especially recognizing the increased volume of events vFairs is seeing.

Pros

Project managers were really very good. They were able to take concepts and help us make them workable. Graphics were engaging - attendees liked the virtual lobbies/halls/convention center and animations. Robust reporting. Value for the cost. Trade show/virtual booth design options and scalability. Great support on live days. Setup for presentations was pretty easy once we learned how to do it.

Cons

Limitations on some of the customizations. There weren't any user manuals. Would have been nice to have demo sites available for us to use in planning our event. Participants couldn't create a customized agenda. Participants couldn't modify or cancel registration information after registering - changes had to be made through administrative back-end.

Great virtual event platform with top customer support

Pros

We used the vFairs platform to organize a virtual property show with a number of external exhibitors. Exhibitor setup is very straightforward and we are also able to demo all the event's features ahead of the live event which helps with the preparation process for exhibitors. Attendee access and segmentation was straightforward and allowed us for more customisation of the messages sent in the event. The customer support is on point and was crucial for us in delivering a successful event. [sensitive content hidden] ensured all our requests were picked up and resolved on time. We are looking forward to doing the next event with the team!

Cons

For marketing communications and booking chat slots ahead of the event, we require external links redirecting to a specific virtual stand or a simplified chat booking system that doesn't involve individual stands. This is not currently possible so, we use an external chat booking system. It would be great to see some solutions in place in this area.

vFairs is an amazing company to work with. They are flexible with your needs, and are very clear with time tables and expectations of their platform. I had the opportunity to work with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], and they are an amazing duo of a project team. Anything I needed they were on it. Thank you vFairs for an amazing event. On to planning our next!

Pros

vFairs was excellent with providing samples, and was willing to work with us to create a full blown Magenta experience for our candidates. Begin able to capture candidate data, load videos & content, have live sessions, chat and Interviewing capabilities. Its nice to know that you can use one platform for everything you need in a hiring event.

Cons

Cons and this was on us was allowing candidates to call / video call our support team during the day of an event.

Experience with vFairs

The overall experience has been fantastic! We will continue to use vFairs for all of our virtual events and will continue to work with them to make the most out of the platform!

Pros

We love the customization and the flexibility of the platform. We've received excellent customer support from vfairs and truly enjoy working with the team! The cost aligns with our budget so no complaints there! We've asked for several revisions, updates to the rooms, changes to layouts etc... and vFairs exceeds our expectations every time!

Cons

The designs are a bit outdated. Users have expressed that it looks like a video game from the 90s. The avatars especially could be updated to reflect more human-like images. The ability to play music is nice but only allows for 3 mins of a song, so it's too repetitive. The spinning graphic display is also on a loop and seems glitchy due to start/stop so it doesn't spin continuously.

More Is always Possible...

While we were truly impressed by the software - there could have been improvements with the team and expectations. We feel that there were misunderstandings on the capabilities of the software and it created a problem the day of (which caused a mad scramble on our end to fix). We also felt like we were responsible for a large majority of the "setup". At the very beginning we were under the impression that they were implementing, but as it turned out we did a lot of the back end work. A FULL trial run of the environment the day before the event would have alleviated many issues that came up day of. We also would have appreciated some "best practices" on how events run. We asked but wasn't told anything in particular. For example, it would have been nice if we did a "That's a Wrap!" video at the end of our event to close the event and thank our attendees. That idea was never suggested to us - hence the last session ended and that was it. Very unusual way to end the day....

Pros

Received well by our clients and environment was impressive. vFairs platform went beyond just hosting webinars - was pleasantly surprised by some functionality like gamification, Swag Bag ability. Another added perk of it being browser based software, this really allowed for us to prevent technical mishaps from occurring.

Cons

Negative aspect was not being able to video chat with multiple participants at the same time (ie - group chat with video similar to Zoom). This would have allowed for better networking overall. Did not like that we had to refresh multiple times during the event (that wasn't even told to us by vFairs to do).

Great platform and even better service

The customer service is top notch. I have never worked with a group of people that are so easy to get along with, that know what they are doing and are able to assist you without any delay. I am grateful for our Project Manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], that we have been working with for a few years now. There isn't an issue she cant resolve or take care of. She is quick to respond to emails and can get work done on short notice. Grateful for the service we have received all these years.

Pros

Vfairs makes it easy to put on a virtual event. They offer a variety of options and make it easy to get creative with their constant updates to designs and offerings. The software is easy to use once you've worked on it a few times. The platform has the ability to be as complex as you want or as simple, allowing you to design to your constituents needs. We will continue working with vfairs.

Cons

I don't think there's anything we don't like about the software. It works for us and we are happy with it.

Best Conference Ever Held

Pros

The visual appeal of the platform is immaculate. Once you enter the lobby, you are fully immersed in a virtual environment and perfectly mimics a physical conference. Users have the ability to walk around, chat to other participants, visit booths, play games, download files, watch presentations and so much more. And if any user isnt able to watch everything on the day, they can watch it anytime during a 1 month period. The features on this platform are amazing, they truly deserve an award for this. The customer support team is top notch! They assisted us tirelessly and responded to emails quickly. The team was able to integrate all of our ideas into a single amazing platform.

