Review of Syncfusion Products

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

Easy to use and excellent services with very fast helps.

Cons

It seems lack of unit tests to their products. For example, some correct Excel equations could be messed up for some reasons which may scare users.

Checking the licensing carefully, double check it.

Reviewed 2 years ago

But we lost a good money and time working with SyncFusion. Will avoid it like plague.

Pros

SyncFusion software is feature rich. Provides a lot of capabilities.

Cons

SyncFusion licensing is confusing to say the least. Also, it is not a perpetual license. You are at their mercy for renewal pricing. Consider this: If you want to purchase a hammer to fix a light on the ceiling, then be ready to pay for everyone who will get to read a book under the light. We wanted to use Syncfusion to build a small component in the application. Spoke with their licensing team and purchased a single user license. Spent a few thousand dollars to build the application in 2 months. Later, the licensing team came back saying we cant use the single user license and pay for the entire development team in the company (about 15x of single user license). May be it was a mistake, or may be it was bait-&-switch.
