I started to develop my small IT consulting business with remote desktop software’s help. This simple browser-based tool actually gave me an impulse to start my own independent online business.Please take a look at my page to see what I have as a result : http://www.ezsupport.biz/remote.html Clients just go on my website and get their Client ID and that’s it. That very easy for both of us. I was looking for secure,very easy in use (has to be easy for all my clients),cost-effective and functional software. Worked with Logmein and Teamviewer but found a cheaper alternative Techinline. Very reliable tool and may be the easiest that I found.

Ease in use, price is affordable, perfect alternative to all expensive professional products, necessary set of functions

Reporting the above case (user revokable unattended access) would be taken in consideration by FixMe and that’s the last we heard about it. (almost a year now)

Pros
Cheap and stable is the opposite of my ex so that’s a plus. Price -> Affordable per admin (unless you have 150+ unattended clients) Stability -> No downtime experienced Self updating client

Cons
- No OSX expert app - No Android expert app - No IOS expert app - No client app for the above either, but that’s clear when you buy. - Unattended client access can be revoked by the user without any hassle. (which isn’t helping if your client computers are used by schoolchildren) - For every 150 unattended seats you need to buy an extra admin license, whether you have more than 1 admin or not

Pros
Techinline has produced a Fast, affordable, easy to use, that satisfies most all of our tech support needs.

Cons
would like a less expensive option for simple basic client operator only users. The price is not bad but for small company with multiple field agents its a bit high.

Price Ease of use Reports I looked at several alternatives to ShowMyPC but most were too expensive.

Cons
Sometimes is not recognized by security software so it is blocked. I have had a few instances where it appeared we couldn't get it to work but that could have been end user.

I like the simple connecttion to it and the unattended access feature the most. It allows me to connect to my end users easily and quickly.

Pros
Fixme offers remote admin access to end points that are in the field and not connected to the local domain via VPN or other connection options. This is helpful for setting up and troubleshooting issues on end points. And it is much cheaper price than competitors

Cons
Sometime the local admin access for restarting as a system service is a bit wonky, its best to setup the PC and unattended access while on the local network to the domain and then kick the device out the door than trying to gain unattended access after the fact. Alsomany competitors have additional functionality to run scripts or gather data about a device in the background without the end user seeing, and Fixme does not offer that from the best I can tell.

Pros
The ease of use, support, features, price. Never had one problem. This software has all the features of the more expensive remote support software out there for a fraction of the price. And it's customizable to your business.

Extremely positive. Covers 99% of my remote work (1% is Mac). For the value and the consistency of connection there is really no other product that comes close.

It has been a good platform for us and has given us the ability to carry out remote support to our clients and connect to servers that we manage daily

Pros
It is reliable, easy to direct end users to install and connect, cheaper than TeamViewer.

Cons
Wider support for Mac OS, Linux, Chrome and Android would be handy. Very limited with windows devices only especially when many of our schools are going cloud based and Chrome devices are increasing in the education sector where tighter budget means cheaper and simpler devices are called for i.e Chromebooks.

Overall it was a great choice to go with FixMe.IT. I specialize in Windows Servers/Workstations so the product works for me. The app is not clunky and just works flawlessly. Everything I need in a remote support software is here.

Pros
It's fast and reliable. It's much better than a lot of competitors for a cheaper price. I like that no matter what screen size your connected to you don't have problems. I often have problems with GoToAssist where I need to end a session and reconnect, this has never happen with FixMe.IT. It's just a smooth system that works really well.

Cons
Would be nice to service Macs, iPhones, and Androids.

My overall experience has been wonderful. Priced right and so easy to setup and use.

Pros
I love the ability to view all users by office. I am able to see if they are logged in and if they are working or if the system is logged in and idle. Very easy to setup and user. Bandwidth is extremely low so I can actually help users on my PC connected to my phone hotspot if needed.

Cons
Honestly do not have any cons on the product.

I needed a replacement for LogMeIn and Rescue because of the price increases that they kept pushing through. I looked at other options and decided that FixMe was powerful and a great value.

Pros
Easy to use Does everything that I need it to do Great value

Cons
My only complaint is the inability to share access with other users. This becomes a problem when I work on a team or when there network services provider uses FixMe.

Pros
The price was right. We needed something to quickly connect to a client's computer that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Cons
It's not as bandwidth efficient as some other products. Some clients have slow internet and FixMe can be a bit laggy with them.

I've used this tool for several years now and find it to be a real-life safer for instances where my remote clients need immediate or after-hours support. I find it to be quite easy to use and intuitive on both the client and tech end. The ability to provide both unattended and ad-hoc support is also key and the feature-set seems to cover just about all the tools one would need. I previously used LogMeIn Rescue but that got too expensive, while this fits the bill and gets the job done. I would recommend this to any small ITbusiness such as mine.

Pros
price, simplicity of getting connected to remote clients, customization

Cons
currently no Mac support, but was told that this is planned for the future. I would also prefer Android support for those instances where I'm on the road and need to immediately access a client's machine.

Unattended Access, and the ability to have multiple connections going at once. It's easy to switch back and fort with a minimum of effort

It is cheap, it works consistently, and you can generally get it installed in any environment that is not highly locked down.

Cons
I would like to have screen privacy so I can remote in to home or a server and work without exposing systems. GoToMyPC was very fast. I would like to see the speed enhanced in this software.

1. It is cost effective to me the small consultant. 2. It saves me time and money consulting. 3. It helps the clients understand what I am telling them because I can show them just like I was on site.

Pros
The price for the features. I considered other products but they were too expensive for my budget. I use the unattended client feature at least monthly and save myself 125 miles and 2.5 hours of travel almost every month. It took me awhile to figure out the file transfer function ( I used the programs help library to understand it) from the client to me but once I did I use it almost every session.

Cons
I have had some client connection problems but it has been almost always the client not understanding their own virus protection product.
