Pros

Strong, secure environment - clearly developed with an appreciation of how to treat company sensitive data. Appropriate security levels are easily established and maintained.
Having never used it before, I was amazed at the ease of use. In addition to serving as a data repository for 10+ years of information, the variance analysis reporting is fantastic.
I feel the printing capabilities can be improved, along with the clarity of the printing itself. The customer service on this product is outstanding.

Pros

We have a great rep, [sensitive content hidden], who is very reliable and eager to assist with any issues.
Support staff is timely to respond back and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have worked with Dasharath many times and he has been very helpful and prompt to resolute.
Whenever there is an issue I can reach out to support and they are always very helpful at finding a quick resolution.

Cons

This lack of functionality makes our work a bit confusing sometimes.
Our adaptive administrator sometimes struggles with the data integration from netsuite in some instances.
Implementation is costly and seems cumbersome.

Cons

Easily conflicts with some other tools, which makes some problems. Need to remove those issues.
Sometimes it has worse days, especially on month end where there is so much going on at once.
Sometimes it is the software sluggish to show the results.

Pros

Seems like it is built similar to the excel spreadsheet model where you can really make it anything you need.

Cons

Requires more training at the front end compared to other more robust (and expensive) systems. Doesn't seem to have two-way communication with Sage Intacct with regard to real time data pulls.

Adaptive Planning is a Must for FP&A

Our company has used Adaptive Planning for about 2 years now. We went from a complex Excel spreadsheet based system to an organized and efficient Adaptive budgeting process. The customization and flexibility in the system is almost limitless and impressive.

Pros: cloud based and and UI friendly. I dont have to wait for ppl to submit spreadsheet and consolidate all of those back. Great response from support email Cons: some time it would be tricky to understand the whole system to model new metric. But video and tutorial is very helpful

One source for all models and reported numbers. Interconnected data makes it easy to see the full effect of any changes, large or small.

Cons

Customer support needs to work on responsiveness.
