vFairs Provides an Engaging Experience

Using vFairs has allowed us to make a global onboarding process that is engaging, informative, and very well received by our new caregivers.

Pros

vFairs is easy to use, very customizable, and allowed us to create an engaging virtual live experience. Our contacts at vFairs , especially our Project Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT] , are amazing: very responsive and helpful in all aspects of design, configuration, and the day-to-day operations of our weekly event.

Cons

Since we have a weekly event, we were interested in triggering automated emails to the weekly groups--- vFairs is working on ways to help us do that in a more automated way. That said, we're still able to do this with just a few clicks!

Very user-friendly for both the participants to attend the virtual event and for the admin team to make changes on the back-end in real-time as needed for the virtual event

Cons

The reporting process is a bit difficult to manage and sort the data

Great hybrid event platform

vFairs provided a great platform to host a hybrid event with in-person and virtual components. It also bridged the divide so that in-person and virtual attendees could interact.

Pros

The best part of the vFairs platform is the combination of access to DIY controls and partnering with a Project Manager for personalized assistance. We had both helping hands to guide us along, and the ability to make edits on the fly.

Cons

I disliked needing to set up mobile and desktop controls separately, for the virtual environment, but I understood why it was set up that way. I hope in the future the system can automatically adapt or allow you to check boxes from one control area for if something is accessible from both desktop and the mobile app. I also hope the registration platform gets enhanced and becomes part of the dashboard in the future.

I had an amazing experience with vFairs. This was our third event using vFairs and I would recommend it to anyone that was considering having a virtual event.

Pros

What I liked most about vFairs is knowing that we had a reliable team to help us with any issues that we had throughout the whole process. We never worried that any question would not be answered in a timely manner.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about vFairs.

I think the ease of use, the platform itself is really impressive, and the support is outstanding. Our main contact [sensitive content hidden] was such a pleasure to work with, we worked with her last year, and I requested she be assigned to our event this year. She makes the whole process easy and fun, and regardless of my idea/suggestion, she is always coming back with ways they can support it.

Cons

I can't think of anything, both years our event was great.

Cons

Reporting is available, but cumbersome, although support team did assist greatly. Inability for registrants to make changes that would notify planner. VFairs did work around, but wish options were available.

Next best thing to live

We have used vfairs for all our latest virtual events and it has been a huge success. Definitely the best solution out there we've tried for virtual or hybrid events. The team working with us was fantastic and it really made a difference for us.

Pros

Vfairs team is amazing and invested in making all of our events a great success. It has all the capabilities we are looking for for a virtual conference and super cool how everything can be customized.

Cons

Ability to use full version of zoom in the live stream - we're missing some features.

Pros

It is easy to navigate. In addition, the product is much more cost effective than other platforms. Their customer service is excellent!

Cons

Chatroom function could be a little more sophisticated.

vFairs is the absolute BEST!

From the inception to completion, my Project Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team, has ensured I have everything I need to have a successful event. The team really works with me to get things done the way they should be and in a timely fashion. No doubt they are a BIG reason I love the platform!

Pros

The vFairs platform is extremely user friendly. Add the ability to customize and the Project Management support, it makes the experience seamless. There’s really no competition when it comes to those things. It’s easy to use and so impactful at the same time.

Cons

Would like to see options for Exhibitors to see how many attendees are logged in, but I love the platform!

Virtual and hybrid conferences with VFairs

We hosted one large virtual conference with VFairs which was a huge success, and we are currently planning two hybrid events hosted with VFairs - it has allowed us to have a larger reach with our audience.

Pros

The software was very user-friendly for both the people responsible for setting up the backend of the platform, as well as for our attendees. We were able to have presenters submit their poster presentations/recordings/video files directly to the platform without needing to collect them ourselves. The design features are also endless, with tons of options for anything you wanted to display.

Cons

The prices were a bit high, otherwise I didn't have any negatives.