Cons

Id recommend that the chat feature be more integrated. Perhaps a small tab at the bottom right corner of the screen so users can continue about their tour while they continue their conversations.

Very good experience overall, the vFairs team, as usual, was very available to willing to help us achieve exactly what we needed and wanted. They were with us every step of the way to make our event a success.

Pros

vFairs' flexibility and capacity to adapt to the client's needs was very appreciated in this project. They are reactive and willing to help, always full of solutions. We managed to set an online training program on the platform by adapting the tools to our requirements.

Cons

Some features, especially when reworking them to adapt them to our needs, are not always that easy to understand and having the team be so far away makes communication not as clear as one could hope.

Before I found vFairs, I was set out to find a robust virtual event platform that could outperform our current virtual event platform. vFairs' demo and features blew me away AND it was a GREAT price point. They have helped us changed the way we do business from a virtual planning and design perceptive. I highly recommend vFairs to everyone and anyone who is interested in doing virtual events.

Pros

The developers and design team can create pretty much whatever you have in mind. This is HUGE!

Cons

Since vFairs is newer to the virtual platform scene compared to INEXPO and ON24, they're still developing things within their software.

I am amazed by [SENSITIVE CONTENT] responsiveness. I have yet to send her an email and not receive a response within minutes. In addition, I find her quite knowledgeable and innovative regarding the vFairs product/service. Finally, I appreciated the video she made for me explaining a workflow. I was able to view it multiple times until it became familiar.

Cons

Web-based administration consoles can often be tedious to use. But, vFairs somehow managed to make it not quite so rough.

Extremely amateurish

Conferences are a very important part of academia, and like everywhere else, we have had to switch to online venues. It is clear that vFairs has absolutely no experience with academic conferences, or that they have ever tried to attend one of the events they organised. The interface is extremely clunky, it is nearly impossible to find other people, it is impossible to share informations with others (like, if you find someone in the chat, you cannot direct them to your presentation because it's not possible to even send a simple link to it). The purpose of a conference is to foster communication, but the Q&A interface next to each poster doesn't allow replying to questions... The live call provided by Whereby is okay, but opens in a new window, so you cannot show your poster at the same time unless you share you own screen... And there is no way of knowing if the live call room is populated before you join, with camera and sound on by default... In short, vFairs is just a collection of pre-existing tools haphazardly put together, without any integration... the live support present during the conference is here only to tell users that the obvious functionality that their looking for is actually not implemented...

Pros

Nothing really. The whole operation seems like a scam.

Cons

All looks and zero functionality. I guess they convince organisers by showing fancy 3D conference center images... which serve absolutely no purpose. They should have spent less time on this, and more time on making their website usable.

vFairs worked great for our virtual event experience

vFairs customer service was top notch. They were very communicative, quick to respond, provided examples of other virtual events, and insights into what we should and should not do. The customer service experience alone would be the reason to choose vFairs.

Pros

The product out of the box was intuitive and set the course for what we needed.

Cons

Some of the virtual users in the different environments were duplicated a few times, but all in all, it didn't provide a negative experience. Being the admin and shared-lead on the project allows you to notice things that normal users wouldn't.

Student Conservation Association just hosted its second ever virtual career fair on the vFairs platform. We continue to be impressed with the technology and more importantly the staff. We have worked with Hamda and Faha over the last two years and they are nothing short of AMAZING. We will come back year after year to this team to help us meet all are conferencing needs. I highly, highly recommend!

The branding and the ease of the platform.

Cons

I would like the chat function to be more intuitive. I would also like a function for recruiters to be able to search resumes easily to find candidates that meet their needs.

The vFairs app and project management team far surpassed our expectations. We recommend this app to anyone in the market. You will not be disappointed!

Pros

Our association has wanted to utilize a conference app for several years. However, the financial costs and time needed to effectively manage an app kept us from moving forward. That all changed when we were introduced to vFairs. They worked with us on securing a price that we could afford and offered a dedicated team to assist with app construction, organization, and deployment. Ammemah was WONDERFUL to work with. She had a great team that was highly attentive to our needs, provided clear and timely feedback/responses, and met with our planning team on a regular basis. The app was a big hit with our conference attendees and we look forward to making it even better next year!

Cons

The only con to vFairs was that we didn't find it sooner

Moving a popular established event online was a daunting prospect - but we did it with vFairs!

Using the vFairs platform enabled us to deliver an important annual event in a year where physical events were impossible. By running the event on a digital platform our reach expanded significantly and as a result we have over doubled the attendance at the event and had engagement with delegates from new countries and regions across the world. The quality of the interface was first class and allowed us to attract sponsors and sell exhibition space which was hugely important to the delivery of the event. Such was the experience with the event we are looking to re-book for a new conference in 2021 and will seek to build on the event delivery from Q4 2020 to ensure we capitalise on more of the functions and interactivity that the platform has available to us.

Pros

The software was extremely intuitive for users to navigate and we particularly liked the integration with zoom, the networking functionality and the ability to add content to a virtual delegate bag.

Cons

The chat function for the exhibitors didn't get the interaction we would have hoped for but we acknowledge that further training and guidance for the exhibitors would have been helpful.
