Ease of use. Online database connected to website makes sending emails easy. Income report.
Wish list: Add expense for events. Ability to enter admission fee and actual income. In other words: Admission Fee = $50; Expense = $30, Net Income = $20.

1) WildApricot looks simple when you log in, the user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the layouts provided are modern and fresh compared to other platforms
1) I think the communication from WilApricot is usually pretty good, and the company does a good job of keeping people updated on new features. Sometimes I think there could be more updates to the features to keep things connected with the online world of plug-ins.

I worked many database programs trying to find one that suited our requirements, rather than we having to suit the database. Wild Apricot seems to do that with many practical functions and great configurability - the latter being a key point. We configure to our needs, not the other way around. I'm not a software guru but I've managed to muddle thru to produce a pretty good solution for our club that it is a real positive step forward. The odd time I've requested help it was forthcoming and tutorials seem to work. Now it's just a case of easing it in....
Very Configurable to meet our requirements and lots of useful features
Not real easy to get a handle on, takes time to get the results that you want - but it's worth it I think

Wild Apricot allows us to schedule classes, have members enroll in activities, and hosts our web site simply.
It's universality, it works well on every device, giving us instant functionality. I can find members, schedule events and make adjustments instantly, anywhere.
Sometimes I get lost doing certain operations.

I will have to think on this one. I guess - the price BUT, you get what you pay for.
Web page builder is not intuitive, lack of new features, poor customer service, no response to any of the registration action items that have been requested for YEARS. I could go on for quite a long time. We have used it for four years now and our team has had enough. I sent an email to them and it took WEEKS for them to respond. They have never made ANY upgrades to the software that are noticeable to the users in the four years we have used the product. They focus all their time on creating content to tell me how to run my organization as opposed to improving their product. They recently sent out a survey requesting feedback which I provided. I told them all the things I am writing now. Their response? No feature improvements but they are raising their prices! We are moving on. Unless you are seriously strapped for money, look elsewhere.

A lot of what I thought were their mistakes turned out to be mine. But many remain their's. Extremely slow loading. Lots of bugs. And even more opportunities to use it wrong.
For people who are clueless about technology, it will get you started and take care of a lot for you.
Very low ceiling for pretty content and functionality. Not comparable to a wordpress site. Can't embed videos in emails. Can make a nice looking website for 2005

I've looked at many others and nothing beats Wild Apricot for a professional and easy to use a system that has all the features I need. It is not cheap but it is definitely worth the cost if you want a good, reliable and membership system with the integrated website.
Great look and feel. Intuitive and well integrated Complete with invoicing and emails and website Continual improvements and enhancements Excellent help system and support
It is pricey but you get more than you pay for, in my opinion.

positive and pretty easy to use. At times, I can tell if a lot of people are on it or not based on the number sequence when I'm creating multiple events I'm doing. When fewer people are using it, it tends to work better so I will sometimes hold off if it's glitchy and wait for another time.
The ease of doing so and the availability to get support and training in a variety of ways - calls, FAQ, chat, webinars.
I often find it glitchy when I'm working on emails. In the notification area, I will often finish my notice and once I save, it leads me to an error page. Then, I have to navigate back to where I was and redo my work.

I selected Wild Apricot as the association management vehicle for a professional association that was trying to find a flexible and easy to use management integration platform. It has worked wonders. We have been able to increase membership, get our members to make all transactions through the website and we are able to make changes to the website without engaging an IT professional. Great cost savings!
I like that it is a one stop shop for association management. It is easy to use and you get so much for the money!
The interface for creating newsletters is not as robust as I would like.

We run a makerspace; a gym like a club where members get access to tools, space and other members with knowledge. Had a hard time keeping track of memberships with spreadsheets. Wild Apricot has allowed us to grow and allowed members to be 'self-helped' with membership renewals, class registrations, etc. Has also been easy to use and we are learning more and more each day. Really like how website pages can be expanded and added to. Easy to maintain website. Just starting to use API to download names and phone numbers into door control system to allow self-access to makerspace (no more trying to keep track of physical keys!). One item we're hoping for is the ability to add miscellaneous charges to members accounts to charge for laser cutter time and for material usage.
Versatility and ease of use.
Learning curve. Was easy to get started and grow, but we also have a lot to learn still.

