Academic works has provided me with the confidence that my students are getting some of the best help they can to find scholarships.
I have missed updating dates in the application from year to year.
Making changes is super easy and the ability to add notes is great. Customer support is also excellent.
It can be hard to track where scholarships are in the process.
I love the ease with which you can create and modify applications, the post-acceptance feature, and user messaging abilities.
The Reviewer portal is a bit cumbersome. Our departments scholarship committees find it difficult to use.

I found the software easy to use once I was familiar with how it is organized. Reporting was good and support was absolutely outstanding.
I also struggle with the inability to capture one invoice for one registrant. If you can pull a concise financial history report, why isn't there a function to pull a concise invoice.
Our organization highly recommends Learning Stream for anyone who wants to streamline online registration and save time and money. It is a great bargain for all of the features it provides.
Navigation for end users registering for classes, the back button can unknowingly result in strange errors occasionally.
The support team is also amazing and can help you find new solutions whether via new specialized developments or currently available add-ons to the platform.
There is actually very little that I dislike about Learning Stream after exploring other similar software.
We love the reports that Learning Stream has built in. It embedded into our website seamlessly and works very well with authorize.net.
Problem issues are typically solved in a relatively short order, but there is not a live support desk to turn to.
She's very professional, knows the product very well, and is always willing to help and make suggestions. She is great to work with.
Ease of seeing how much revenue is being received for each course. Courses can be easily copied for ease of setup for future courses.

They truly believe in helping us engage with our students in a meaningful way and are passionate about bettering their products to assist us.
During the implemention, it took a few weeks for us to really see automation start to work. The bot would often say "i'm not sure," which was annoying.
The quality, ease of use, features and functionality of the bot make it all highly effective.
However, as someone who has been with them since their older software, it is difficult to get caught up with the new features.
I like that we can personalize the chatbot to fit our mascot's personality. This really helps the students be able to connect and identify with our school and mascot.
It was a very difficult time, but I feel that Coop (our Chatbot) was able to be there for our students.
The ability to send surveys has been extremely helpful in making data-driven decisions, especially throughout the global pandemic. The system itself is easy to train end-users on.
Thus far we have had an overall wonderful experience.
The customer service is stellar and the actual AI conversations are highly atuned to higher education. Our students enjoy interacting with the chatbot - both for enrollment and retention purposes.
Working with Admithub has been much more like building a friendship than a client/vendor relationship.
The AdmitHub team is constantly looking for ways to improve the product, and they actively solicit user feedback to ensure updates and features are what the user community needs.
It handles the bulk of student questions and allows for a lot of customization. AdmitHub is easy to use, didn't require laborious set-up and constantly offers improvements and new features.
We get responses via AdmitHub campaigns quicker and with response rate compared to email or print. It's a vital part of our communication stream to students.

We are just getting started with DegreeSight, so I don't have anything yet that I'm unhappy with.
DegreeSight has created a quality product with great customer support. Satisfied with my experience.
It was overly complex in some situations and made things difficult to find or to figure out how to use.

Nothing overall has been negative. I appreciate all DegreeSight has done.
Overall I think it is a great tool and the more integrations they bring online the more useful it will continue to be.
So far there hasn't been anything that we don't like.

Users are getting comfortable with the system quickly, and with ease, and the system is allowing us to improve efficiency of our processes in many offices.
The interface for managing permissions is also very clunky and sometimes confusing, requiring double negative logic to understand what a permission is doing.
The user interface is fairly clean and intuitive for the most part, and training has been very simple to accomplish for most of the end users - particularly for students and faculty.
Once I posted the financial aid of the student, I could not delete it anymore if I happen to make a mistake. I have to make another entry to negate it.
Reports are easily accessible and customizable. This is such a great feature for the Registration Department as we need accurate statistics immediately.
An example of this is syncing Campus Cafe with Canvas LMS- students who withdraw or drop would sometimes sync with Canvas and other times it would not. So there was that inconsistency.
The ability to also customize webpages, email notifications, triggers, courses as needed gave us the power to be more flexible and creative with how we focus our energy and time.
Our work is now more streamlined and time we spend on projects and validation of record accuracy has been cut in half.

Being a not so technical person, I found this system user friendly and easy to access and familiarize with.
I've had great experiences with this software so far.
They are very responsive to building out new functionality in the system, and do so at a reasonable cost.
It was intuitive and easy to navigate, so I was able to quickly find the features and settings I needed.

