I love using it. I keep track of grades, tasks, blog posts, collaborators, and so much more
I have so many little projects going on, and this helps keep track of each one's disparate tasks and collaborators
The mobile experience is not as full featured as the desktop, so I sometime's can't edit the documents I want

I love the features of Coda that make it a one-stop place for storing my documents and processes. Using it for a various tasks like creating data tables, knowledge sharing and time planning.
Some disturbing UI bugs that do have their workaround but make Coda a little bit less pleasant.

Coda is definitely focused on transforming how people can do more with sheets. This is a strong advantage compared with Notion.
1. Sign in with Google 2. A lot of integration with 3rd party tools
1. More learning curve than Notion 2. The design becomes a little too heavy compared with Notion

Good experience creating a Company Wiki for a small tourism company
Ease of use, the free tier gives a good amount of features already out of the box.
No per-page permissions on free tier. Mobile app very slow, hangs frequently on both iOs and Android, development of mobile apps not very agile.

Make your own robust tables that can look to each other. Formulas allow you to do powerful data entry and formatting. Not just table but charts and calendars. And the development team is adding functionality so quickly!
There so much functionality that it can be a bit overwhelming. That said, I'm glad it's there.

Overall really useful. Use nearly daily.
Does what I've always wanted my spreadsheets to do.
Learning curve. Took a bit to get used to, but once I did it just works.

Found myself regularly wishing I could do more with it, hence decision to move to Notion.
Great little collaboration site with intuitive UX
But in all honesty, just not as powerful as Notion.

- I have been able to successfully use Coda in my daily work life because of it's high usability.
- The fact that I can connect my mail to spreadsheets, to project planner, to anything I really want as a tracking tool.
- Vast majority of applications available within one app. So very difficult to search for what is available. But it is negligible.

Overall, a clearer way to organize my thinking - and the future of online documents.
I've been using Coda for a month now, and especially appreciate the clean way to get down my thoughts, the clear organization, and the ability to use subpages. We've shifted a lot of our slide decks to Coda and found it easier for the team to digest. The code blocks for soliciting questions or using a timer are particularly helpful.
I still prefer Google Sheets to the Coda alternative. I think Coda needs to continue to do some thinking around why the Google Sheets experience - the horizontal view, for example, is much preferable.

It's excellent. The support is responsive. Coda has an excellent YouTube channel in which they offer many fun and easy-to-understand tutorial videos.
Versatility. It allows me to replace at least a few other web apps, such as Asana and Basecamp.
Some features can be tricky to figure out.

I love how flexible Coda is integrating into my existing workflow. With so many integrations available, it was quite easy to plug and play.
For some of the more advanced features there is a little bit of a learning curve which could be improved with more templates and video guides.

I love the idea of Coda, but I find it hard to use. Because of this, I don't use it mainly for my document management.
I really like all the features of Coda. I like that you can add so many things to documents (like to-do lists, spreadsheets, headings). I also feel like it is a great tool to track team meetings.
It is not very easy to learn how to use Coda. I have been on teams that have used Coda for document management but then have switched back to Google Docs for ease of use.

I'm doing software development consulting for a small team that uses Coda to stay in sync. I've only used Google docs before, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how well coda works. I had to implement a few Coda-integrations for internal tools and it all went smoothly.
It's fast, feature-rich, and looks pretty clean. I had to work on a few integrations with Coda, and I really liked their API.
I'd really like to see it become a "standard" for cross-company communication, kind of like Google Docs is, but hefty pricing would make this unlikely to happen.

creating a dynamic list of customers who have not ordered in a set (customizable) amount of time.
I was lucky to have a friend share her customized product with me. It helps bridge a gap in Quickbooks software that is an absolute lifesaver. Truly Coda was the solution I was looking for the past 3 years.
It's not the most user friendly and sometimes the customer service reps talk well above my understanding.

Coda is a great task management and tracking tool built for teams
I loved how you can simply copy and paste an excel sheet in Coda and bring it to life. Coda also makes it easy to collaborate and track changes done to a shared document.
None. Coda works for our intended purpose and this app has never let us down or crashed. It simply just works

You can embed videos, audio files, pictures, maps, social media posts, in a Coda doc. They have a lot of templates so you don't have to start from scratch. They have great videos to teach you how to use it.
The table-creation, editing and presenting process could be improved.
