Pros

It's great for any size business and I highly recommend it. Support and setup are a breeze and support staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very professional.
Easy to navigate, setup was very easy, generating reports was easy, and super quick response from the help desk support.
Support is great and people are wonderful. Great company to do business with.

Pros

User friendly design that is easy to learn and navigate, great for invoicing people as well as paying invoices, good organization of invoices and payments.
Quickbooks is the bread and butter of my business, it is the best accounting program I have used. I love that it continues to improve and allow more integration with apps and documentation programs.
The help on the team when getting this product was great, the features are honestly really great, I use it for payroll as well and it is really worth the cost.

Cons

Sometimes I'll place a requisition for something that has already been requested, but since I can't see other people's orders I can't see that I'm duplicating a request that's already been made.
At times the items descriptions could be difficult see.
Any time technology is involved there is some level of risk to compromised data.

Cons

Submitting hours for the wrong week unintentionally can be frustrating because there is no way to reverse it without supervisor permissions.
The customer service is terrible. I usually get forwarded from person to person because I'm in the "wrong department," but I know it's because the person just doesn't know the answer.
No recourse through customer service. Data is held hostage as leverage for stopping cancellation of unauthorized charges, ie: sure you can cancel but we're not sure what will happen to your data.

Overall I would highly recommend Bellwether to anyone looking to keep track of their purchasing and inventory. I'm very glad we selected Bellwether. They work with us when we ask it they can add any features to fit our needs. Customer service is excellent; they always answer right away and have solved every problem we've ever came across.

Pros

Bellwether is super easy to use. I was given the task of finding a way to track our company's expenses on the indirect items that are bought throughout the company. Choosing Bellwether was one of the smartest decisions I have made. The software makes managing the companies purchasing and creating bills in Quickbooks very simple.

Cons

One feature I would like added, when creating a purchase order, is a check box that could be selected that indicates the order has already been received. We have a lot of purchases that happen at the local hardware where the items are received immediately after purchase. If there was a check box on the purchase order that said "Received" you could select that and take one step off of the process.

Pros

This software is user-friendly and allows you to create as many categories as you like. This helps pull back the most accurate budgets and reports.

Cons

The software is expensive. The company makes older versions of the software obsolete, forcing you in to purchasing new.

Pros

Quick Books was easy to use and was able to sort out my payables and receivables and generate invoices for customers. Reports were easy to understand and not cumbersome

Cons

There was nothing that I could say I liked the least as it was able to satisfy my needs.

Cons

Inventory management and planning/purchasing.

Pros

It works really well for inventory management. The reporting function is nice once you learn how to manipulate for your needs.

Cons

The system aborts fairly frequently throughout the day. Its isn't inherently very user friendly. It takes a lot of time to learn the quirks of it. And it doesn't perform ideally in every situation, particularly customer service integration.

Quickbooks support is phenomenal. I have never had them end the call without finding the solution and they never belittle you for the sometimes weird or peculiar questions.

Pros

Love that I can open 2 companies at same time. Very big deciding factor when purchasing. QuickBooks is a very easy-to-use software.

Cons

Cost was a bit spendy. I don't think opening two companies at same time should hike the price that much.

My company uses this as our receiving/purchasing software and it’s very simple and user friendly. I like that making corrections is simple and transparent!

Precise invoices & wonderful accounting software!

Nonetheless, it's a very versatile software and I would recommend everyone to at least trial it before purchasing it for business/personal use.

Pros

I've used the QuickBooks Self-Employed trial a few times to see how beneficial it would be to manage invoices & transactions throughout the year and I am beyond impressed. One of my favorite features is being able to access books from any device, anywhere you are. I love how you're able to scan receipts using the mobile app without having to manually enter information. It's useful if you understand accounting on a at least a basic level.

Cons

Compared to the Desktop version, the online version is somewhat limited; however, it's slowly getting better as new updates are rolled out. The entire application is very versatile but the iOS app lacks a few of the features I would find necessary for everyday use.

Easy to use but getting increasingly expensive

Good tracking of business finances, payroll, invoicing, purchasing, etc.

Pros

I've used it for over 25 years, so it's familiar. You can run multiple businesses from it and export forms to one of the other businesses.

Cons

It's becoming more and more expensive. Payroll has shot through the roof and is hardly worth it if you only have a few employees.

Pros

Like the reporting and simple use. Could use some better layout building for quotes, invoices, PO's. Worth it if you have a smaller business can handle a lot

Cons

inventory tracking is lacking. sometimes its slow. has troubles working with email clients. sometimes certain things are a little clunky

Pros

Easy to use, lots of features, and great customer support! I use this all the time and would recommend to anyone.

Cons

Does not have as many powerful features as other software similar does, but still has a lot. If you use a lot of those features be mindful when purchasing.

I now able to keep records for all the transactions, purchases, And the best thing is that i can now be able to print any report requested from any Day.

Pros

We use this program to manage sales and expenses and keep track of the company business transactions, Purchases and also we use it to make invoice for customers, pay outstanding bills, And most of all it can generate reports for any record needed in the future for further clarification.

Cons

it's a little bit expensive when purchasing the Module for the whole program.

Cons

I think it was built with a small business mindset meaning it's not an ideal software for larger companies.As the business grows one will have to consider purchasing a bigger software to cater for the growing needs.

We are a family farm and wouldn't make it come tax season without the help of QuickBooks. It's very easy to understand and operate and love that you have the option to get it online and take it wherever you go.

Pros

Very easy to use and love that you can get it downloaded vs. waiting for ordered discs.

Cons

Wishing I could just update current version for minimal fee instead of purchasing new version.

It simplifies my billing life.

Pros

I like that this software can do everything that a business needs. From doing invoices, to making checks.

Cons

The help feature isn't very helpful. It seems to get any help, they want you to pay. I personally feel for paying for an upgrade to software and purchasing the software, there should not be any further assistance charges.

We use this for inventory, ordering, purchasing, billing. Almost too much to name. Everything works together smoothly.

Cons

Everything is in one place! You can actually automate transactions so it's even easier to track purchasing!

Cons

Can't create rules from transaction menu it only allows them to be created from main screen. I've also experienced random log-outs causing trips to be missed.

Pros

I have been using Quickbooks since 2002. Most of my experience is with Quickbooks Pro however. You can easily manage all of your accounting categorized by client profile using the Pro version of the software. All of the Quickbooks products are transferable between versions and it's even easier now that every product can be accessed online.

Cons

It can get a bit pricey if you buy the wrong product version. Make sure you know how many computers you want to support before purchasing because the various software suites have limitations.

Easy to use, modify and work on. Makes our accounting system a breeze, as well as purchasing.

Cons

Sometimes it crashes for a few hours, but that is more than likely an end user problem rather than the system itself.
