Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
How GetApp verifies reviews
GetApp carefully verified over 2 million reviews to bring you authentic software experiences from real users. Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Overall, Jenkins is a big time saver. This means the team is able to do much more in the same time frame, by automating repetitive processes and focusing on actually important things.
After it's set up, it hides complexity beautifully. Saves you a LOT of time by replacing long processes with a single button press.
Requires dedicated administrators to be kept up to date. Jobs sometimes fail with no notification.

Like most other developer users, the maine usage is deploying feature branches to dev environments to validate the work done. Also we have configured end to end testing jobs that are triggered after deployments for quick regression.
Used in many organizations. Easy to find documentation describing how to do most actions you would need on a day to day.
The UI needs an update. It feels old and is not the most intuitive. Would prefer the ability to connect to repositories and selecting branches from a drop down rather that pasting branch name strings.
