1. WhatsApp is currently the one of the most popular instant messaging apps available for Android or iOS. 2. It has a very simple UI (User Interface) that is very user friendly to it's users. 3. Apart from its end to end encrypted messaging system. It provides users with the ability to make voice and video calls. 4.With the inclusion of the status feature WhatsApp has made itself a basic social media platform by allowing users to share posts with their contacts.

With the recent security breaches that happened relating to WhatsApp I was a bit concerned about using it but with its regular updates they are getting rid its vulnerabilities (few as they are).

Good chat experience, compatible across all mobile platforms and simple interface.

There are many in my opinion: - Backup Google Drive vs iCloud is a major problem in my case; - Lack of features; - Poor user interface; - Slower than the competition; - Poor integration across platforms

We use Whatsapp at work for communication between teams and it has been especially useful since we've had to work from home due to the pandemic. I like that we can send quick messages to the group without having to email or set up a team meeting and I like how photos sent get automatically saved to my device because it is useful to go back and view important images that have been sent

I think the quality of video calls can be improved. I'm not sure if it is my device that is the problem, but the quality of the images in video calls aren't sharp. But this is just a minor issue for me because we don't video call often.

A free chatting platform that can be used on your mobile and desktop both. It can be used to send videos, contacts, images, documents, etc. It surely is one of the most commonly used applications

False information is often spread on WhatsApp groups without any proof nor it getting verified by a credible source. Although WhatsApp has tried to curb this by restricting the forwarding number to a maximum of 5, I often get such misleading forwards.

I considered this the best messaging software for cellphones till the moment when whatsapp was bought from Facebook.

I'm concerned in how the software treats my private messages exchanged with the platform. The communication is end-to-end and should be secured. None the less also in the past attacks that allowed to read messages exchanged through whatsapp have been found. The acquisition of Whatsapp by Facebook makes me think that the company will use the messages and material exchanged through Whatsapp to target me with advertisments.

Its easy to use, has some pretty good features for being a free app, is very stable, works on just about any platform (Windows/Android/iPhone/Web), and is easy to setup and administer your own groups.

It is sort of dependent on the phone you first install it on (can't sign up without one I think) so if you switch phones or accounts alot, that might make things a bit cumbersome to manage contacts.

You are able to connect with people from across the world and be able to call them with no extra charges. You have a lot of options to choose on how you want people to interact with you, for example you can switch off your last seen so that people won't know when last you logged in. You are able to share files and other media stuff.

Big files are not able to be sent on WhatsApp so you have to find an alternative when trying to send a file that takes a lot of space.

Sometimes it crashes often on the pc and can get it self confused to where I am currently. Can be a bit slow opening

Whatsapp makes staying in contact with friends and family that are located elsewhere, very easy! Being able to access my messages both on my phone and through a web browser is a very nice perk.

When using Whatsapp on the web, the feature of rescanning the QR code to have access to messaging, refreshes quicker then I prefer.

This software is very easy to download and use right away. You can create a chat with your contacts very easily and have the option to backup your chat or not. It is a great way to share photos and videos.

Once in awhile random people will find you and try to spam you but it doesn't happen that often enough for me not to want to use the software.

Information is quickly and easily relayed and problems can be resolved quickly. the video call enables you to keep in touch with your loved ones as well

Nothing specifically that comes to mind. Perhaps the limitation on video statuses. Video call doesn't always work that well but may be a network issue

1) The simplistic interface with quick start-up (no log in) makes it the best communication app to date. 2) The "too good to be true" fact that it contains absolutely no Ads and no monthly membership is indeed true. 3) Used by billions of users makes it a standardised app that set the norm as the primary means or communication, whether it is messaging, voice calls, video calls or group meetings.

I have never let this section blank for any of my reviews so far. No matter how hard I try, I literally can't think of a single con for WhatsApp.

La qualità delle chiamate a volte è pessima ma per il resto funziona benissimo

Group size limitations. It has no advanced posting features, such as polls. Cannot speed up the playback speed of audio or video. The company cannot prevent misuse by robot users.

Group chat is most using for share information, and also call friends and chat with them, can share status.

Whatsapp has allowed me to safely and privately nurture a long-distance relationship for over a year now. I'm finally reconnected with my love and I feel that without Whatsapp for communication, we would never have gotten here.

The only things I would like improved are the image compression settings and maybe an allowance for larger video files.

Whatsapp is a more compact messenger than Skype with nearly all of the same features. The PC and mobile versions have both worked very well for me and all the calls, assuming there were no issues with my Wifi in my last residence (a fairly common occurrence), were crystal clear.It has never frozen up on me or caused any noticeable slowing on any of my devices.

The interface is sort of unattractive compared to Skype's, but that's a fairly small quibble. What's important is that it's functional.

You have to love the WhatsApp audio call and video call especially during this pandemic this makes it way easier to keep in touch with friends and family who are far away. These don’t even consume as much data this really is helpful especially under the new normal.

WhatsApp has native applications for mobile that are well maintained with consistent updates but the service can be accessed from any web browser or even your desktop or laptop with WhatsApp Web. The service is free to use and offers many other great features like groups, broadcasts, image, document and file sharing.

WhatsApp has provided me with a robust and consistent communication solution that has yet to disappoint me. No issues.

WhatsApp is used by everyone we have in our teams across the world and its utility for instant messaging in invaluable. Audio messages, videos and chat is used daily. The ability to search messages, its multimedia support, back up chats and voice calls are very good.

The voice and video calling quality is not the best, and multi user conferencing is not the best. Also when you call and a user is offline, it still rings and gives no indication whether the receiver is actually online to receive a call. This could be improved. We are also worried about adverts and insidious data collection that maybe occurring so security is a concern.
