A great communication software that bridges the gap between management and their customers

Reviewed a year ago

The fact that Viber has saved our organization a lot of fund that would have been used on marketing and communicating our staffs and customers makes it worthwhile, easy messaging, video calling, sending all kinds of documents, and having been able to compare the data derive from other organizations to know customers wants makes viber a pleasing environment more than just a messaging app

Pros

First of, the interface is user friendly and with it's very capable end to end encryption which guaranteed a secured data both stored and transmitted makes this a topnotch, the video , messaging and even sending doc function comes with ease and it all works well in areas without strong internet connection.

Cons

We've once had issues updating and transferring of documents to another new devices but this was eventually solved by our engineer even though it delayed some important business of the day, but it happens just once and we eventually find a way around it

The best and easy to use Chat App

Reviewed 3 months ago
Pros

Groups are the very easy to create and effective to communicate with colleagues and customers in each project. Ability to transfer calls from mobile phone to PC or PC to mobile phone is a quite fantastic feature. Last but not least, My Notes is a very useful feature to transfer some of your data such as pictures, documents and videos from my mobile phone to PC (vice versa).

Cons

Although all of the features are free and useful, some Ads are annoying. And media and files that we sent can only be accessed within some sort of time period.

Viber has outlived its essence!

Reviewed 3 years ago

Used to be an app I could communicate with my buddies, not until all migrated to using other messaging applications, which offer greater satisfaction and doesn't show too many bug and fixes notifications.

Pros

A go to app when I wanted to message my family, friends and customers between 2015 - 2016.

Cons

I stopped using Viber because almost all my relations and customers switch to WhatsApp and Telegram, which has better features and don't lag unlike Viber. Messages delay in times when network is 2G. Features need to improved to be honest.

Awesome App!

It was amazing and genuinely speaking, I don't have struggles using this app to communicate with my team.

Pros

It is very easy to access, plus you can send messages for free. Every time I receive a call, the caller's name is always present even if I am not using the app. It is way beyond what I expect from an app.

Cons

None so far, I really liked the app and it is really worth it to use.

My experience with viber in business settings

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, Viber is an excellent forum for simple chatting. While it has some limitations, it is incredibly user-friendly. As far as I'm concerned, Viber is now one of the best options for chatting. I'm delighted to be able to use Viber to communicate with my friends and colleagues and conduct official business.

Pros

Viber is a helpful app for people of all generations. It establishes bonds between friends, family, and individuals. Viber allows you to share files, videos, and photographs in addition to messaging and calling. It facilitates the exchange of ideas and improves communication. People consider Viber to be a sharing app because sharing photos doesn't diminish the quality. It is beneficial for teachers, leaders, colleagues, and family to interact with a significant number of people by forming groups—Viber aids in the maintenance of tight bonds. Feelings can be expressed with the aid of stickers and emojis. Viber has several features that can help people communicate more effectively. It is simple to work using a cell phone number.

Cons

Viber has many benefits, but it also has several drawbacks. The file-sharing restriction. It can be hard to access upgraded Viber on some mobile devices. Getting old data back after reinstalling Viber is a challenge. Although we can share files, the size of the data we can share is restricted. For Viber's features to work correctly, it needs high-speed internet. Unknown people can often contact you via Viber simply by knowing your phone number. Viber has been updated from an older version, and it is hoped that it will be able to transcend its current shortcomings and continue to improve.

Complete Solution for Communication

Reviewed 2 years ago

my overall experience is good with Vibe as I mostly used it for our daily communications with the clients and with friends. it has a lot of emoticons which I used in conversation with friends. The only thing is that it needs a stable wifi connection which I have most of the time.

Pros

Viber is one of the best for providing text, call, and video call services and we can communicate to the whole world instantly. It's a free app with better sound quality in regular calls. Viber integrates phone address book and each time we decide to make a call or text it prompts the screen to call through Viber or mobile carrier. It has the option to share pictures that are on the computer and also the option of taking photos and can put text in images at the same time. it has a wide range of emoticons which makes our chats more interesting and more security options are available.

Cons

Viber does not have any option of call blocking so we can not block the call from an unwanted or unknown user. The quality of sound is reduced with low Wifi or 3g signals. Without a Wifi connection, we can not use Viber and we can call only those who are registered on Viber, and no possibility to call on landline numbers. When you registered it informs you immediately who has your number. Video calling is not good as other software. The files or images that are received are automatically downloaded and saved in our phone memory. It shows a lot of use ads.

