A True LogMeIn Killer - a valuable and necessary service for any IT Support professional

Remote Support, Remote Maintenance, Unattended Access, Instant File Transfer, Shared Clipboard, Chat Window for client interactions.

Pros

The service provides instant protected access to client computers as a one-off support session, but also provides unattended access for ongoing maintenance and remote management. The clipboard functionality as well as the file transfer work much better than the default LogMeIn experience.

Cons

The only issue we occasionally have is some latency from some of the computers we support, but I suspect this is due to slow internet on their end.

Very easy to set up and log in

It is the best benefit for the customer they do not have to bring their PC into the shop and it helps us make money any time of the day.

Pros

We can brand the link on the customers pc, easy to log in, love the unattended access, very cost effective.

Cons

We an only do one session at a time, I would like at least 2 sessions for the money we pay even though it is a good value this feature would be great. A live chat feature with support might be helpful as well.

We had an old Bomgar device that died, and this service replaced it completely and for a very affordable price.

Pros

Easy to use, Works reliably, Nice reporting

Cons

There are a couple minor issues switching viewing and switching between multi-monitor clients.

Pros

The easy graphic user interface, included some great features, that help supporting our users.

Cons

The options, to revoke service still available for users , and they can remove the service at any time, it would be great, if you can take this option out.

Pros

The chat feature is also nice.

Cons

I do like the chat feature, but it only stays on the end-user screen while you are connected with fixme.

Regarding the file transfer feature, the remote user has the option to use the Send File button which can easily be found on the Client App interface. Besides that, you can transfer files back to your desktop during the remote session via drag-and-drop or copy-paste.

The rate is very reasonable for my small home-based accounting business.

Pros

Very easy to use, simple set-up on client side, simple dashboard interface, reports for logins & duration, remote reboot option, can set-up groups so all my personal computers are under one group and clients under another,

Cons

No remote printing capability, cannot blank remote screen, It would be nice to access my client computers through a website login for times when I'm not at a computer that has the Expert application downloaded.

Several clients allow me to set up unassisted access so that I can monitor/troubleshoot they systems without their needing to sit and watch.

Pros

The administrator dashboard and tabs make it easy to manage multiple sessions and navigate to use the functions necessary to assist my clients.

Cons

Some clients have difficulty navigating the interface and process when going to FixMe.IT to begin a session, especially for the first time.

It is Easy for the end user and technician to get connected, connection is stable throughout session

Overall, we are very pleased with FixMe.IT. The few cons I mentioned are not big enough issues for us to have a problem with the software, just minor cosmetic issues.

Pros

Software is priced accordingly, easy to use and install, easy to setup unattended support and/or start new sessions, and easy for end user to communicate through chat window during remote session.

Cons

The ability to navigate between multiple monitors on a remote computer could be setup in a more user friendly manner with possible left/right arrows on the screen vs having to select each display from the top menu.

Overall I've been with Techinline for over a decade and would recommend them. However it's been a while now since there have been any enhancements. It would be nice to know what up and coming features/enhancements are in the works.

Pros

Love the unattended remote control as well as the customization for self branding.

Cons

I also have been waiting for a feature that obtains a report of the client resources and retains them for offline review. this would also be useful when reviewing the unattended list of clients and having the option to bring in columns with those resources like memory, CPU, HD info and so on.
