Very essential for handling large numvvers of students.
Can set up any number of classes, lessons, assignments, and receive up to date statistics easily. Some features aren't extremely intuitive but it is worth working with them to make sure the experience works for everyone.
Could do with some streamlining. It is feature dense and sometimes a bit overwhelming. Things like edmodo don't need sign in and were simple.

It was good overall, but I prefer using moodle instead.
Was good for following assignments when learning in an online course. Also good setup for contacting the instructor efficiently
Some functionality is not as advanced as moodle, so moodle appears to be better set up for online courses

Actually, the classroom management features really great in here, but the real time notification a little bit bothering.
The LMS system really good. The classroom management really good.
The real time notification need to be developed more so it doesn't need to refresh anymore.

Overall, this is a good product for basic LMS needs, and worked for me in the beginning. After playing with a number of LMS apps and continuing to revamp my needs and redesign what online learning should look like, other LMS might just offer more in flexibility/features.
As is the case with most LMS apps out there, Edmodo does a nice job shifting from paper-digital, and giving students and teachers a platform to help manage and stay organized in the digital space. The fact that you can do a lot with the free platform is a big plus and educators Everything updates in real time, and is simple enough to put together your digital needs in one space.
To me, unlike some other LMS apps out there, Edmodo is limited. It doesn't have the modern or sleek look and design as others. It also doesn't have as interactive capability to embed a number of other apps/tools that teachers use daily into it. This is a must have when it comes to the digital classroom space. The more we can limit sending links and have one program integrate everything else into it, the better classroom management will be. I would also like to see some integrated features like virtual chats/video conferencing, and more enhanced lesson design features.

We use in in different classes for group chat, blogs and idea sharing. very instructor is responsible for the course design and students use it to communicate on hot topics.
Now that there is a main LMS within the university, Edmodo is used class-based. That's why, it should be user friendly for each instructor and student to design and it is.
It does not provide a lot of features as other LMS. The blogging feature is the strongest one though.

Really great product. We will most likely keep on using it once we go back to school.
Very easy to use. We transitioned from no LMS to Edmodo and all parties felt pretty good about using Edmodo.
Users (students) have had difficulties logging-in frequently. They also have faced challenges when trying to submit assignments. Teachers have had difficulties trying to change the assignments' date and time. It just sometimes feels "glitchy".

Edmodo is a very versatile online hosted LMS and free. I highly recommend giving this a try.
I was surprised by the LMS structure and reviews. I don't think another LMS with this type of UI exists. All the LMS have old school UI and they are boring to use. But with Edmodo, it's a really good experience. I just uploaded my lessons with required files and that's it. No more file linking all can be uploaded directly to the server. Edmodo is similar to a social media site that we are used to but for education. I really like how this makes parents see their children progress and keep track of their study.
It is perfect for me as this helps me to get started for free. But as it is very similar to use social media some teenage people can get distracted.

I like the way the content is brought to life with Edmodo. Unlike its opponents like Moodle or Google Classroom, it makes learning more motivating especially for younger learners.
System can be busy at times and Ads can be annoying which is a downside for being a free app.

Overall, I've had a great time with Edmodo. The program, in my opinion, still has a ways to go before it becomes a standard component of learning management systems. It is very underrated even though it is user friendly and easy to operate.
Edmodo is a truly enjoyable, interactive website that facilitates communication between professors and students. I appreciate how simple it is to post updates and how open it seems. Edmodo enables you to upload assignments in a professional manner and engage with students with ease. Students can access files through attachment and finish a variety of homework. Teachers and students can easily communicate with one another. A post for the future, for sure.
There are some features this software is lacking compared to those LMS many students and teachers use. There are some glitches that occurs while using the app.

I've used several LMS over the years, (mainly Moodle)and the current school I'm in is using Edmodo. I got up to speed in less than an hour - its ease of use is a major strength, but don't go thinking it's lightweight as a result. Good grade tracking, and a Facebook-y UX that teenagers (and others!) get straight away. If you're looking for value for money, or are an organisation on a limited budget, I'd come here first. No hosting worries, active community and simple user experience for teacher and student.

I used this software when tutoring my students in multiple subjects. It helped me collaborate with other tutors and tailor lessons to each student.
This is an online learning platform that allows teachers, students, and parents to collaborate and create custom made lessons for students. It's like combining Dojo, Moodle, and BARBRI all in one.
It may take a little practice to get the hang of the software. It has a few moving parts because the software has so much to use!

It allowed me to give visible rewards for work.
The kids liked being able to interact with each other. They also liked the badges and rewards they could earn.
It didn't seem to mesh well with the required LMS that we have in our corporation. I also found management of assignments to be cumbersome at times.

Fairly easy to use, once students are familiar with the software they are able to complete assignments, even if distance learning!
I've always really enjoyed Edmodo, but my district uses another LMS, so I am unable to use Edmodo at this time. I have had no complaints about it though.

Edmodo can be a good tool for an individual teacher, but with new LMS systems out there, its potential for distracting students can be a true drawback.
Edmodo can be a good way to communicate with older students and families. It allows for real time updates and its similiarity to facebook ensures a known platform.
Edmodo can be too much like Facebook and promote a social media outlook that distracts from being used as a true learning platform.