Their support has been great in helping me with any issues I have, and that has been very few and far between.
Notifications that uploads have been unsuccessful are a little too subtle - meaning that you can miss it if you are working quickly (as we so often are during board pack creation).
The Board is happy with the software, it is user friendly, displays well on computer, tablet, or phone. As an admin I am happy with the support whenever it is needed.
Sometimes the icons are confused and even when you created a page, the icons inside this page are weird.
OnBoard has been great for our Board members and all users enjoy it. Great communication tool, very easy to use.
The video I could see and hear was choppy and hard to follow. I was unable to log in from my portable devices, and when I thought I was logged in, i could not be heard.
Also, the agenda is super easy to build. And it will be terrific to have all the board documents from our meetings saved on the portal and accessible at any time.
I'm not sure that it is an actual con, but, the permissions are a little confusing to me. I will set up meetings and resources for my boss to tell me they are not in OnBoard.

I like that I can text hundreds of students using my laptop rather than my phone. Students are more receptive to texts than to email so I love that I can use a more reliable form of communication.
Example of user error: We recently sent out a text that went to the wrong this. This was in large part due to miscommunication.
The customer support team is wonderful, fast, friendly, and extremely efficient and competent. I loved it when I started using it, and they just keep making it better.

SignalVine has improved our outreach to our students and their customer service is outstanding.
I also find the fact that I have to work with Word Documents back and forth odd (feels cheap)- I would think there could/should be some sort of form submission with required fields to set up a text.

I have over 30,000 students in the program and to search one student takes way too much time because their search tool is absolutely broken.

The best thing about Destiny One is their extremely responsive support staff. I have only been using the product for a little over a year, but have had a great experience with their support staff.
We wish there was a way to delete files... in the rare instance the wrong file is uploaded, you're unable to delete (unless this has changed).
Easy set up and management of courses and certificates, notification automation, customization for approval workflows and permissions, reporting and robust dynamic help.
You have to buy the archive database. The lack of CRM has forced us to push json notifications to a CRM platform.
Destiny One had a significant impact on our department's efficiency and growth. The team that supported our project was outstanding.
Some modules are old and clunky, and almost useless (Marketing, for instance).
Strong links from all aspects of a clients' info in the staff view is really useful and the ability to keep annotated comments related to the client linked to the staff author is also useful.
Documentation (particularly training videos and documentation for brand new users) is lacking. API documentation is inconsistent and contains errors.

The reporting abilities of the system are outstanding and the customization options regarding querying the data are simple yet diverse and abundant. The customer support is amazing.
Customer service is poor. Lots of promises to get things done quickly, but we've had to wait months for simple changes and were given attitude about it.
They have outstanding support for any issues that may arise, or help with training.
Being a web based product it eliminates any costly server infrastructure. STARS is able to handle all our school processes from lead aggregation through career services/placement.
Query function is very helpful to build "customized" reports. Customer service has also been great to assist in building queries to fit the schools needs.

It has been good, and I would highly recommend it over the previous system we used. I like most of the newer features and believe it will continue to get better over time.
Nothing is intuitive, it's extremely hard to change or fix a mistake on an assignment if you make a mistake, grade syncing with our electronic gradebook is very glitchy.
Canvas has a great overview page and is nice that all of your materials are in one place. I appreciated that it was the main form of communication, document location & even some quizzes and tests.
The parent canvas app is confusing and difficult to navigate. It is hard to discern what assignments are due to strange naming structures.
The overall experience during my last two years of undergraduate school was very pleasant and I sincerely hope that I encountered this software again in graduate school.
As a parent, it was difficult to understand where some items were but I feel that was user error and not the platform.
The Graphical user interface is pretty good and visually appealing and the color-coded course help differentiate it from other courses. Timely updates to the participating courses are also helpful.

Our overall experience with SafeShare has been outstanding. We use it regularly and the feedback has been positive.
These range from videos cutting early, to the video not playing at all, requiring me to reupload it and try again. This can be especially frustrating when you are on a time crunch.
I like how the developers have been making positive changes over the years. Especially when it became a paid premium service, it’s nice to see my money going into improvements for the service.
There are times that the video can become hidden and users receive an error message that the video is unavailable.
I love using this software to share YouTube videos with my young students. It omits the ads that can sometimes not be appropriate.
The only downside that I have experienced is that it is one more step to paste the link into their site.
I appreciate having it available and customer services was very responsive when I needed it.
I used it before there was a paid option, and I now have to delete old ones to create new ones. I should purchase the tool, but as a teacher, I have limited funds, and this is not a necessary fund.
I can look back anytime at the safe videos that I have created and shared. It's really nice to also be able to crop videos down to just the parts I want.

Best of all, it allows you to integrate into most of the popular platforms seamlessly and it allows you to start small for free and grow big.
Due to jotform errors and their non-existent customer service I am now getting angry emails from customers threatening to cancel their subscriptions.
The improved back-end features, the reporting functions, and the integrations have really made me like this platform. The nonprofit discount and the overall affordability have been great.
It's expensive and you can only gather X amount of forms before being charged. The website is a bit dated.
The form creator is awesome. It made it SUPER easy to design a form with the fields I required my customers to fill out and let's them upload images when contacting me.
That it’s hard to read and fill out on mobile browsers because of the tendency to be cut off on the screen.
The amount of customizing that can be done with JotForm is simply amazing, even with the free account. I simply couldn't find the ability to use file upload in a free account other than JotForm.

