Pros

The overall quality, ease of use, features & functionality of blackboard make it a great software for college students and college campuses to invest in.
I really like the fact you can easily create teams, conferences and add users very efficiently. The sound and video quality are really good.
I like that students are able to get the immediate benefit of connections with their instructor & classmates with the flexibility of being at home.

Pros

Very positive experience - any successful business would find significant efficiencies and opportunities by moving to 365.
I love how secure the platform is, the software is easy to navigate. I love the fact that it is accessable worldwide.
We utilize all that the product has to offer on a daily basis and are quite happy with the product. It helps us manage our business better and provides the tools necessary to communicate effectively.

Cons

The support was horrible, most of them are salesman and when they redirect to the specialist at the end is openning a ticket because they do not know neither.
Uploading finished assignments were a real pain. The documents videos needed to be no more than a few.
No direct integration for download the record of use you need to use api to get this information. We had a problem with the LTI the integration started to direct any group to the same room.

Cons

This is the sort of thing the hard drive resident application never struggled with. Conditional formatting layered up is the sort of thing that causes problems.
Sometimes i get logged out and have trouble logging back in. This is very rare but can be confusing and upsetting as everything is on there.
I hate, hate, hate, hate the fact that you cannot install each app on its own. It is pointless to force people who only need Excel or Word to install EVERYTHING.

Pros

I love how easy it is to get together with this product. As an instructional designer I always look for tools to get people together without actually being in one place. This allows my students to be in a classroom but in the comfort of their own office or home.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to access with certain browsers. Some people have issues using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

Pros

Very user friendly software apt for students to do online courses. Also works well for classroom discussion, virtual sessions and taking tests. Classes can also be recorded.

Cons

The learning curve to get used to the software features is longer compared to google classroom and microsoft teams.

Blackboard allows us to collaborate with external users easily.

Pros

It was very easy to use, especially for someone with no prior Blackboard experience. It's pricepoint for each license is very reasonable as well compared to other collaboration platforms

Cons

The platform is web based and is not optimized for all browsers. I tried using the platform in Microsoft Edge and it froze regularly.

The general experience is that Blackboard Collaborate is a solid tool for collaboration, team and file management, and communication in video conferences.

Pros

Blackboard Collaborate has a broad range of features and comes along with high customizability. The video conferencing is very good, also in comparison with competitors, such as "ZOOM" and "Microsoft Teams".

Cons

Ease of use and ease of development is lacking. Moreover, the then even more necessary customer support is not always as available as needed and responses solving an issue can take a while. A clearer and simplified design of the overlays could tremendously benefit these issues.

Basic, old-school software

I use Blackboard Collaborate daily and have learned to use its functions well for my class. It was not easy to learn, and it frequently has technical issues that disrupt learning.

Pros

I like that blackboard works well with Microsoft Power Point slides and that allows users to collaborate with chat, microphone, and board tools. I also like that it allows recordings to be made.

Cons

This software is difficult to learn to use well and is NOT intuitive. It frequently crashes at our organization, which impacts student learning. You cannot record in breakout rooms which makes small group work a challenge. It does not load Google Slides well which limits the other software one can use to create the slides.

Your Blacboard virtual classroom integration

The overall experience of Blackboard Collaborate is compliant and straightforward because as I said it does not have many features or differentiators against its market competition, it is simply the blackboard addon to take online classes or virtual meetings, its stability also characterizes it but from there on out, it is a pretty normal platform, and very easy to use.

Pros

What makes collaborate stand out is its stability when it comes to virtual meetings, of course depending on your network is what determines your experience during the meeting of course. Another thing is that in my case, being still a student, the collaborate is already integrated into the class in a section where either the teacher creates the icon on the left bar, or you simply go to the blackboard tools and you can find there the meeting you want to enter the entire course you have. The platform is designed for you to join immediately so if you are in a hurry, the software will take care of that and help you with that.