My Viber

Reviewed 2 years ago

It's important to have tools that do facilitate you and not freeze on you or stuff like that, that I've experienced with other messenger applications. Most of my calls are made via Viber nowdays and I've even been in contact with doctors, teachers of my children and customers from all over the globe. I even erased the application at one time, when I bought a new phone, and after downloading it and requesting the back up history, I had everything on my new phone.

Pros

I've used Viber during the pandemic to communicate with loved ones and business partners alike, in so many and easy ways that I've completely replaced my main line and e-mail communication with it. It's a big communications operation room, where I have everyone of importance at the tip of my finger (or my mouse), making my life so much easier and my schedule stress free.

Cons

The only times I had a problem was when I used the computer version and my internet provider had problems of their own, since Viber can be used with an internet connection only. But even then, my smartphone saved the day. I used very few data and completed my task.

Viber

Reviewed 3 years ago

I love Viber for the fact that it was the first software that I used for chatting, photo sharing and making international calls to my relatives with viber, back then when calls especially international ones were very costly.

Pros

Viber is among the pioneers of chatting and audio & video calling softwares. It has a very simple yet pleasnet user interface. You can easily send text messages, photos, videos and files to your contacts using it. Apart from chatting you can also make audio and video calls to your contacts. Using paid credit in viber allows you to make VOIP calls to landline and mobile users anywhere in the world. It works equally well on all smartphone and computer systems.

Cons

I personally do not see any shortcomings in viber. Yet it somehow lost its pace and place in market to its competitors like whatsApp, either by not evolving aptly or due to poor marketing, which is evident to its now relatively smaller userbase.

VOIP & INT'L Texting Without Extra Hassle

Reviewed 5 years ago

My overall experience with Viber is the app is RELIABLE. I have had Skype and FaceTime fail me while abroad , but Viber has not. It's my go to international communication app.

Pros

Viber is extremely versatile in that it allows you to make free VOIP calls with HD sound quality. Furthermore, it allows you to text any number for free as long as they also have the Viber app. This is extremely useful when working with Clients abroad and you need quick feed back. Send a text, and it pops up just like a normal text on their cellular device. It also has a desktop client so that you can receive your communications without having to move from your workflow.

Cons

The developers do a great job at keeping the app up to date, but when that happens, certain notifications you have turned off are reset and you will begin receiving them again. For instance, I had the holiday notification turned off, a update happened, and I started receiving them again the following month. It can be a tiny bit annoying when you get a message notification and it's nothing important. Other than that, the app is great to use.

Viber Review

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

The advantage with Viber is the ability to call and text anyone all over the world at no cost. That's a plus to me, and It's very good to have such an ability in a time when COVID-19 is all over. Secondly, It works on 3G, this is a good advantage because even users still using 3G networks can use Viber and not be barred to only using 4G networks. Thirdly, the app merges with contacts on the phone to receive notifications or prompts on calls and texts from people. Last but not least, the app can be accessed on platforms such as IOS, Android and Windows. This makes it to be used on different machines, not only phones or tablets. The app is user-friendly, hence it's easy to use.

Cons

The app has a bug which is not good, it lacks the option for call blocking. We live in a world where people find amusement in pranking others and proceeds of online crimes, the option for call and text blocking should be available to ensure security for the valued customers. In as much using 3G is good for aspects of saving costs in terms of data, the 3rd generation network is really dated because...

review of viber use and working together

Reviewed a year ago

Viber is generally well-regarded as a reliable messaging and calling app that prioritizes privacy and security. The app's main features include the ability to make voice and video calls, send text messages, share photos and videos, and create group chats with up to 250 participants. It also uses end-to-end encryption to secure all conversations which is a great feature. Additionally, Viber has a wide...

Pros

One of the things I like most about Viber is that it uses end-to-end encryption to secure all conversations, ensuring that only the parties involved in a conversation can read or listen to its contents. This feature is very important for people who want to keep their conversations private and secure.

Cons

One of the things I like least about Viber is that some users have reported issues with the app's stability, particularly on older devices or with weak internet connections. This can lead to problems such as dropped calls or messages not being delivered, which can be frustrating for users. Additionally, Some users also reported that the app can be slow to load, which can be an inconvenience.Another...