It is now a bulky applications with hell lots of features, it will take you around 2-3 months to properly go through every feature, no matter how fast you are.

My biggest problem is that some teachers have NO IDEA how to use this product. This app needs to give courses to teachers on how to use it.
This is a comprehensive and easy to use tool, specially when we are in the university. I had a good experience using it for some classes and assignments.
I like that Moodle was user friendly and easy to navigate. It was pretty simple and user friendly for the most part.
I used the product during my graduation, but I found an excellent opportunity to extend the contents of the college to my residence.
If you have a small budget this is a great choice. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good LMS platform.
Moodle has allowed many students, like myself, to gain information at an affordable price while still receiving quality analysis of books, skills for learning, and more.
This is a great tool to use for training purposes such as we have. We use it for new and ongoing training and are very happy with it overall.
I used it in my college years and I've got to say that i loved it. It is highly customizable and easy to use and understand as it has a nice interface.
It was really helpful for me to help the students practice and improve their coding skills. I used it together with google classroom and they integrate each other very well.
Moodle is free and open sourced learning management app. Our developers are able to customize and integrate into other programs for customers as needed which is a great feature.

A lack of integration with our Blackbaud Raisers Edge database, however this is something they've been talking about implementing in the near future.
I love how quickly a powerful touch can be created. As well as it's it's great tool to collect videos.
We identified the issue and quickly had a response from customer support. Now, as a LARGE institution with more than 100,000 contacts in use the new pricing structure can be a bit of a burden.
Easy for users of all technology backgrounds to use, beautiful landing pages, great templates and music selection, overall great feedback from donors about the platform.
When dealing with limited resources at a smaller organization we usually have to cut something out in order to add something new.
They appear to allocate time, resources and dollars to improving their functionality which is always a great sign. Looking forward to helping with some beta testing too.
I haven't found anything that I dislike thus far. I've experienced a few technical glitches on the platform itself but nothing that a quick refresh wouldn't take care of.
Our overall experience with ThankView has been very positive. We love the product (it happens to be my favorite product that we've invested in in my 9 years in my role).
I've been able to easily train gift officers on how to use it to better steward their portfolios and it's one of the best tools that we have in our kit.
ThankView reaches people virtually, yet remains very personal. It allows us to deliver a delightful experience to folks in a really meaningful way, and it's incredibly easy to use.

I love the polls with word cloud, the most - I'm a speaker and audiences LOVE this - as do I. It's fun, easy to run, works well, and dramatically increases engagement.
The pricing model is confusing to explain to new users, and a barrier to their using the product.
It's great that the user experience can be personalised. As a new user of Vevox, I haven't had the chance to explore all the features yet, but so far it has been an exceptionally good experience.
Options with more than one line appear centralized on the delegates phone and the rest of the content is left aligned, this looks strange and no way to change.
At GSK, this is really helping us do this. Functions like PPT integration, polls, Q&A are all brilliant, plus live output visually e.g. the word cloud function is brilliant.
I haven't yet found anything I don't like tool-wise - the only thing that went wrong was my first attempt at integrating with PowerPoint didn't work.
Great to have had the tool set up already inhouse and with easy access to great support by Vevox.
Unfortunately they did not change the survey sign if this option is not in use. This is a bit difficult for the user experience.
I would recommend Vevox to any industry or community group. It can really make your virtual team meeting more interactive and fun.
On first use, I'm really impressed. The free tier on Vevox had all the functionality we needed to help us handle voting at the online AGM for our not-for-profit organisation.
Vevox is the perfect alternative that is easy to use both from the aspect of the administrator and from the end-user aspect.
Your customer service and 1-1 help make all the difference in my successful use of Vevox.

Well, once again I was thrilled with CampDoc this summer. I appreciated the familiar and the new improvements, as well as the customer service and quick response from you.
During the camp season, I no longer have to notify parents of missing information as they were able to figure that out themselves.
All the information is inputted directly by the parents and is accessible to our medical staff to reference whenever needed. The reports are wonderful and helpful.
The representatives also seemed less willing to help our staff this year when called with problems, less educated on problem solving, and at times, short on the phone or by email with our staff.
Many of the functions are easy to use, and very helpful. I love that they are always willing to customize to what our needs are.
Every time I had a question it was answered quickly and everyone was very helpful. The response time was amazing.
My experience with CampDoc has been wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Customizable to fit the needs of a specific camp/program. Many options to make registration and medical needs even easier.

