It does have some features built in that are easy to use, like the member forum. It also has some customizable features in the membership rules...if they work.

Solid for small organizations

It is easy to use if you are tech savvy. If you are not tech savvy, it can be overwhelming. There are tutorials and videos available and many of those are helpful.

Wild Apricot is great for non-profit membership, event and website management

It has helped coordinate the membership and the event planning.  It has saved hours of doing all of these things manually.

Easy to work with

We moved to Wild Apricot in 2012 and will never go back!  Each year Wild Apricot adds enhancements that give new and update features to keep us current.  Our membership has increased at least 50% from the time we made the switch.   There is no way our organization would have the volunteer talent to manage a website without Wild Apricot making it so simple!

Since starting with WA in 2012 we have more than doubled our membership to over 1400 members. Having the website, the paying on line facility and easy email communication has been the cornerstone of the success. Constant improvement by WA based on user requests is helping to make life easier, a great benefit for us volunteers!

This simple to use yet thoroughly developed site has been a delight to use for our non-profit.  We have a database of approximately 600+ contacts. We use this site virtually every day to post a variety of monthly events, capture contact data such as desired continuing ed credits, and specialties.  Further it is used to advertise the events and capture attendance and payments. We can then produce reports.  
One aspect I really like is that when we publish an e-newsletter I can retrieve information about readership - down to individual articles which helps us focus on our associates needs and interests. I just did brief research into e-newsletter readership to determine how we rated using Wild Apricot. We were well ahead of the norm.
Another aspect I like is that when I send multiple emails regarding an event, it does not resend it to the people who have already signed up.
If I ever do have a tech issue, or difficulty - such as modifying a page, their tech support is personal and right on top of the issue.
Can't get any better! I truly recommend this site to any non-profit organization that I know.

Exceeds all expectations

Our organization has been very pleased with how easy it is to learn and use our Wild Apricot site. Without extensive web design experience, we have managed to build a website that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate for both members and administrators.

Overall Wild Apricot has been a great addition to our Club.  It has streamlined a number of our jobs The implementation of on-line payment for membership and events has been positively received by the majority of our members.  The members of the club are thrilled with the on-line directory and many other features of this software.  We are very pleased that we have implemented Wild Apricot for our organization.

As membership grew to over 150 it became clear that we needed a better solution than Excel spreadsheet and trying to send emails to all our members through our personal or work accounts.  We considered 3 options and Wild Apricot was the clear choice in terms of capabilities, security, features and pricing.  We were able to import the data from that Excel spreadsheet and our membership database was created within minutes with amazing accuracy.

As a non-profit association of women in the financial services industry we are very hung up on cost/benefit, and we couldn't be happier - Wild Apricot is a very high value for the cost; we recommend them highly.

After three years in our 1400 member organization

Wow -- value for money!  For a small club with lots of potential to grow,  we are super thankful to have found Wild Apricot -- thanks to the Capterra review that provided us very helpful comparative with other AMS.  As most clubs, we are volunteer-run with not much technical expertise and not much time.  You will still need a good chunk of dedicated time in the initial set up process-- but what a time savings after that.   We're looking forward to maximizing use of the AMS. The combo of member management, donations, website, email marketing is simply great.  Highly recommended for small to medium sized associations.  The neat thing is Wild Apricot aims to continuously add more features.  The customer service is hands down one of the best.  The responses are super prompt and informative.  

Great AMS for a fraction of a cost - and easy to learn

We have 8 clients on this software and it's phenomenal. A fully-integrated system designed for ease of use. We manage the web site graphics and content, membership, contacts, events, finances, communications and much more. Great value for the annual cost which is cost-effective for associations. Very highly recommended by me and my team of "Wild Apricot followers".

A great association management software system!

We have a diverse and disbursed group of retired federal law enforcement with varying levels of computer ability.  We have found that Wild Apricot works better than we had expected and allows us much more flexibility over the range of matters faced by our membership.  We are very pleased.

I feel very strongly about giving a favorable review to Wild Apricot.  I am the Membership Chair for a small Friends of the Library group and the program provides all of the tools we need to manage our membership, send email blasts to members, recording donations to our organization, allowing members to register for our upcoming events, and all-around maintaining of our web presence (including allowing folks to join our group and pay their dues online).  The support staff is amazing and never fail to respond within 24 hours, and with explicit and easy to follow instructions - always in a cordial and polite way.  Wild Apricot is A-1.