First to the market was Viber

Reviewed 2 years ago

In general, my experience with Vibe was good since I mostly used it for communication with friends and clients. I used it to communicate with my friends using its many emoticons. However, I usually have a stable internet connection so that is the only problem.

Pros

Viber is my favourite app because it has an extensive global network of contacts. Using Viber, I can communicate with people anywhere in the world and enable instant communication with others. Viber is the best app for texting, calling, and video chatting. Viber is a free app with better audio quality in regular calls. With Viber, we are able to integrate our phone address book, and each time we choose to call or send a text, the screen prompts us to choose Viber or our mobile carrier. You can share photos from your computer, take pictures, add text to your photos, as well as share pictures you take. With it we have access to a wide range of emoticons that make chats more interesting, and it also offers more security features.

Cons

We cannot block a call from an unwanted or unknown user since Viber does not offer the option of call blocking. A weak wireless or 5G signal reduces the quality of the sound. In the absence of a WiFi connection, Viber cannot be used and calling only those who are Viber users is not possible; landline numbers cannot be called. After registering, it tells you with whom you can communicate. Compared with other calling software, video calling isn't as good. Our phone automatically downloads and saves the images and files we receive. Many ads are shown to us.

Easy Messaging and Calls

Reviewed a year ago

Viber allows users to send messages and make voice or video calls to other Viber users for free, using Wi-Fi or mobile data, a cost-effective way to communicate with friends and family and business associates. Pros

High prevalence of the application among business and private users in my region. You can conduct polls in group chats or individual conversations by manually asking questions and having participants respond with their answers. Allows you to hide certain conversations behind a PIN or password, which provides an extra layer of privacy to sensitive conversations. Synchronization on different devices.

Cons

Viber is a great software/application and I highly suggest it to everyone !

Reviewed 2 years ago

I have been using Viber for about 5 years, and I have not stopped using this application because I have a very positive experience. Viber is a great messenger, with many great features and it makes my life easier to communicate with my peers. Literally, it's too useful. It deserves a big thumbs up. In short, what I like most about the app is the "My Notes" feature. It's one of the best features I've encountered so far.

Pros

During the period of use, I noticed many things about this application: - Firstly, Viber is a free application, so it saves you a lot of money. And moreover, with this application, I can send multimedia files (photos, videos, location and audio). And it is possible to send a secret message to a user of a community, without sharing his phone number and it is available in 16 languages. - Secondly, it...

Cons

There are two disadvantages that I would like to mention about Viber: - The first: This app consumes a lot of battery in the Android operating system; and that's because the Viber app keeps the Wi-Fi enabled on the mobile even if you have disabled it. - Second: if you get photos and videos from Viber, it will automatically save this media to your phone's gallery. And this is not good because the free internal storage decreases significantly over time.

Viber is a really cool tool

Reviewed 2 years ago

My work demands my attention with all my clients and co-workers and I need a tool that is constant and does not present me with any complications when applying it to my work, Viber is par excellence the number one application that has supported us for a long time and it is always a pleasure to run this program, since it is very easy for us to access all the functions that this application has, the quality with which we communicate is very good and it complies with all the innovations that are fashionable in the market, without leaving behind its main function, which is to keep in touch with each of the people at my work, I can always express my conferences in video calls anywhere in the world regardless of the time.

Pros

I really like this application because of how easy it is to implement it and achieve its mission of connecting with all our contacts immediately and without complications, every time I am using this program the calls and text messages are safe and reach their destination without any problems. external complication, Viber is a really great tool that you can get for free on the market for the enjoyment of its users, for me it is a pleasure to use this program because its interface is very comfortable and fully meets all the needs that I demand, the quality of the calls surprises us a lot and we are pleased that we can have a free program with this level of capacity and technology, it is always very pleasant to maintain a conversion through this medium.

Cons

This program has to have a good internet source to be able to run without any inconvenience, we have tried to enter the links, but it can be a bit complicated and due to the infrequency of the internet it loses its quality that becomes a somewhat tedious experience , it is not as versatile as it seems, there is no integration of other applications and the fact that it is not well known complicates the citations of works by this means a bit.

Is Viber good for Business Communication?

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, I am satisified with Viber. No need to spend money sending messages or calling clients/partners residing abroad. International calls are rather costy, Viber solves this problem.