Award Force has been quick to answer queries and address issues. They are also good at finding solutions that best suit our needs.
I do find it frustrating that specific features are not present in the software.
Its been perfect - speedy responses, excellent product that works really well for us and it has helped us increase our number of entries for the awards year on year.
I found it hard to visualise how to set up the system as a first time user, as there were no examples given for what I was looking for so the setup was a bit time consuming.
We were manually collecting/managing awards before award force - so award force was incredibly welcomed.
I DID ask if there was a file size limit for the upload (the answer is no) but I did not ask if the file sizes have an effect on the download.
The system looks amazing and is great value for money. The support team were great and always very happy to help.
In all honesty I have very little bad to say about the whole experience.
Award Force is by far the best awards and judging platform I have used. Once you understand it and how the modules integrate with each other, it is ridiculously smooth and easy to use.
Its ease of use in allowing users easy input. We use it for an Award program and in particular the judging aspect makes it extremely easy.
Very responsive support, great features and easy to implement and maintain.
This software really answers our needs with regards to the organisation of our Awards. It is userfriendly, easy to understand, and the user support is very professional.

Ease of use for end users (contest entrants). Great set of tools to set up and use the contest judging component.
Relatively easy to navigate. Excellent customer service.
Also, their helpdesk/ticket centre and the sidebar for providing quick answers to questions are great.
The ease that entrants can create and submit their entries and the ease that we can track their progress and monitor incoming revenue.
We are currently using it for student grant proposals submissions and abstract submissions for events such Scholars Week, Posters at the Capitol, and several conferences.
Award Force has been quick to answer queries and address issues. They are also good at finding solutions that best suit our needs.
I do find it frustrating that specific features are not present in the software.

I found it hard to visualise how to set up the system as a first time user, as there were no examples given for what I was looking for so the setup was a bit time consuming.
We were manually collecting/managing awards before award force - so award force was incredibly welcomed.
I DID ask if there was a file size limit for the upload (the answer is no) but I did not ask if the file sizes have an effect on the download.
The system looks amazing and is great value for money. The support team were great and always very happy to help.

The WizeHive Team is thoughtful, intentional, and focused on excellence in their product and their customer relationships.
Emails usually end up in spam folders. You can't duplicate applications or move them to the next year's cycle which is frustrating if you've deferred an applicant.
The support staff is very responsive and helpful whenever I cannot figure out how to do something within the system on my own. Our users have given great feedback on the ease of use as well.
It is difficult to find a negative aspect to this software.
I like the simplicity of the design. I am still in the early implementation phase, but I think this will be a great long-term solution for the Foundation.
The only thing that I dislike right now is that I'm not able to pull email delivery reports on auto-emails that are set up based on folder movements.
The software is user friendly and the training I received on it was excellent.

There are a lot of useful functions that give us some flexibility on how we communicate with applicants. The team at WizeHive is super knowledgeable and attentive to your questions and concerns.

Not only did Zengine improve our professional look, it was easy for our grant applicants to use. The Foundation Board of Director's was reviewing all applications via a shared drive or on paper.
WizeHive is incredibly useful for program management, thanks to its integrated portal editor/publisher, as well as the highly editable data display.

It's been a wonderful experience with Blackboard, i love how other applications integrate so well with Blackboard.
We ran our own host and it had nothing but problems, and I am not talking hardware. Every time we went to run an update, it broke something.
Blackboard is wonderful for students, it is very easy to use and they constantly do updates that help improve the system.
It has a bad UI and does not integrate well with other software solutions.
Overall I had a wonderful experience and I’ve talked to other students about their thoughts and the overall consensus was it’s great for the busy college student.
Everything about Blackboard is clunky — at least as it is set up in our university. Operations that should be drag and drop require multiple clicks.

Somewhat easy to use for simple applications, robust enough to handle the more complex applications. Lots of features and priced competitively.
Sharing is a piece of cake and motivates the students to interact and comunicate. The price is affordable and it works in any smartphone and tablet, any available device.

I think that this has been a great way to learn new things. It is free, and it is a great for anyone needing to save money and is a student.
The support was horrible, most of them are salesman and when they redirect to the specialist at the end is openning a ticket because they do not know neither.
The overall quality, ease of use, features & functionality of blackboard make it a great software for college students and college campuses to invest in.
Uploading finished assignments were a real pain. The documents videos needed to be no more than a few.
I really like the fact you can easily create teams, conferences and add users very efficiently. The sound and video quality are really good.
No direct integration for download the record of use you need to use api to get this information. We had a problem with the LTI the integration started to direct any group to the same room.
I like that students are able to get the immediate benefit of connections with their instructor & classmates with the flexibility of being at home.
In other software systems, you can see everyone at the same time. Blackboard doesn’t give you that option, and it is annoying.