Great Partners

The best part of working with vfairs was the support they gave. From the moment we enquired they have provides exemplary customer service. The support they gave during the building of our vafirs event was top class. Nothing was any trouble. They were available when we needed them, they fast tracked our event as our lead time was a bit shorter than normal. They provided suggestions to maximise the effectiveness of our event and they worked with us on some ideas we had . It was a true partnership and they have been such fun to work with.

Pros

The chat function is user friendly.Being able to move between public and private chat provides agility. The ability to phone and video within the platform is very useful. The separate rooms -lobby,hall,auditorium allows us to replicate an actual event and provides structure to the event. The wide choice of templates is appealing as it allowed us to find a template that reflected our brand. The backend setup is intuitive in loading video, flyers. The platform looks good.

Cons

The only clunky aspect is reporting but we got better at extracting reports the more we used teh platform. The content of the reports is good, it was just getting the nuance of how to extract.

Virtual Open House Review

My experience with vFairs was amazing. Our customer service rep was an excellent business partner from start to finish. He was professional and addressed all of our questions in a timely fashion and was flexible with last minute edits/requests. The virtual open house was a new channel for our organization and because of this, generated a lot of internal buzz. This was so well executed that other teams are considering hosting their own virtual events.

Pros

I was very pleased with the finished product. From the lobby, to the exhibit hall and auditorium, everything looked amazing. For the most part, there were no system glitches during the event and everything worked properly. I loved the ability to host a webcast to attendees!

Cons

I think some registrants had issues logging in or knowing where to login. To help this, I think we should automatically have a line in both the client's promotion emails and in the reminder emails sent by vFairs asking the registrant to bookmark the link so that it can be accessed easily the day of. Also, in the group chats, in the area to the right where you can see the booths and the number of messages in the room, the area didn't refresh easily. For example, I would answer questions in the booth, exit the booth and then go back because it still showed there were questions to be answered when there really weren't. Additionally, the "Users online" area wasn't functioning properly.

If you know, you know!

From the very beginning we were given focused support with plenty of training and assistance to pull off a major event in a short period of time. The platform and service are solid but, what sets vFairs apart are knowledgeable support team members and individualized handholding. Truly bar none!

Pros

To say the support received is the best would be a gross understatement. Many products and platforms offer exciting and engaging virtual experiences but the individualized and immediate support we receive with vFairs has left us totally impressed.

Cons

We are able to customize several aspects of the platform but there are a few minor items that would help ensure a flawless event. Nothing critical but as an example, a hybrid admin/attendee persona would be helpful for us.

Excellent. We would recommend vFairs for the platform and especially for their customer service!

Pros

vFairs is a wonderful platform: modern, fresh, intuitive and flexible. It was easy to use the product to create a fun, engaging conference for our stakeholders. We received very positive feedback on the platform from many different groups: members, sponsors, attendees, and speakers. Customer service is top notch. The vFairs team is super professional, patient, attentive and thoughtful. We could not have received better service to support this product!

Cons

There are no cons. In fact, we're referred many of our members and participants to vFairs. We did an exhaustive search of numerous platforms before choosing vFairs. We absolutely made the right decision!

Study@RMIT Virtual Expo

Our customer service representative was very flexible, friendly and helpful. They made the experience enjoyable and easy during a stressful time. It would have been good to know about the public holiday period that fell on the week of our event earlier so we could have planned around it. In saying that our representative was so attentive they made sure that this didn't effect our event.

Pros

It was very easy to use and navigate. The booth function was great and look very tidy. The chat was easy to use.

Cons

There were limitations to customise. It would be great if the avatars could be from diverse backgrounds. It would be great if there was a queuing system for the Chat.

Functional and unique

Had a great experience with vFairs and the team, our questions and issues leading up to the event and planning were promptly addressed. Regular meetings and communications were fine. The only challenging and stressful moment was right on event day when there was a mix-up with the timezone changes which meant our webinars and countdowns were incorrect. However it was fixed once the team was informed and did not impact the overall event.

