I started using Sublime Text in 2010 at design school, and it opened a whole new world of coding for me. There may be cheaper or more powerful text editors out there, but nothing feels better to me than Sublime Text.
Don't let the simple interface throw you off: Sublime Text can do just about anything, as long as you're willing to spend some time configuring it. The free version is plenty powerful for most front and backend development, and the purchase price is acceptable if you need more features.
The initial setup of "packages" to get Sublime Text started can be a little daunting, even to simply start editing HTML or CSS. But there is a world of packages that you can connect to and install instantly, for free. You just need to understand how this works.

It is a really good text editing tool with support for advanced APIs, special functions and so many other features that help us write clean, readable and neat code taking full advantage of what it offers in our daily lives.
Smart auto writing feature of your function definitions that takes from the existing code when your number of code lines are huge with just one click. It surely is a friend for editing texts, programming using the color code options that makes it easier to program and debug saving time with a lot of shortcuts too. Even with huge lines of code, it does not slow down and offers a smooth experience. Also gives us the opportunity of taking advantage of external plugins.
It would be a great added functionality with an integrated code testing environment for each programming language to choose from. And the cost for this is quite high for just an IDE which could be a little cheaper.

During my past years, i was a student and a software developer which made me very close with sublime. I used the free version and the paid version, but all i have seen is that Sublime is a great text editor and from it, i have realized that it can be even the most efficient according to many other text editor softwares around but also when used with enough skills and great environment like good performing computer.
Sublime is a one of the world best text editor which i can recommend due to how it is easy to get and download and installation is very fast. when it comes to the prices, sublime have a free version which doesn't have limit during it's evaluation but only allowed to create limited project but the licenses are also at a very low cost. I used it in 2 years of university and when I was developing my final school website as project. Switching from one project to another and customized colors is one of the coolest features that you don't want to miss. have I said about it's API? they work very fine and give you ability to interact with other plugins!
Like all other software, Sublime also have both sides like not being a free software because, some users don't have the ability to pay for the license which may be a limit to their project. The other thing i saw is about slow working when it comes to dealing with large files all opened at once but i guess they will improve in next versions.

This is an amazing software which I use daily to edit codes and to format them. I like its simplicity and wide range of available functions. I recommend this software as I use this to edit and make my reports. In my opinion, it is the fastest text editing software I ever found, because surprisingly it opens the program quickly just after the click.
I like its simplicity of usage. As it is the fastest text editing software, the time consuming for a particular task is less and it can be considered as a time-saving software. It supports different varieties of languages in basic code formatting. It displays the highlights of the code by identifying the programming language and its type. It is one of the features that I love to use this software because...
Though I noticed a few downsides of this software as overall Sublime Text is the best editing software. It is unable to open two projects at once and it does not have a printing function for the code. The appearance of the troublesome popup message which asks to get the full version is really irritating. I hope Sublime Text would develop without these downsides!

Helpful text editor, very effective in light web projects or browsing files, very fast does not have bugs or crashes generally. May be it would be one of the coolest text editors if it was free.
- One of the first black background text editors - You can easily change your theme preferences like color, text font etc... - Extremely fast and light, it doesn't require a powerful machine to use it - Almost support all programming language without Updating or adding manually it's Settings. - A big extensions & plugin support that make your coding experience much faster and easier (like auto-completing, Emmett etc. ....) - Keyboard combination binding is so powerful, you can add a full code template within a second - the first text editor that stand out even if you open it 10 times and still be able to work with different files. - Great online support, well documented and can be installed in a very short time.
- Not a free text editor: unfortunately, all these features come with a price. As a developer, I find this a bit disturbing especially when you see other text editors with the same performance and the advanced features for free!! - You always have to search for how to install plugins and extensions, it's not really clear and sometimes it can be challenging to find the right plugin and how to install...

Sublime Text is a fast and easy-to-use text editor, ideal for developers and IT professionals. It is versatile and extensible thanks to its many third-party plugins. While it may lack some advanced features, this does not affect its overall quality as a solid and reliable text editor. I highly recommend Sublime Text for any text editing or software development project.
Sublime Text is a high-quality text editor that I used for two years as a web developer. What I like most about Sublime Text is its speed and ease of use. It is very easy to navigate and manipulate large text files thanks to its ability to open multiple tabs and maintain a buffer of opened files. I also appreciate the syntax highlighting, multiple cursors selection, and advanced search and replace, which have allowed me to work more efficiently. The third-party plugins are also very useful and have added great value to my experience using the editor.
The only drawback I encountered while using Sublime Text is the lack of some advanced features such as built-in debugging and version control features. Although these features are not essential for basic text editing, they may be necessary for more advanced development tasks. Additionally, there was a learning curve for me when I transitioned from using some other popular text editors to Sublime Text, as some key features were not available or were different in Sublime Text.

