The price point and features are second to none when looking at similar software and well designed. The diversity of CE's and the overall expertise in their development is keep in staff competency.

Lack of solid mobile platform can be a down side for more tech savvy staff. Reporting could be a bit more fluid and robust, but it does provide a decent amount of drill down.

Applicability to re-certification for my MLT's and MLS's, and a wide variety of coursework. The price is also attractive and can hold a lot of information that inspectors like to see.

The photos and information are very helpful in the learning process. I really like to learn about the materials prior to be tested on the information. The Compliance & CE is of greater value to study up for the ASCP exam, to give me better understanding of the material rather than memorizing the answers to the questions.

The only bad thing... is that there are not more modules in Body Fluids. I would like to see additional modules for Chemistry... perhaps Kidney Function Tests, Liver Function Tests, Endocrine Tests, Cardiac Tests, Blood Gas Tests, etc.

I love that there are endless amount of CE courses are available as reading and tests.

Not being able to have a default of showing certain dates and being able to change and save it to show every time your on the home page instead of always showing all courses from the lifetime of the account.

Wide selection of courses; easy to manage users; relevant content; courses are challenging; the value for the licenses is outstanding, which allows us as an employer to offer high quality CEU opportunities to our staff.

Microbiology modules are lacking. Engine that enables customers to make customized courses could be a little easier to use.

Ease of setup and cost. Also updated when the law updates. We are also able to control trainings that we issue and set up automatic retraining updates.

I would love a little more research lab centered trainings rather than health care labs. This as cause a little on usage for us as we only do the OSHA trainings for the most part.

The program was easy to learn with some practice. It was easy to make corrections unlike other emr software

The price was a little high for the software in my initial thought but with all that comes with it my mind was quickly changed.

Helps you get ready for inspections and stay compliant. Makes safety and HIPAA training easier. You can print reports and show inspectors training that has been completed by employees. Takes care of document control, for all your procedure manuals, eliminates writing and filling out forms. It's web based, and you have access to manuals and procedures even from your phone.

Uploading documents can be confusing in the beginning, need training first. People complain that they get a lot of emails reminding them to complete tasks in MediaLab.

My favorite thing about Medialab Compass is that you can designate which CLIA elements of performance a particular activity satisfies. I also like that it is self-service. My users can log on and manage their to-do list and make sure they have everything ready for their annual competency. As administrator, being able to run a report to see who has upcoming due dates at a glance is very valuable.

I wish there could be a slightly different price structure. I would like to do glucometer competencies, but right now, it is hard to justify the price for that many users that will only be doing one competency per year.

I like the availability for students anytime, anywhere; the automatic evaluation give the students immediate feedback for increased comprehension; we use these grades in our courses without having to review them ourselves, saving time for classroom activities.

Purchasing for groups between 25 and 50. For my academic use, I need ~30. On a tight budget the bump from 25 to 50 users is significant. If after 25, if option for additional groups of 5-10 would be helpful in reducing cost for actual number of users needed.

As an administrator, I like being able to track employee progress, send new assignments, and have all of the documentation in one place. The administrative features are very intuitive and easy to use.

Making custom modules can be a little tough to master at first, but I am glad it is a part of the program. It adds a great amount of flexibility to our educational offerings.

I love how many questions there are across all MLS disciplines that expose you to a variety of challenging questions. It also is a great hub for organizing CE's.

i like that one can monitor and manage usage of employees. The software is easy to use while tracking work progress.

I'd like to see more content related to molecular diagnostics and Next Generation Sequencing and possibly introduction to bioinformatics since this is up and coming forefront of personalized medicine. Also, the price has jumped dramatically over the last 2 years.

I appreciate the diverse selection of webinars to chose from, it is worth the membership to have so many selections to chose from.

If anything I think the price is a little high, maybe it would be a good idea to have membership to last for four years that way it covers two license renewals.

Ability to add and assign custom learning modules providing content that is meaningful for our site. Also aids in compliance with regulatory bodies.

Some content is more pertinent to US than Canada. That being said, I am able to add custom modules that are more pertinent

I love the variety of topics and the depth to which each one delves. I enjoy the courses that stack aka add complexity as they progress. These are great courses for beginners and seasoned professionals!!

I did not like the mobile app. It was not easy to use despite its lack of complexity. I had a difficult time navigating the site at first but customer service was excellent and was able to set me on the right track

Courses were affordable and right on topic each time. There were questions within the courses that helped you to visualize the workings of the item studied.

Some of the photographs of cells were not clear enough with my old eyes and even with glasses and expanding size they were hard to decern characteristics. Other wise, excellent courses.

We enjoy the diverse range of modules available in MediaLab as well as the extremely reasonable price.

Often the function of the software can be less than intuitive and sometimes difficult. Batch uploading, naming, and editing could be much more efficient.

There are a variety of courses. You can do ones that only take an hour or more in depth courses that require 5-6 hours.

There is really nothing that I can think of that I dislike. It is easy to use and logging in and out is no problem. You can stop a session and pick it up at a different time. I have no negative comments.

This is a simple, cost effective tool that allows our employees to meet federal regulatory requirements. I do not know what we would do without it! The thing I like most about this software is that adding users is very simple. The program will even automatically assign login credentials. Also, the record of previous users is quite helpful.

The thing I like least about this software is that clicking on "print certificate" doesn't take you directly to print screen. Instead it refreshes the screen and you must click again before going to the print screen. It is a small inconvenience that could be easily remedied.

The only con I can think of at this time is the availability of new material each year. I would like to see totally new courses and material when appropriate.

It is much needed for certification. It is always available when I need it. It keeps up with your classes.

Having to add the course. Too many clicks. It is really expensive for my budget and unfortunately I only use it when my certification is due every three years.

I like that I go at my own pace, can start and stop as neeed and test at my convenience! I can do it all at once or spread it out over time.

I dislike the price change! Inflation however is inevitable. Otherwise I cannot complain. This is my go to platform

Power points and very well put together and provide a lot of explanations as well as illustrations.

I believe the cost is slightly high. I need these courses for continuing education so on top of annual dues having to pay a lot for CE courses adds up