Pros

Having to adapt to a new virtual event space, this software allowed for unique customisation for our company and also ease of use in terms of creating booths, adding documents and videos, etc.

Cons

The backend of the website could be a bit challenging to navigate and required quite a bit of time to self-train and engage with in order to use correctly.

The best platform for virtual conferences!

We hosted 2 events on VFairs. One was a Demo day for products that will help the hotel and hospitality industry address challenges brought up from Covid-19. Second, was a global conference for higher education practitioners and administrators who focus on entrepreneurship education.

Pros

-Great event and customer service -Responsive event manager -Easy to use for users and exhibitors

Cons

-A way for admins and attendees to see all people on the platform during the event

vFairs Has Few Rivals

vFairs provided us a professional look and feel for a virtual conference that I believe our Members and guests truly appreciated.

Pros

The gamification within vFairs is SUPERIOR! I wish I could use vFairs for every event just to use the leader board.

Cons

The online registration process required us to do more work than was necessary, in my humble opinion. Integration with our existing merchant processing was costly and inefficient.

V Fairs Experience

They are a great team and their customer service and Tech support was one of the best. The project managers and Tech team were really easy to deal with and made it a great experience.

Pros

We really liked the ability to have an exhibition floor where it was easy for vendors to connect with attendees at the click of a button

Cons

The chat software did not function that well and we had problems on the day

Great. [sensitive content hidden] was the best. She worked very hard and her customer service was excellent.

Pros

The best feature was [sensitive content hidden]!! While we really like the platform, what made it exceptional was [sensitive content hidden].Sorry programmers, it was the interpersonal working with [sensitive content hidden] that made the difference (two years in a row).

Cons

I can't think of anything. Last year (or was it two years ago) there was an issue with the integration of the IDLOOM registration. We had to use Zapier.It seems like we overcame that the last two years.

Canada Post great experience

Excellent. Our Project Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very organized and responsive. He showed a vested interest in our success and genuinely cared about project. Our three events have gone extremely events and we received great feedback from participants and senior leadership.

Pros

The vFair platform has allowed Canada Post, a national company with employees across the country, to conduct a 2 hour internal virtual career development event where employees can chat with senior leaders in the company to learn what it is like to work in their department. It is a career and development focused event to help employees learn about other functions in the company.

Cons

At the beginning of my relationship with vfair I was not sure who my main point of contact was but now it is clear.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was our project manager and he was absolutely fantastic to work with, the support he gave was awesome, nothing was too much trouble and he was calm and confident so we felt we could trust him completely. The support given my vFairs is always excellent and that is why we continue to use them

Pros

This is our third time using vFairs and we are very comfortable with the platform. The addition of new applications is constantly improving, we particularly enjoyed the 'fun' applications such as the photo booth and treasure hunt. Simultaneous translation was fantastic for our delegates who are international

Cons

It may be helpful for other/future events to have a 'What to do if things go wrong' guide for users? As an administrator you do answer the same questions, log-in not working, browser difficulties etc

From technical and graphic design great experience. We value the support and guidance from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and team, always taking care of every single detail to solve and or implement. Valuable guidance from our account executivem [SENSITIVE CONTENT], to find better ways to work with the platform.

Pros

We had vfairs for our annual virtual international conference for 3 years in a row: feedback from atendees is positive in terms of firiendly, atractive features, great to have networking and chat experiences. Comments from sponsors are also positive given the booth design, easy to upload and download videos and documents making the availabe to attendees.

Cons

None specific, the software was reliable and friendly. Only the first time we implemented, there were somo tech issues to understand and solve, once we received proper training, no more issues to report.

Pros

This is our second year working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at VFairs. He makes the process easy to implement and responds quickly to any questions we have. The platform is easy to maneuver and it's fun to create the virtual booths. The platform allows us to collect student feedback via surveys and provides usage data for all attendees.

Cons

The Vfairs platform is easy to use form an attendee point of view. From an admin view, the software has what I need to create reports - sometimes I have to be more confident to poke around and try things.