When we first got the system, it was very comprehensive. We were able to get a trial to set up everything before we went live
There are two different mail systems/clients. Very fractured. Support is non-existent. There has been zero product improvement, in spite of multiple large price increases.

Incredible power house of a system and non-profits that need more volunteers can get creative and use this function to develop a web based volunteer force.
The Blog function has allowed our network efforts expand a national outreach capacity. Volunteer has become easier and with the economy, now volunteers can volunteer from the comfort of their homes. No more worries about the fuel to drive somewehre and volunteer. The post comments on blogs composed by Veterans that are part of our reintegration program. The blog is a very powerful tool and a nation of people are enjoying the leveraging of these efforts.
The function is under development to provide email updates and alerts when comments are posted and blogs are reviewed. This next update will catalyput an ever growing social network.

Customer Service, online support and chat are all very helpful and easy to use. Telephonic customer service hours aren't too long but the service is good. There are also great video tools for implementation and getting started.
Software has lots of features that we were not getting from our previous event management software. In addition, we get a member directory and membership management all in one program.
The learning curve for using it is somewhat steep, but once that is conquered you can see the true value of the software

Wild Apricot has very robust functionality. Whenever we think about something new we'd like to do, usually it already exists in Wild Apricot and we just need to learn about it.
It was tough for our group to get going initially. But we are a small group with not a lot of technical expertise. We also have trouble sometimes with getting postings to look reasonably consistent as far as things like spacing go. We have to fiddle with it, and still can't get it right much of the time.

I was part of a team that used Wild Apricot to set a system for managing and scheduling our volunteer team. It integrated well with the web portal we set up and enabled us to communicate well with our volunteers.
Tricky to get started with and not for the novice user. Some of the functions were not as intuitive as I would have liked.

WildApricot helps our all-volunteer alumni association share responsibilities for finances, membership, donations, communications, and website. Thank you for continuing to roll our features that make it easier for us to get it all done.
The thing I most wish were different is the formatting of text for webpages and emails. We frequently paste text from other sources, and the formatting of the apparently "saved" page does not reliably look like what we saved.

We use Wild Apricot to manage membership information at the Florida Railroad Museum. We capture member information - as permitted, send out automatic mailers, newsletters, etc. and even automate membership cards on new and renewed memberships. We also use some of the site PAGES for photo upload & posting, Procedure access, etc.. As with all this stuff, there is a learning curve (especially when you don't use the features every day) - but not too steep and the Apricot team provides examples as well as great HELP and Support. They are also very good at sending out notices, descriptions, features & fixes, etc. well in advance for all their software upgrades, major AND minor. How many of us wish other providers would do this - faithfully? There are many other capabilities Apricot provides that we have not explored yet - may in the future. Most important to us, because most of our staff and all of our "IT Professionals" are volunteers, is responsive and knowledgeable customer support -- and these folks have it!

No cons really. They are regularly adding and enhancing features so anything that might need tweaking seems to get proactively addressed before it's a real problem.

Once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to use; the overall quality and features & functions are excellent and being improved constantly; Excellent value for money and Customer support is the best I've experienced.
There is not much I don't like.
Because our group is generally in a minority with our type of use, we need to wait longer before some of the improvements we have requested, come to fruition.

I think when you want quality and need to get things done in a professional manner Wild Apricot is the way to go. They have a free trial. Try it and I am sure you will like it.
We were able to engage and notify our Membership, especially in the era of Covid 19, with such ease it makes it worth the while to have this software available.
We really did not have much issues. We have had internal connectivity issues by our service provider so we had a challenge with getting the technical support a couple of times.

It appears to cover all the needs of a non-profit - from financial to communication with our members. While extremely easy to use, as a non-techie, I am continually impressed with the live support I get when needed.
the only suggestion is that when conducting a search of the database of contacts, that once a name is archived that the system takes you back to the beginning and not where you left off.

Wild Apricot has made it easy for my team and I to manage all of our subscription customer in one place and has truly automated the process.
Once all the information is entered about a specific client in the system, all your work is done! From the moment you create the membership everything is automated and has saved us a lot of time.
There was definitely some time I needed to get used to using this software and I feel like there is also a leaning curve with most of our new employees.
