I have been able to use it for active chats and instant responses with read receipts. I customized some important chats notifications and alerts. Also I use it for auto responses.
Alerts and Notifications is awesome as well as live chats and quick responses. Sharing of files is easy and allows you to share various files formats without changing the original format of the file or document. Video conferencing with WhatApp is cool. Also this software allows for integration of other businesses.
The product is cool, Easy to use and the operation is smooth. The aspect that can be improved is increasing the total number of people who can participate in a group and also in a group call.

I love that WhatsApp help you connect with people throughout the whole world, no matter their phone number and its free. I have created different chat groups for my employees, clients, and personal things too. I love the blue check mark to see if the person read your message. I love that you can swipe left and see what people in the group chat have read your message. Its really amazing. I love that you can name your chat groups different name and place a profile photo for that specific chat to differentiate between the chats.
I wish there was a way to upgrade the software to have group video conferencing through this app. that would be some next level stuff.

easy decent communications app that is free and available to all. used it almost my entire life but again , the phone number ID makes it hard like when a random contact WhatsApp you and their name appears as a phone number its almost impractical
that its free and allows international communication from mobile phone. I am an international student and I always use this to call my family. for some reason it is the staple in Indonesia where I am from, but the segment who uses it are adults. it also has decent functionality
I feel like using phone numbers as identification is too invasive, maybe have pins generated or custom IDs. also, it does not allow video calls on desktop app so I really think it would be great if they had one.

I like that WhatsApp has the ability for web-integration from a computer (when your phone is in range). Since I have an iPhone and can use iMessage from my MacBook computer, I am out of luck on my PC work computer for texting, so luckily I am able to send messages through WhatsApp on the web.
I like that you can communicate with people who have international numbers for free on the WhatsApp platform. It makes it easy to send messages and make calls to people in other countries without exorbitant charges and fees.
I don't like that you can't create a new chat or message someone if they are not already in your contacts. To start a chat thread with a new number, you have to first add them to your contacts list, which is an annoying extra step.

Overall, WhatsApp has functioned as expected with minimal downtime or offline status.
I like that WhatsApp is free and works on almost any wifi connection, no matter how slow. I work in remote locations and sometimes have limited access to cell service, WhatsApp makes it easy to communicate with my office and team.
I am not really happy that Facebook has acquired WhatsApp, especially with their latest issues on data collection and privacy. The software itself works well, but the association of the parent company is troubling to me.

My overall experience till now was absolutely brilliant but as I said before it could improve the video calling feature.
It has amazing features such as:video calling, live chat, calling and more.It makes texting fun and enjoyable.
I don't like the video calling feature as much because it always lags even in high speed internet and starts to reconnect.

My experience is extremely positive. There isn't really any negative point
I remember I started using mensenger years ago and it was the best thing ever. Of course it' now nothing compared to whatsapp, which brings people closer, it is indeed the best communication channel at the moment. It makes work easier and really keeps the "human" side, which is a bit lost with the remaining social networks.
I like everything about the WhatsApp. It maybe could be improved a bit with the addiction of video multi chat calls feature. By this I mean it would be good if in a group everyone could make a video conference.

WhatsApp is not revolutionary, but it does what it needs to do fairly well. And when everyone uses it, you basically have to, too.
In certain parts of the world, WhatsApp has reached critical mass. That means most people have it. And therefore, to be in touch with them you need it. Thankfully, WhatsApp is a good app. It works with your phone number so it's easy to add people, and it has good features like video calling, voice memos, and sending files.
It's annoying how it automatically saves pictures sent by family to your phone. You can switch this off, but then you have to manually download files. It's probably better for it to just delete old pictures sent to you unless you opt into keeping them.

Well, here's the advantage whatsapp is so popular. After their appearance to chat with someone, many features come such as groups, stories, stickers, and business tools. Before the advent of whatsapp business, users used broadcast and story for marketing. Moreover, nowadays there is a business whatsapp, certainly adds a professional sense of a business, with location map features, operating hours, and product catalog.
I think there is no shortage of meaning during the use of whatsapp. Maybe whatsapp and whatsapp business do not have signout options and since it was accidentally deleted, you need to reinstall it with a new security code.

