I can control my customers much better when they need help.
I like that I can Sort the unattended Machine by Customer. I also like that it does not use a browser to connect to the customer
Not Much- I think that they can work on the multi screen function a bit When there are multi screens the resolution is way too small.
Hi Jon, Thank you for your feedback! Have you already tried our new scaling features? Here's a short video that shows how they can help you adjust the size of the remote screen: https://youtu.be/NoryfEpF-CE For instance, if you're working on a remote desktop that has a much smaller screen resolution than yours, you can either scale it to window and then resize it according to your preferences, or choose the Optimal View option (this one automatically calculates the optimal settings based on your and your client's current screen resolution). Cost effective and fast remote control for unattended and one off connections........exactly what you need.
Simple and reliable as well as being great value for money. Slowly but surely features are being added such as the recent update to allow multiple remote control screens at once (previously you could have multiple connections, but only remote control one at a time)
Software doesn't support OSX so I'm forced to use Teamviewer for my OSX customers. Also it would be nicer if the app was also web based so we could use any computer to remote control etc without installing software, even if it was more limited.

Amazing consistency, fast, stable, can keep up for extended periods of time, can enable always on remote.
FixMe can do one off, or dedicated remote control. Simple, never have any problems.
Only con, file transfer is kind of weird, other than connection issues that are not FixMe issues, it worked every time.
Hi Jon, Thank you for sharing your experience and for being our valued customer! FixMe.IT allows to exchange files/folders via drag-and-drop, copy-paste, and the standard Send File button. You can find more information on the file transfer options here: https://docs.fixme.it/features/transferring-files-folders-and-text Could you please specify what you mean by the weirdness of file transfer? Or, if you are experiencing some sort of issues with it, please let our support team know (support@techinline.com). Best, Dan | Techinline

Great remote administration for a very reasonable price.
I like that the software tells me if the computer is in use, that's unique, I like the drag and drop file transfer, multiple connections simultaneously. Price is right.
I wish there was an app for my mobile phone so I can remote control on the go like LogMeIn for example.

customers that would normally be uneconomic for me to have due to distance from shop become regular customers
I have found it to be faster than other programs of its type even on poor broadband connections. It is easy to navigate no complex menus. Easy to customize with own logo and details for client installs. Ease of use for new customers (that is for them to login to website and download). Great tool for showing remote customers how to fix a problem they are having. File transfer also easy to use.
Not able to use on customers with macs. Also would be handy to have an option to limit customer control while you are logged on.

Remote control of client computers when I need it and no admin overhead of keeping up with the software at an affordable price.
I like that there is no software for me to maintain on my end. I just login and connect to my customers.

Fixme remote control software is easy to use and is very dependable product. I service approximately 115 PC's at random times.
Fixme Remote control software has one down fall in my option. that is it doesn't have a mobile app option which being an IT person would come in very handy.

Ease of use and it's features for supporting multiple displays. Addition of ability to control more than one computer at a time was a great update.
Wish they had a way to set it to low bandwidth so that high res background pictures would not attempt to send over slower connections or to tell it to not send so it improves user experience when bandwidth is limited.
Hi Ryan, Thank you for your feedback and for being our valued customer! To speed up a slow remote connection, you can specify image quality during Remote Desktop Control/View. To do that, click the Options button on the session toolbar and choose Image Quality => High Speed (displays the remote desktop as an 8-bit color image). Best, Dan | Techinline

Ease of use and reliable app. I can use it to take control of user's computer to resolve small issues when an in person visit is cost prohibitive.
Not compatible with Mac platform. I handle many Apple/MAC clients and have to use teamviewer. I have inquired about adding MAC capability and was told it would be added but no word has been given.

I've used several different screen control utilities in the past and most require a bit of configuration in order to get it going. This simply works. It is easy to use and intuitive.
Easy to use. easy to setup. I no longer have to worry about the upkeep of a screen connect service.
Any of the cons that I could mention have all been updated and resolved within the last 6 months.

Overall I've been with Techinline for over a decade and would recommend them. However it's been a while now since there have been any enhancements. It would be nice to know what up and coming features/enhancements are in the works.
The ease of use and the speed of connectivity is great. Love the unattended remote control as well as the customization for self branding. I've been a very longtime customer since 2010!
I would really like to see FixMe.IT span accross multiple OS platforms including, IOs, Android, Apple and so on. I also have been waiting for a feature that obtains a report of the client resources and retains them for offline review. this would also be useful when reviewing the unattended list of clients and having the option to bring in columns with those resources like memory, CPU, HD info and so on.
Hi Joseph, Thank you for sharing your experience and for being our valued customer! We listen to all the feedback we receive, and we do understand the need for more features, especially cross-platform support. With that, I'm happy to say that our new product is in its final stage of development and will most likely be introduced early next year (I'm afraid I can't share the exact time though). Some of the new features will include Mac OS support, User Management (the ability to invite and manage other users on your team), Remote System Info, as well as an improved GUI, with more features in the pipeline. Better overall remote management of my clients computers that work remotely.
I love the ability to send files remotely to my clients and how I am able to reboot the clients computer into safe mode and still have my remote connection to the client so I don't have to talk then through this process.
I really don't have anything that I don't like about this software but one thing that could be improved they don't have much control over is when I go to reboot a client sometimes it doesn't bring the computer back online.

