Pros
We were always working with new product that come from great ideas, we need save more time in order to validate the ideas, and it was super great that Anima can help us to achieve that.
The responsive tools are great and the ability to build in certain functions such as text input, interactions, video etc. has helped us bring our designs to life and present them to our clients.
The breakpoint feature was great so that we can easily to customize our responsive design without learning and using media query (manually) like we used to do.
Pros
I had a fair few questions for support as I went along and they got us to where we needed to be which was really helpful. Love the stripe integration.
Easy to use and great customer success team that helps you every step of the way. Very useful templates to get you started.
Overall, I'm really happy I switched to Softr.io. The team are helpful and the simplicity is so good.
Cons
I find plugins sometimes dont work especially on the Figma side. I did get stuck in finding my way around the platform.
It is does not convert everything and still requires some hand tweaking--but because I did not create the HTML, this is more difficult than if I had started from scratch.
Some features arent straight forward. User interface can be at sometimes confusing.
Cons
I had trouble getting the user edit feature to work, but that was because I hadn't set permissions in the settings.
There's no way around it basically. It can be very frustrating but I guess that comes with most site-builders.
So implementing your product will be very fast but a bit constrained by the existing design. You can however rely on custom code to add a few blocks or features as needed.
