ECF is a Florida Electrical Contractor trade association that offers members reliable industry updates, communication services, ongoing educational training, and leadership. The key to providing all these services is planning, efficiency, and good management. That's where Affinipay becomes the business partner that helps make everything happen. From beginning to end ECF doesn't have to worry about payment, posting, and follow-up on all debit/credit card payment transactions.
After the initial 'learning curve' how-to use the software period, we have had no problems adjusting to using Affinipay and find it a dependable, stable asset to our financial planning and monthly reconciliation.

I've had a great experience with Affinipay for Associations.
It's very easy to use for both the admin and our customers.
I don't think there are any cons to this software. I've used a few different similar products in the past and this is my preferred one because of how easy it is to use.

My experience with Affinipay has been excellent.
It's so easy for our members to use! I rarely get complaints or have issues arise. Customer support is excellent.
We changed the way we do our reporting, but it was not a difficult process. My only issue is sometimes the reports don't match the bank statements at the end of the month if deposits haven't yet been processed. Not a big deal though!

My experience with AffiniPay has been positive. We changed to AffiniPay when our online database company required it.
I like that I can produce reports on our donations with relative ease. The software sends an email to my email account everytime a donation is made which helps me keep my bookkeeping in order.
The only problem I encountered with this software involved a form change for our donors when making online donations. We were not notified the form had changed and we had an elderly woman who could not figure out how to make a routine donation. When I could not figure it out and had to seek help, I immediately notified my contact person with AffiniPay. After several months, the issue was resolved with a simple change to the form. My recommendation would be to have a variety of customers not programmers check out any new changes.

Implementation of installment payments through Affinipay has had the greatest impact over the past 12 months. Also, they are an excellent business partner through our member benefit program.
Affinipay is a robust platform with all the features that any association needs. It seamlessly integrates with the association platform making dues collection, event registration and sponsorship payments so simple. The affordibility for the product cant be beat. Affinipay knows the business of associations which makes them a great partner.
Ability to create custom pages on the user back end rather than going through support. Although support is very quick!

We like the fact that it is embedded in our own website payment page, no need to take the payer to a separate website.
The monthly summary statement is too complicated.
Marco- Thank you for your review. The monthly summary statement has a ton of information on it that makes it seem quite complicated. The statements are generated to fit the needs of accounts of all sizes and all pricing plans. Therefore, some of the information on the statement might not pertain to your individual account type. Outstanding product as our organization serves people throughout the US and is secure enough for our members to feel that they can use safely when paying for products and dues
I love the ease of downloading daily reports of our online/credit card payments. The customer support has been outstanding whenever concerns or questions have arose.
Unable to tap open a daily report from the monthly deposit report. It would be outstanding to be able to link over especially when downloading several daily deposit reports

The search transaction feature and reports provided.
Expensive and uploads from our management software do not translate all information properly and I have to match up payment information to our deposits in QB.

My overall and overwhelming experience with this software is positive.
Affinipay payment processing is reliable, secure and easy to use. On the rare occasion that I need to contact support, service is always fast, friendly and accurate.
No real cons from my perspective. I've used Stripe in another situation and the one feature I preferred in Stripe was knowing what exact payments were coming in on what day.

The timing of payments on the system versus bank deposit creates problems in reconciling monthly revenues and bank statements. Sometimes deposits are netted against refunds and other times they are not. There should be a process that is consistently used in handling deposits and refunds.
The integration with Your Membership is a plus.
The filter for reports for tracking payments should be customized to sort by type of payment or dollar amount of payment as well as date. Having to manually manipulate this for monthly reporting is time consuming.

From time to time these integrations are updated with improved data transferred from our partner. Regarding the days between processing and seeing deposits, this time is banking industry standard, 2-4 business days. Funds confirmations pass through many systems before the funds are moved from one account to be deposited. We understand that this can be frustrating. The process is not unique to Affinipay. Excellent service and reliability as mentioned previously.
The reporting makes my job significantly easier. The reliability is key - down time is never a good thing, especially when 90% of our business comes through website sales. Affinipay has proven to be extremely reliable.
The cost is higher than we were used to, but I think that has to do with the deal struck by our web host, YourMembership.

