Sandbox is a cloud based childcare management software solution that primarily caters to the needs of daycare and childcare centers. The product enables business owners to manage their center operations by helping them automate functions such as recordkeeping, payment processing, managing attendance and handling communication with the parents. The product offers separate pricing options for daycare centers and for pre-schools.

Sandbox has an inbuilt administration module which offers role based authentication for staff to see only the authorized information. It also enables staff to access emergency contacts and allergy list of children in case of emergency. The Time clock module of the solution enables easy tracking of staff attendance and the check-in / check-out details for students. The online registration module enables parents to register the details of their children on the portal through a web-based form. This helps them in receiving timely updates of the activities of their children through newsletters and notifications. The automated billing module enables the creation & delivery of automated invoices for parents by tracking their payment schedules. It also allows automated debit of payments from parent’s listed debit or credit card. The reporting module of the solution enables users to create ad-hoc reports about enrollment trends, projection reports, allergy lists and detailed financial reports.

The Sandbox parent portal module enables parents to keep a track of their child’s activity on a daily basis. It will also help parents to manage their account details, print receipts & invoices, and pay invoices online. The product partners with childcare organizations across North America such as Winning Kids Inc. and Association of Day Care Operators of Ontario. Some of its key customers include Salem-Kaizer Preschools, Family and Youth Inc (AmeriCorps), Clubhouse Cadets, Goleta Union School District, and Upper Canada Child Care.

Overall, very pleased with the software...the biggest time saver for us is in invoicing and billing...saves time, easy to use, quick to process. Record keeping for family profiles is also very good and easy to use.

My childcare runs smoothly and I have access to all files all the time! I would like to use it more but I have Hi Mama for programming for my educators. it would be good to have this as an access in sandbox. I really love the look of the program it's it so simple but has covered many administration issues for me.Sandbox is a very good software company The customer service is great, the product is very user friendly I can access it from any computer and do my work anywhere