I use this product to support my IT support clients. By using this product, I can usually diagnose and resolve my client's computer issues without a service call. This greatly improves efficiency and better enables me to plan and control my business day.
Cost effective remote support solution. Especially for smaller companies providing IT support to their clients.
A bit of software lag at times. I utilize gigabit internet speed and still have lag at times. Nothing too obtrusive, however.

Supporting software remotely has been generally great.
It is easy for the client to get support from us, and allows us to shadow what the client is doing on the computer, which is often all we need. Being able to share control without asking/revoking is great.
The thing that needs to be improved is to put a tooltip on the interface, so the 'expert' knows what the icons do.

Affordable, great for remoting into users PCs and troubleshooting. Able to remotely boot a computer into safe mode. Encrypted communication with User.
Easy to use and intuitive. Very useful for troubleshooting with it's remoting features. Prompts for a set time before taking control. Window for communication with user. Persists through reboots. Able to boot into Safe Mode. Monitors whether computers are online or not.
It is a very basic program with not a whole lot of features. Cannot customize the display columns. Can only view computer name, logged in user, activity, status, installed on date, and last connected date. It would be useful to have information about the OS, manufacturer, etc. A place to store notes about a device. Would love the option to add custom columns, mapped to WMI properties.

Ease of connecting to clients and their joy at my 'magic.' The ability to control their desktops, install if they need me to, uninstall if they need me to, reboot if necessary and then reconnect without the client having to do anything.
I can't think of anything the least bit annoying about the software. I like everything about this software.

It is easy to use, it is lightweight. No more fighting to control the mouse :) I haven't use the program up to 10 computers, but it is great even with 4 :) There were no lags while starting the remote maintainance of the remote PC.
No Mac users, no mobile support. No way to block the users input (I was talking about no more fighting but.. maybe sometimes is better to block the other side customer)

Fairly simple with most of the useful features anyone could want in a product like this. Lacks a couple of features the competition has, but those aren't critical.
Expert application only works on Windows, wish there were a version for iOS. (I can remote-control my PC from my iPhone with VNClite so it CAN be done.) Also, its easy to transmit a file from the expert PC to the client PC; there is no feature to do the reverse. Why not?
Hi Larry, Thank you for sharing your experience and for being our valued customer! There are several options to transfer a file from the client PC to the expert: 1) when running Remote Desktop Control, you can transfer files from the client PC to your own machine by using either drag-and-drop or copy/paste, or 2) the client can use the Send File button located in the top left corner of the Client Application. ease of use when it works.
unattended connections to remote computers often fail and we have to visit the machine or use alternative software to gain access to the machine (we feel we have to keep AVG Cloudcare remote control installed as a backup system - for clients that don't use our cloudcare offering it results in time wasting site visits)

I am generally able to connect to my customers computers to assist with issues and install software
On demand sessions work great East to install and setup remote clients Easy to organize accounts by company
No Ability to go cross platform ie mac No mobile ability The remote control agent doesn't work, well, sometimes gets eaten by anti virus clients/or disappears for what ever reason and you can't cut copy paste really!!! Their response is that's odd, just drag files...sorry to say that's a tedious endeavor with the spotty mouse movements.
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the feedback and for being our valued customer. We regret that you've experienced this copy-paste issue - this is, indeed, non-standard behavior of our application, which in most cases can be attributed to custom or advanced antivirus settings, or other 3rd party local factors that we have absolutely no control over. As suggested in most reviews here, FixMe.IT's file transfer feature is quite reliable and easy to use. Furthermore, FixMe.IT offers several file transfer options including a file transfer button and drag-n-drop, so our intent at the time was to provide you with a feasible workaround in case copy-paste didn't work with a specific client machine. I've been using for a few weeks now in my org and I have to say I <3 Fixme.IT over all the other remote admin vendor products we've used. It gets the job done, is super simple, doesnt need admin credentials to install the client. It just works!
This software is great! Remote Administration tool allow you access to a PC using a simple 6 digit code. Once online, you can remote control the session and do all the things you need to remotely. The best part is that you dont log out during reboot and logouts! You can see the login screen!
So far, I havent found anything too terrible. The layout could be updated. Thats about it though.