Cons

I didn't see many disadvantages of blackboard collaborate when it comes to taking classes or having meetings with my team when planning projects, since it is a virtual meeting software that complies but is quite simple, which does not have many differentiators out of the market. It is quite reliable, but for some reason, my teachers prefer to take better classes in Microsoft Teams because they feel it has better and more features than blacboard collaborate.

Was reluctant to switch over to a subscription model but feel it's definitely worth the money and am very satisfied with Microsoft's direction for Office features.

I like all the different programs. I like that i csn use excel for math and Word for writing. The programs work well independently.

Cons

I can collaborate with people easily

Pros

I can work from anywhere! I can access my documents and files from any device, my phone, my Surface, my PC, it doesn't matter. Furthermore, I always get the newest updates, which means that I do not have to wait until I can use the newest features.

Cons

Nothing I like everything about it. I would recommend it.

Office 365 is an amazing tool for SMB's and large corporations to share and collaborate within teams and work on documents at the same time. Microsoft Office offers a complete package of different tools that enable/ foster collaboration and sharing across people. Sharepoint of filesaving and knowledge management, Skype for communication, Yammer for poll creation, Microsoft flows for automation and the list goes on and on! Highly recommended tool!

Cons

One thing that I don't like about the suit is specially related to Microsoft teams. I wish it was possible to collaborate with external agencies and freelancers who don't have the paid suit. This would help us in using one single tool for everything. Because of this shortcoming we use Trello and Basecamp to collaborate with externals!

Cons

The software can have a lag which causes changes to sometimes be missed & not sync - this has happened a few times and is extremely frustrating.

We've been using Office for so long everyone is comfortable with it, and it has the most features compared to online services like Google Docs.

Cons

We've had problems with documents that multiple users collaborate on where we will get conflicted copies. Wish it was more seamless like Google Docs.

The full suite for the organization

It’s the main tool for the office and is responsible for most of activities in the office. Automates most of the daily works, allows the teams to collaborate and get the job done.

Pros

Includes many tools for every day use in the office. All apps are also web based so there’s no need for local installation. All users are connected to the same services and use the same apps which makes integration simple.

Cons

Profile management is somewhat cumbersome. As long as you collaborate with users inside the organization it’s easy, but integrating with users outside is not easy.

office 365 is a great program and we will continue to use it as it supports our business.

Pros

i'm sure all businesses use microsoft office in today's technology driven world. office 365 makes our business run a lot more efficiently. we love outlook and all it's features. it's also great that oulook can integrate with a ton of other programs, making it easy to get things done all in one place.

Cons

it can be very finicky with sharing things: permissions, visibility settings, etc. this has sometimes caused a delay in work flow trying to collaborate with team members.

Pros

The ability to use the Office 365 anywhere has been great for our productivity. Also, like how well it integrates into our overall MS ecosystem

Cons

It took a little while to get SharePoint configured (we use a 3rd party for this). Administering it can be a challenge.

User no longer need to attached files to email to share the document. Just share on the cloud. This will save a lot of local PC storage

Pros

Office 365 has great features compare to previous or desktop version of Microsoft Office. User can use both offline version (desktop) and online version (cloud) with the same price. User can collaborate with other remote user all over the world without worrying about sending or sharing the file via email. The best thing is Office 365 offer huge amount of storage per individual account.

Cons

Microsoft need to include other office software together with Office 365, for example Visio and Project. This will make it easy for user to collaborate further remotely

OneDrive Plus Office 365 is a Winning Combination

Office 365 has allowed us to collaborate much more effectively and streamlines our file backup system. It allows us to have access to office software anywhere anytime and give us much better file back options.

Pros

I like that it's available locally on my computer as well as online. My files are available wherever I go and it comes with OneDrive so I never have to worry about losing my files again.

Cons

It's a little confusing to share files and setting up another user is a bit difficult. I would like to see an easier way to collaborate with others.