Coming from blackberry messenger, WhatsApp was a natural extension of the blackberry messenger feature set. I use it every day, mostly for personal communications and not business. Some business associates are also personal friends and I may use WhatsApp to talk with them. International text communications over the internet and not via text message was huge back in the day. Now it's common place. Having the message shown as, sent, delivered and read comes strait from the blackberry feature set and is quite handy.
Dont like the fact that the developers of WhatsApp sold it to Facebook. I'd prefer to pay the $2.99 per year of the original pricing structure

It has connected us with our family and friends where ever they are in the world. I love using this app and will recommend it to others.
The best thing about Whatsapp that almost everyone has it installed in their smartphones. You just need an internet connection and get connected with your friends, family and colleagues. You can create groups or can chat individually. You can also have voice or video call with your connections. It is quite secure and without and ads. You can share pictures, videos, links and documents via this application as well.
Sometimes call get disconnected and also it occupies storage over time if you donot clear things shared on whatsapp.

I personally use whatsapp to send media n document with my friends and office mates. As we have created a whastapp group of our office so every one can communicate at one place. Location. Service is used to guide the location of office if some one is comming for the first time
We can share data with all the whatsapp contacts. Best application I have used to connect with friends and family. We can also see the story updates of our friends. Whatsapp is the most secure app because it is end to end encrypted. We can also share and track the location of friends. The user interface is vey friendly
Whatapp is very addictive app. If the music is playing and we have to send the voice notes first music will stop this is very annoying.

1. WhatsApp is currently the one of the most popular instant messaging apps available for Android or iOS. 2. It has a very simple UI (User Interface) that is very user friendly to it's users. 3. Apart from its end to end encrypted messaging system. It provides users with the ability to make voice and video calls. 4.With the inclusion of the status feature WhatsApp has made itself a basic social media platform by allowing users to share posts with their contacts.
With the recent security breaches that happened relating to WhatsApp I was a bit concerned about using it but with its regular updates they are getting rid its vulnerabilities (few as they are).

I think WhatsApp gets the job done in the end, but it lacks a lot of the features the competition has already had for years and it feels like it rests on the huge users base that rely on the service. But I messaging app has a lot to do with the number of users, users are not willing to try a new platform, so then WhatsApp is the most used and to me, that's why it has a very popular demand. It's not a bad app but it could be better in my opinion.
Good chat experience, compatible across all mobile platforms and simple interface.
There are many in my opinion: - Backup Google Drive vs iCloud is a major problem in my case; - Lack of features; - Poor user interface; - Slower than the competition; - Poor integration across platforms

It's been fantastic overall both for work and for personal use.
We use Whatsapp at work for communication between teams and it has been especially useful since we've had to work from home due to the pandemic. I like that we can send quick messages to the group without having to email or set up a team meeting and I like how photos sent get automatically saved to my device because it is useful to go back and view important images that have been sent
I think the quality of video calls can be improved. I'm not sure if it is my device that is the problem, but the quality of the images in video calls aren't sharp. But this is just a minor issue for me because we don't video call often.

I use WhatsApp for various things other than staying in touch with friends and family. I use it to video call people halfway around the globe. My previous workplace used it for updates or asking people questions. I have used it to discuss the progress of projects and when I require help with academics.
A free chatting platform that can be used on your mobile and desktop both. It can be used to send videos, contacts, images, documents, etc. It surely is one of the most commonly used applications
False information is often spread on WhatsApp groups without any proof nor it getting verified by a credible source. Although WhatsApp has tried to curb this by restricting the forwarding number to a maximum of 5, I often get such misleading forwards.

I don't like the software for security concerns, but it has become a standard of communication, so I'm forced to use it to comunicate with my clients.
I considered this the best messaging software for cellphones till the moment when whatsapp was bought from Facebook.
I'm concerned in how the software treats my private messages exchanged with the platform. The communication is end-to-end and should be secured. None the less also in the past attacks that allowed to read messages exchanged through whatsapp have been found. The acquisition of Whatsapp by Facebook makes me think that the company will use the messages and material exchanged through Whatsapp to target me with advertisments.

It has done well with coordinating contacts in different spheres. For example, it can be used to create communication groups from work, from family members, or friends, or other organizations you communicate with.
Its easy to use, has some pretty good features for being a free app, is very stable, works on just about any platform (Windows/Android/iPhone/Web), and is easy to setup and administer your own groups.
It is sort of dependent on the phone you first install it on (can't sign up without one I think) so if you switch phones or accounts alot, that might make things a bit cumbersome to manage contacts.