Sublime Text is a great IDE for almost every developer - it has a wide range of available plugins and themes, although it's not the best option available in my opinion.
Sublime Text has been developed for many years so it means that it doesn't have any "baby steps" issues and offers a wide range of plugins and themes, which makes it highly customizable for every developer type (as JavaScript developer will install totally different things from e.g. C# one). Its price is fair, and most important - you pay it only once and it's not a subscription-based software.
After using it for years I've found its development slowed a bit and didn't introduce really any significant upgrades/features. Meanwhile a new competitors has been created (Visual Studio Code), which fit better for my needs and offered more new features that was unavailable in Sublime Text.

Sublime Text is perfect when you need to find something or change something in the code in hurry. It allows smooth and easy to use experience. Pricing is great for all the functions covered under the hood.
It looks like a opposite things but Sublime is simple and also the robust code editor which provides some extended functions which make it close to IDE applications but it is much more smooth like them. The interface is simple and easy to use. You can choose form many programming languages supported for syntax highlighting. Under the hood Sublime provides powerful console where you are allowed to perform extended actions. For example code refactor or some code transformations are available. You can customize your instance installing plugins from repos.
Using the Sublime Text console can be a bit difficult and user has to learn how to use the actions.

Sublime Text is great for code editing and formatting , but not ideal for a full on project development. This has some powerful features and does a great job for what its meant to be.
Sublime text is an easy to use editor which I use almost everyday. It is also fast compared to other editors and it can manage large files without loading the computer and making it stuck. Since. I mainly use this to edit and format my text files, I find the search feature to be very efficient and fast compared to note pad or note++.It is also easily customization where we can have multiple themes, font sizes, fonts etc. as per we like.
It is not a free software that it has pricing. Its hard to use it for a full project development, but good for simple development works due to lack of features for development.

This is the text editor I first meshed when I was learning to code. It’s reliable, customizable, and makes coding much easier than other products.
There are products that are similarly priced or cheaper that have all the bells and whistles. Sublime almost feels dated in a sense that most things that are automatically packaged in other text editors are hard to find on Sublime. And it lacks the plugins others have.

Using sublime made it easy for me to scale my HTML and CSS learning from beginner to intermediate .When I wanted to begin with python ,it had all the necessary resources I required .
It is so versatile and has a lot of plugins that can fit your various needs as a developer . Switching between projects and using the maintaining your preference settings on various machine makes it resistable.
It lacks an inbuilt terminal . The default interface is not so impressive ,so one needs to use a preferred theme which might cost money in some cases .

Easy to use IDE with all bells and whistles, If you don't want to buy full license can get similar experience with Visual studio code.
This is the first IDE I've used to the fullest. It has easy to understand user interface, and does not include things which are not needed, support for additional features is usually done via plugins. Better performance than Visual Studio Code.
Supports only MACos no option to get it on PC, LINUX so if you are working with a team and some of the guys are using windows, they will be using other IDE. Also while it's license is dirt cheap you can not beat Visual Studio Code which price is free and is fully cross platform.

It improves and speeds up the work with the code - only this much, but also as much.
You don't have to wonder how to use Sublime Text - it's an easy-to-use tool that works great. It is fast and efficient, and easy to use. In addition, it has a lot of additional functions / extensions that allow even more streamlining of working with the code. I sincerely recommend!
Cons? Price. With all my sympathy for Sublime Text, I think it is a bit too high (especially compared to what the competition offers for free). However, I am still using Sublime Text (a long-term habit?).

Sublime was my fast text editor for many years. When I needed to edit a code file without the need of IDE features or when I needed to do it on a computer with low resources, sublime text came to the rescue.
I used Sublime Text for years, it is a tool that, unlike the ones that existed at that time, worked very fast. Today is still one of the lightest and most powerful tools that exists in the market and that would be the most interesting feature it has. Thanks to Sublime Text I met Emmet, the writing engine where you can do things like write in several sections of the same document at the same time, upload or download portions of code within the document as if it were a block. A powerful tool that you can customize, from your style of colors, thanks to Sublime Text I also knew Monokai, the color scheme that nowadays, years later I still use.
There are a couple of things that I do not like about Sublime Text and one of them is the reason why I ended up using another application. The first one is the pop-up message to remind you that you are using the free version and if you wanted to buy it. It is the most annoying thing that exists and appears every time you save a document a few times and to develop applications is annoying since you save the document about 30 times per hour minimum. The second thing that I do not like has to do with the evolution of the application. When I used Sublime Text there was no other similar one. But today there are many others that have the same characteristics of Sublime plus other features that I use a lot and that's why I ended up migrating to another application.