Like Facebook...but for school. Edmodo is a "social-media" type platform that is easy to use and offers a variety of features from standard interactions like messaging and status updates to assessments and other LMS type scenarios.
Edmodo has too many ads. I understand that they are a necessary evil, but it is still annoying. The mobile version seems clunky. The platform seems to be geared toward K-12, a strictly higher-ed version would be nice.

I like Edmodo because is an innovative LMS which has helped a lot of students around the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is free and it has ensured that everyone can have access to education.
Edmodo is one of the best LMS in the market. The platform is very easy to use, and the interface is intuitive. What I like the most about it is that teachers, parents, and students can interact with each other in the right place. I strongly recommend it.
Edmodo integrates a lot of useful functions however for some users would need a lot of time to get use to the platform.

The best thing about Edmodo is its price. A lot cheaper than most of the best competitors... For me and most of our colleagues it was really easy to use, for both teachrs and students. We specially liked the managing and supervision tools to stay connected with the users, retrieve data and evaluate.
The thing we didn't like is that its a web based LMS, so you need to stay connected to internet in order to use it. Other than that... Its all good! In general, I believe that some of their competitors are taking advantage on features and overall quality.

Edmodo was an option we moved after trying one another LMS at my workplace. And we have been using Edmodo for like 2+ years now. Students find Edmodo very easy to use, as it is more like a social media. Would definitely keep using it.
The reason why I love Edmodo is because it includes many useful features of virtual learning system all in one application and it is absolutely free. The students can perform multiple activities / assignments, they can keep a track of their grades, student-tutor communication is very easier on Edmodo, and the even more loving reason is students can re-watch the past classes too and a forum for all students to interact.
I am not able to see who are the students who are online. This would be an added advantage.

It works for what it is, but other programs seem to have a smoother look and feel to the experience.
Edmodo does provide a way to communicate with students and organize assignments in one place. It allows for some editing techniques - bold, underlined, etc. It has a quiz features with multiple types of questions.
Edmodo still seems somewhat limited when compared to other LMS programs. For example, there is no option to use highlighting and font colors to help steer students' attention to key things in assignments. The overall look of the page seems cluttered and navigating the page is somewhat clunky as is creating quizzes and assignments.

I had a course under the moodle platform of one of the Universities where I work, and the platform was out for a long time. I had to use EDMODO to not delay with the activities and evaluate with the needs of the debt during the established academic period. EDMODO saved me.
Through this educational software I can be in contact with my students, it is easy to coordinate the activities and evaluations to consider, and to keep an evaluation control up to date.
Edmodo sometimes it makes it difficult for me to rate open-ended questions, therefore the scores are affected if there are errors in that part. Since, It is more difficult for me colocate the badges.

The program is extremely easy to use and even has a parent log-in and student log-in. Since it follows the same pattern as Facebook, many students navigate through it with ease.
It's very hard to put multiple courses and students in the software and track them, as well as their grades. Additionally, it is a little difficult for students to go find assignments they have missed, etc. We tend to use it more as a communication tool rather than a full LMS for this reason.

The experience I have had with Edmodo is very pleasant, since I have been able to create a learning space quickly, with varied content and in addition to organizing different courses at the same time, also being able to add by mail to all the students or by the course code. I really recommend it.
Edmodo is a web platform very easy to use, with the features of a blog, but with modules with features of an LMS, such as taking students' notes, making tests or exams, allows you to maintain a communication between students in an asicronic way and also to place or link any type of teaching material from pdf to videos from youtube
The only thing that Edmodo for being a web platform, is that it can not have some facilities to add certain modules with functionalities, which allow it to be coupled with other software. neither does it have a chat or way of communicating with students among themselves, in a synchronized way or by private message.

It's better to use a more commonly used UI for my LMS and as social media is just what I need Edmodo is just the right choice for me. I am using the free plans and this is just fun. No dull UI to deal with and more enjoyable experience for my students.
I need to make a small tutorial on using photoshop and another image editing tool and found Edmodo has a lot of good reviews and feature that I need. It's free and does a very good job. Everything is cloud and does not need any effort once setup is just what I need. Sometimes training a new member is so time-consuming that I have made some basic video so I don't have to tell every, new team member,...
Well, social media is a two-way sword and sometimes I get complaints about its too easy and distractive.

Edmodo is a great LMS for al ages. If you can use Face book you can use Edmodo. It is free, no adds and it is safe for the kids and the teachers. You don´t find everything in Edmodo, just what you really need and that makes it easy and strong.

Overall, it's beneficial, especially during COVID-19. These days, online classes are a big part of our lives and Edmodo makes this process easier and more organised. And it's effortless to use.
From the first year of university we've had online classes, my university used Edmodo as an LMS. As a student, I also took so much time at Edmodo. It was easy to track all your lessons, exams, quizzes and tasks for students. Also, attendance tracking, task tracking and communication with students were so much easy for lecturers. It helps to organise all online sources
It was really slow sometimes, but it could be because of the university's servers maybe.