Pros

Viber is rather user-friendly, does not require frequent updates and expenses. Provides effective internal and external communication. File sending function is of great importance, you can share different formatted files, including PDFs, word documents, high definition JPGs which is helpful for a fast file sharing. Emojis are cool in the written communication where you do not hear the voice and tone of the speaker, they express the emotions easily. You do not necessarily have to use the app on your cell phone, you can install it on your PC or laptop as well.

Cons

The quality of video connection during the video calls is not the best. Definitely, it has a need to improve. When you are in a video call and get another notification on your phone, the video will disconnect causing a lot of inconvenience. When you send a photo and decide to delete it from your device, the recipient will no longer have access to it as well.

A particularly good messaging and phone calling app, but it lacks some features

Honestly, Viber is an incredibly good app, I use it almost every day to contact some of my friends who use it, but what I have benefited the most from Viber is 'Viber Out'. This service has not been found similar on any other site for the same price. Of course, it is a little expensive, but Viber is better than other sites that provide the same service, whether in the price of the service or the quality of the calls.

Pros

- Easy and good-looking app interface because of the presence of some attractive colors in the application and simple animation that gives the application a relaxing view. - The application is fast and highly responsive to the user. I think it is well designed and programmed because it is a light app, and it responds smoothly to the user. - 'Viber out' feature, and the ability to give the user a private...

Cons

- The prices of the 'Viber out' service are not uniform in all countries of the world, for example, to make a phone call in Egypt is much more expensive than making a phone call in the United States. - Emojis, I think they need to be improved and modified, I did not like their appearance very much, unlike other applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram. - Customer service is late in responding to support complaints. I sent them an e-mail, and they answered me two days later, which for me is a lot of time to respond to a complaint.

My go-to app for communicating with everyone

Reviewed 2 years ago

Viber is a secure and simple mobile messaging service that gives you the ability to communicate in real-time with other Viber users around the world. It also enables you to connect with your contacts through group conversations, voice messages, and video calls, while the Viber Out call feature allows you to reach people who don't have the app installed on their smartphones.

Pros

Viber allows its users to contact other users who have the same software throughout the world at no cost. Viber also offers a feature that WhatsApp, LINE and WeChat lack: it can reach out to landlines and mobile phones by paying a fee. Lastly, I would like to state that the service offers more features than other messaging apps, such as WhatsApp. You may opt for group conversations, Communities or Broadcast Lists.

Cons

In Viber, it is impossible to block unknown callers. When the Internet connection degrades, the quality of calls made via Viber suffers greatly.

Messaging & calling never been so easy - and free!

Reviewed 2 years ago

It's an excellent tool for communicating, sharing information, and holding meetings. Given that it is free, giving it a try will undoubtedly save you time. Overall, my experience has been quite excellent. Viber is a fantastic communicator with a lot of cool features. It gives me the ability to form groups through which I may speak with my coworkers and friends. Viber's emojis are also extremely nice.

Pros

If my family oversea has Viber, I can communicate with them for free. As most people are aware, international calling and messaging may be highly costly; however, Viber is free if both parties have the same product. Viber includes a feature that many other messengers lack: the ability to contact landlines and mobile phones for a price. This is a wonderful option to have if you want to utilize it. Last but not least, I'd like to point out that Vibe offers more features than most other messaging apps, such as WhatsApp. Group conversations, Communities, and Broadcast lists are just a few of the options available. So, certainly, they have a broader set of functions and capabilities.

Cons

You can't block calls from unknown numbers, which I believe is a crucial feature. When there is a terrible WiFi or mobile data signal, I despise it since the quality of vibers degrades and becomes sluggish.

After Skype, this was good but now it's the same unstable service

Reviewed 3 years ago

It can be a good chit-chat option if you want to communicate with someone, especially if that person is not in the same country as you are. It's cost-free. Not for crucially sharing information.

Pros

I am using it as a free line for private meetings and video chats. Most of the time I use only chat (typing) for fast connection with family. The messenger is good and has all the possibilities to express yourself. I like the option when I use default emoji to be promoted to use proper stickers instead (for free). Stickers base is constantly upgraded and there is something for everybody's taste for creative and fast chat messages.

Cons

Suddenly, without obvious reason, the app stops to inform me about received messages and give me missed call notifications instead of a ring. The application is unreliable for the mentioned reason because it is easy to miss an important message or call.