So far I have used Sublime text to write code for the development of systems and websites, and I thought it was an excellent application because it has greatly facilitated this task.
What I like most is that it is super light, particularly I have worked with other editors or development environments which are heavy and take a considerable time to open the files but sublime Text is very agile and fast. Additionally, it has excellent options for structuring and organizing the code in a neat and efficient manner, facilitating in turn the realization of processes for debugging, modifying...
Unlike other text editors, you must acquire a license for its use that although it is consistent with all the features and facilities offered, can be expensive for many people. However, it has a free trial version, in which you can evaluate the program and then determine if it is worth the investment.

Overall, Sublime Text has saved many hours of work that would have been required in other text editors. It is also great for programming, with most major languages supported via syntax highlighting.
Sublime Text is lightweight and doesn't require many resources to run. At the same time, it has everything that a programmer or data analyst would expect in a fully-featured text editor. It also has a large marketplace for third-party plugins and integrations that make it even more useful.
Licenses, while very affordable, are a bit cumbersome to distribute to employees en masse.

high-quality text editor that I used for two years as a web developer
Sublime Text is a powerful text editor that has many advantages, including its intuitive and easy-to-use interface, syntax highlighting, and fast startup time. It also supports multiple programming languages and has a wide range of customization options. Furthermore, Sublime Text has a powerful API and package manager, which makes it easy to extend its functionality.
However, Sublime Text does have some disadvantages. It is not open source, which means that users cannot access the source code and modify it to their liking. Additionally, it can be expensive to purchase, and its UI can be difficult to navigate for new users. Finally, it is not compatible with all programming languages

I wanted a light and easy to set up code editor with git functionality to work on a low-end configuration system. And so far I am satisfied with the purpose that it serves.
I love this product, it provides numerous skins that we can use to make our coding experience lucid. It supports multiple language features and its build. All you need is the environment set up in your system. I love the feature of auto code completion and boilerplates, these templates are really a boon for web developers.
The console for logging is very inefficient. The 'Build and Run' feature is not at par with the expectations. Sometimes while writing python code, after running, the console is not able to take inputs from the keyboard.

Overall, Sublime Text is a very reliable editor with more plugins than you can ever use. Just a short time learning a few shortcuts and you'll be cutting your workflow time considerably. And you can be confident that there's no document that will cause the editor to hang. Hard to recommend another editor unless you have a reason to go elsewhere.
If speed and ease of use are what you value most, then you can't go wrong with Sublime Text. There's nearly no lag, even with really large documents. Learning just a few key shortcuts also makes using the editor a breeze. Finally, a large family of plugins and customizable options make it so you can pretty much make it into whatever experience is best for you.
I think Sublime text is a great option for users that what the speed of VIM and eMACs, but in a more easy to use package. Sublime text's shortcomings come into view with some of the newer editor features like smart completions of function definitions, which it lacks.

Overall sublime text is best text editor for programming. It fulfills all basic to intermediate requirements so we are continuously using this from a long and my experience is overall good.
Sublime text is one of the best code editor in industry. The code editor is visually very nice, lightweight, easy to use. Its opensource hence free of cost. I user its dark mode which makes me very comfortable while using it. From dveloper perspective It supports various programming languages like Java, PHP, CSS, Javascript and code folding is also very easy. it made me and my life easy while we dont have to remember that which file is opened or closed, whenever we open system, we find files in same manner as it was left.
Sublime text is good editor with having good UI. Sometime we felt that for code debugging purposes it is not perfect and we need to add on like sublime merge. Testing integration tools also not available.

Firstly, Sublime Text is a really lightweight and speedy text editor that I use every single day to edit any text documents or simple scripts. Sublime Text has an incredible community behind it with there being plugins available for every programming/scripting language under the sun. It is great not only for developers but also for every day users who just need to edit a text file. It has a range of themes available so that you can customise it to your liking.
Unfortunately, like all things, Sublime Text costs money. You can use it for free indefinitely which is very generous. However after every 20 saves it will popup a message asking if you would like to buy the software. Personally, this would be fine if Sublime Text were a little bit cheaper, or had a deal, however, it is a little pricey in my opinion. Thankfully, it is a buy-once model as opposed to a subscription.

Overall, Sublime maintains the right amount of balance between functionalities and user interface. Not too much light-weight and not too much over-weight unlike other IDEs.
It is free of cost, User Interface is very smooth and highlights syntax, Unlike other heavy IDE, Sublime is lighter in terms of loading up and space usage on disk.
New features are being added timely as compared to other IDEs, And easy accessible inbuilt command prompt should be there. They should include it by default.

Very good experience with Sublime Text
Sublime Text is the lightest and very simple IDE out there. We can work with multiple projects on sublime text very easily. The load time of Sublime Text is very low and like this feature the most.
Auto saving in Sublime Text would be a great feature.