We don't necessarily have high volumes of transactions, but I love how easy it is to take entries in our QuickBooks spreadsheet and match them up to transactions on the Affinipay dashboard and categorize the type of purchase was made. If a refund is ever requested, I can quickly search by the customer's name and issue a refund with one click and make them happy in a very small amount of time.
No major complaints. I would like the ability to CC people on credit card receipts, since sometimes the person making the purchase wants a receipt forwarded to their business manager.

Affinipay enables our busy members to pay their dues and register for events easily without having to go through so much to accomplish their payments.
It is so easy to use on an administrator side and the customer service is superb! I know I can always reach out to someone and I'll get the help I need.
Maybe on the reports side of things. Sometimes I am searching for ways to better query reports but eventually I find what I'm looking for. Wish the system would also tell us who the payment is for - in other words, an admin may pay with their company card but they are not the actual member - would be nice to see the member's name on the transaction itself on the reports.

Affinipay is a great company to work with and I would recommend them to other associations.
Affinipay is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Processing credit card payments is very easy no matter whether we are processing payments in the office, remotely or in-person. The majority of of membership dues and event registrations are paid by credit card. Customer service has always been great. When ever we have had to call or email we have received very timely responses and help with resolving any issue that may have come up, which very rarely happens. Great product. All of our Regions also use Affinipay for payment processing. It is an easy product that links with our AMS and any third party that we work with.
At this time I don't have any areas that I think need to be improved.

Great product for small office staff, Affinipay makes payment processing easy
The dashboard and payment history make using this product quick and easy.
It seems to me customer support has been moved overseas and is not as reliable as it was.

AffiniPay integrates well with our current online CRM/AMS software. Customer support from AffiniPay is better and more responsive than most vendors were use.
The only issue we have ever had is a fraudulent payment reaching our bank account that was later deducted.

It has been a pleasure to use the Affinipay software. It's easy to use and gives us all the data we need. Even more important is the expert live customer service which is almost like a personalized concierge service. This is a great feature. Would recommend it easily and with confidence as Affinipay has exceeded our expectations.
Affinipay's biggest feature is its simplicity and ease of use. Love the admin page which details all activity. It's so easy to bill or receive money. They also provide custom landing pages for various fundraising initiatives. We find this feature extremely helpful. Lastly, their customer service is very efficient and accountable in a timely manner. Always a real person to deal with and always courteous and professional.
So far we have been happy with Affinipay as is.

Using Affinipay has been seamless. It’s easy to search for a transaction and do a refund. It’s easy to see when a transaction failed. It’s a great system.
I love the daily transactions reports function! This feature saves me so much time during bookkeeping. On the days that transactions are made, I run the report and then I can quickly determine whether dues, registration for the conference, or an exhibit fee payment was made.
Sone tones the reports print off the edge of the page and sometimes they don’t. I would like to see a pdf download choice.

Affinipay is SO user friendly and streamlined. It's easy to process payments, provide refunds, and see transaction reports. It's clean, organized, and intuitive. We switched over from a more complicated platform and it's been a breath of fresh air to use Affinipay.
I wish we had an easy way to take in person payments at our conference with a credit card swiper that connects to the platform. Perhaps there is a physical credit card swiper and I just haven't obtained one yet.

unfortunately, there is not much I like about the website and looking up transactions. It super time consuming with going back to each page and then finding the date again and then clicking on each transaction to see the member company so that I can enter the invoice.
While monthly reconciliation this would be a technology issue that would need some tweaking. While reconciling every month the transactions only show the person's name and not the Company that the name is associated. So I have to click on every transaction to see which member company it is for (I am a wild apricot user for our membership) and then when I hit the back button it takes me all the way to the first transaction and then I have to filter back to the one that I was looking at. It would nice if the company name that is associated with wild apricot would reflect.

We are satisfied with the service and its reliability.
This service integrated well with our other services and forms. The price per usage is very reasonable.
What we found least appealing about the Affinipay service is that our customers had not heard of it but that hasn't caused any problems.
