AGB OnBoard is a board and committee meeting platform for boards and leadership within the higher education industry that comes pre-loaded with AGB trusted content. The solution helps transform meetings from operational presentations to strategic working sessions, empowering leaders to make intelligent and informed decisions using technology to achieve their institutions’ strategic goals. Key features include a board book builder, search functionality, notes and annotations, a dashboard, eSignatures, and integration with Outlook and Office.
The AGB (Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges) has partnered with Passageways to build AGB OnBoard with the aim of helping board committees to collaborate, prepare, and conduct meetings securely and efficiently. Included within the platform is a set of nine AGB books on best practices, and eight Board of Directors Statements regarding a range of topics including shared governance, fiduciary duties, accountability, innovation, and conflicts of interest.
AGB OnBoard’s board book builder tool enables users to create an intelligent agenda, set time parameters for meetings, invite and manage attendees, list speakers, and attach approvals and other key documents such as annual reports, corporate policies, bylaws, and more to each agenda section. Integration with MS Office means that users can take meeting minutes in Word and have them appear in AGB OnBoard instantly, as well as connect Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents directly.
Board members are also provided with the ability to search through notes and ideas, add comments and annotations to documents, and make changes to items at any time. All modifications are updated in real time and synced across all devices automatically. The dashboard is where users can quickly access their important and relevant board materials, as well as view upcoming meetings and announcements at-a-glance.
