I think LearnDash is the best LMS plugin built for WordPress. You can create both free and paid courses. In my view, LearnDash is the go-to option for creating online courses if your website is built with WordPress.
They are always updating and improving the product.The builder is extremely easy to use and set up.Automate workflows.Good integration with 3rd party extensions
At the time of this review LearnDash doesn't offer and free trials. For additional functions you might add-ons.

I had a small support issue, related to a builder that I was using, and both companies worked so awesome together to resolve the issues. This involved Learndash installing the builder, replicating the problem, and even going through the source code of the builder to share a different approach that would resolve the issue if implemented by the builder. Frankly, these guys/gals rock!
I love how easy the software is to customize and integrate into other systems such as woocommerce and membership type plugins.
I really do not have cons about the software.

LearnDash is fairly easy to use, although we had to go through youtube videos to fully understand how to use it. LearnDash is great for internal training courses (i guess for selling courses too, but can attest to it). We tried to use it for 360 type feedback, but the exams are not designed this way, so tests can only be directed to the enrolled student.

Its nice to know that regardless of the ask, the LearnDash customer service team is there to help you through your issues. Thanks again!
The ease of integration and the width-and-depth of how robust you can make a course is really appealing. Its nice to know that most everything we were looking for from a course presentation perspective was already built in.
Assigning students to a specific teacher by course could be clearer and could use additional knowledge base info to it. The customer support was able to assist in pointing me to the group features to start with.

The addon is easy to use and allows me to combine one lesson with several courses. I found it very easy to switch my content from Learnpress to Learndash.
I didn't have any particular difficulties, the documentation and support allowed me to use quickly the software.

It looks good. It has a few options you can change.

The user interface is very good. As a course plugin goes, there are not many that can match Learndash.
It is quite expensive and a little limited in some areas. Also, it is just a LMS and needs another plugin to really help it (such as memberpress). However, with memberpress having their own courses, it questions whether you should purchase learndash or not.

Creating courses is easy as it is the same dashboard as in any WordPress website which makes it all pretty convenient. It's user-friendly and quick.
You need to know more than just the basics of WordPress to be able to use LearnDash.
