Overall it has been a real success for our organization.
Easy to design needed fields and build custom member database, easy for members to sign-in and register/pay for events, integrated ability for members to pay for events and their annual dues with credit cards.
Difficult to post photos and to post information about past events. Somewhat difficult to format text for upcoming events.

We use it for our organization to post information information.
The feature that I like the most is ease of use.
The ability to not have on-line forms to complete and having to use a pdf download instead

Truly grateful for their customer support - very responsive.
Hands down, customer support. They truly listen, respond and validate the consumer. They adjust as needed over time.
Can sometimes be clunky when trying to format things to post on the website.

We have much greater attendance at our events thanks to the automated (optional) reminders. We are able to cross post / advertise items easily and quickly!
Volunteers with no experience with this type of program or web site could use well within two hours of starting. The server is always responsive and fast. The customer support is amazing!
The sales team is slow to respond ( only an issue when upgrading or renewing).

We needed a way to keep track of a small organization (about 200) and it has proven a good choice
This software supports small organizations well with its search engines to find member names and addresses,
I would like to be able to make a report that includes memberships pro annum so that we can see how many members we had in the last 10 years for every year

Our organization has been using Wild Apricot for many years and as the times changes we are able to keep up with all the features most other websites are using. The website features and options are great, the membership, event and donation features are wonderful.
Even thought I started the use of Wild Apricot I found a thirty party company Site to be seen that could take my ideas and create a much better website than me. Using Wild Apricot. I could use them to do things in less the half the time it would take me. However, I can still make the minor changes if needed.
The only downside I see with the software is you have to be a pro to use some of the features. I am not a computer expert and I don't have the time to learn.

We switched to Wild Apricot for our community service organization, and it's been a great communication tool for our members. The home page is great, event info is easy to post, and email notifications are smooth. Love it!

Horrible. Awful. After four years, NEVER AGAIN.
What I liked most about the software was signing up for the account. They were very nice back then. Four years later - of making monthly payments - they change their policies now I can't talk to a human and have to wait for HOURS. Yes - this is still in the Pro comment section.
Their customer support is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any customer service group. Absolutely rude - and that's IF you can actually spend 2-3 hours waiting to talk to a chat box - not a human that you can talk to. The person on the chat is clearly working multiple customers at a time so you're never getting their attention. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE.

Whenever we have an issue or question, customer support is quick to respond and offer solutions. When the function we want is not part of the system, we are able to post our ideas on the community forum and if the issue is popular, the Wild Apricot team adds that new function into the system.
Easy to use. I haven't every been officially trained on the system, but it is very intuitive and the help section offers thorough step-by-step instructions.
Sometimes there are limitations on the functions but we can always recommend they add certain features, which is helpful.

Efficiency times a 1,000 plus effectiveness times 1,000
The primary focus is tracking members and personalizing them. This is made possible with the back end user field creation. It is simple, user friendly and improves strategies on what to create, track and respond to the member with less man hours to use, that promotes huge cost savings when you achieve more with less using the full functionality and power of the the backend
Two things, admin access has improved, but no option exist to disallow exporting members. This is a crucial consideration to manage and control member data. If a switch can be added where exporting is an option that would be great. Second is the forum or blog needs an option to screen a post prior to making it public.

Incredible power house of a system and non-profits that need more volunteers can get creative and use this function to develop a web based volunteer force.
The Blog function has allowed our network efforts expand a national outreach capacity. Volunteer has become easier and with the economy, now volunteers can volunteer from the comfort of their homes. No more worries about the fuel to drive somewehre and volunteer. The post comments on blogs composed by Veterans that are part of our reintegration program. The blog is a very powerful tool and a nation of people are enjoying the leveraging of these efforts.
The function is under development to provide email updates and alerts when comments are posted and blogs are reviewed. This next update will catalyput an ever growing social network.

We currently manage 4 associations using Wild Apricot as well as helping several associations convert to Wild Apricot. The software is very user friendly with well documented online help. There are several means to obtain customer support. There have been times when support was slower than we would have expected & needed at the time. The software is upgraded periodically during the year. Users have the ability to post wishlist items and help prioritize those items. Overall, the system has been a great option for us. I would highly recommend it!

As the treasurer of a non-profit club, I was spending hours per week composing, sending, and recording reminders for membership dues to the members of the club. Once we installed Wild Apricot as the basis for our web site, this time dropped to zero, allowing me to focus on the club finances. This is only the "tip of the iceberg" in terms of how Wild Apricot has made our web site better. Members can easily post stories and photos, we can send and archive our newsletter, our event calendar is more accessible, and all relevant club info is now easily accessible to the members. I don't know how we managed without Wild Apricot.
Easy to use and administer. Good cost/benefit ratio

Our small (650-member) association has been using Wild Apricot for about a year for managing our membership records and our events. We have been very pleased, both with how easy it was to move to Wild Apricot and customize for our needs, and with how easy it is to use -- for our all-volunteer organization of retired people, this is a must. Especially important for us is the very reasonable cost of...
