I have many freelance and contracting clients who I have to keep up with. This is a great system for invoicing and keeping track of who owes me what. Helps to ensure I get paid on time.
There are many companies who don't use the software to pay freelancers or contract workers. This can delay payment processing if they insist on sending a check vs. paying through the Bill.com system.

Overall this product has made our company more productive and more environmentally friendly.
I love bill.com because everything is now done online and it’s easier for our employees and accounting office alike. All employees have to do is send an email with the invoice and we are done. No more paper and no more confusion!
The only thing I don’t like about this product is there is no confirmation email feature. It would be nice to receive a confirmation email when something is submitted.

This was a real game changer in creating sustainable financial operations. With bill.com, bills are paid on time, records are kept accurately and neatly for future viewing, and cashflow is easy to manage since you can schedule bill payments.
Our company was a very young company when I joined (a hardware startup) and did not have a system for paying bills and keeping receipts since we were starting from scratch. Bill.com was instrumental in creating a bill paying and invoice keeping system that was easy to set up, and covered all situations (i.e. paying foreign bills in different currencies, etc.).
Sometimes it is not obvious how to do the setup- but their customer support is very responsive, so you don't really have to get everything immediately.

Overall, my experience with Bill.com has been great. It is a very easy user interface and makes paying bills easy.
Bill.com makes it really easy to make payments to our vendors. We can easily make payment via check or e-payment. Being that we use Xero, Bill.com easily syncs down into Xero.
The one con would be that you can't do foreign currency payments via Bill.com. They only support USD transactions.

The simplicity of BILL makes it worth it all! All of the features allow for many things to be done through one source. The customer service has been very helpful every time that I have needed assistance!
I personally have not had any issues while using BILL so far and I do not see that changing!

I got a new computer, and had to do two step verification. But our office number is now a phone tree because of COVID. So I cannot do two step verification when I login. I clicked on support, and sent a message (no phone number available), and it said it sent me a message on the "message center" which I cannot access because I cannot get past the two step verification. So there is no way to reach customer support.

Ability to pay vendors via check from the web is pretty convenient.
Interface is overly complex. Also if you are an accounting firm or multi-account user, the setup process for creating and moving between organizations is not user friendly. My inquiries to customer service were logged via support ticket, however the resolution was not provided and when I followed up at a later date I was told my request had been closed. Frustrating to say the least. Billing for the software has not been smooth either, I had some complaints in that regard.

Fairly intuitive and effortless to input into our accounting system (Quickbooks).
Seamlessly moves items from Balance Sheet to P&L with little effort. Very customizable approval process. Customer service is responsive and helpful.
Seems a little old fashioned, and it's sometimes difficult to find exactly what you're looking for.

In the beginning it wasn’t user friendly but now I have become proficient.
Invoicing template is good. It saves all my previous entries.
2 factor authentication as the number entered is of the company owner. Being an accountant I face a lot of difficulty when I have to ask him about the code he receives on his phone. He gets annoyed on this.

From a user perspective it was very easy to use. Email your vendor invoice to the platform, log in to code and approve it. Or assign it to a different approver.
As a user, it was really easy to get invoices into Bill.com (just email them to the platform), and then easy to code and approve expenses. I would get an email whenever I had something new to approve. I was able to search vendors for old invoices when I was researching costs for a closed project.
Nothing, from my perspective it worked just fine and I did not have any issues with it at all. Quick and easy.

Super easy to use. They've made it simple to keep track of open invoices and due dates with reminders.
Other platforms allow you to pay on invoices with a CC, via ACH free of fees/charges. If Bill.com would eliminate its fees for using CCs, I see 5 stars in its future.

Great accounts payable tool
Good syncing to accounting softwares (little to no breaks in syncing). Bill.com support is exceptional in assisting in any needs/concerns, etc. I don't use this for accounts receivable but I do for accounts payable and it's great for that. Epayments are wonderful but even if the vendor doesn't sign up for ePayments, Bill.com still cuts/sends a check :)
I don't care for the updated design. It's complicated and hard to use. The previous design was much more simple and easier to use.

My experience has been excellent and I would highly recommend Bill.com.
The features that I like are ease of use and ease of approvals within our organization. I also like the ability for the software to learn from invoices and apply that learning to coding future invoices.
The one feature that I would add is the ability to utilize humans to analyze very large and complex bills.

Expense statement tracking and quick direct deposit reimbursement.
I like the emailed statements about my expenses reimbursed for that account deposit. Money goes directly into my account and I do not have to wait for my semi-monthly paycheck. I get reimbursed much more quickly and frequently. Setting up my direct deposit was simple.
There is nothing that I dislike with this product. I have only used it for 4 months as of this review, but so far it has been great.

Cost of the system if super inexpensive and the capabilities work smoothly with Quickbooks, very user-friendly and paperless
The more you print, the costs will increase. I wish there was a set amount you could pay monthly.

Very frustrated after 2 hours and 2 diff chat sessions and now have to wait till next week to talk to someone - cant believe there are NO OPTIONS to talk to a real person

I have been using bill.com for about 2 years. The problems are many and too much to list here. Today I contact bill.com for the 1st time (nearly impossible as they do everything they can to hind a phone number) I requested that our accounting software consulting company be removed from our bill.com account and I am told that only the terminated firm can "release" our bill.com account and it is 100% up to them. Keep that in mind if you choose to try this service. If you end your relationship with your software provider they are still in control of your accounts payable tool???? Totally unacceptable to our company and think long and hard before you make the same mistake we did and using bill.com for your AP needs.

- Integration does not work 100% with Quick Books - Customer service is almost impossible to reach - Customer service is terrible once you reach them - System does not work as designed. - Downtime is unacceptable - Payments do not reach vendors
Hi, just wanted to confirm that you were able to get your problem resolved? Our customer service team should have called you to clear up this misunderstanding. I believe that the problem was that you were trying to unlink from the Bill.com console that your accounting firm was using. The accounting firm needs to process the unlinking, but we can assist with this and contact the accounting firm for you. Let me know if you have problems right now.

I often talk to companies about bill.com because of the simplicity of the system. Bill.com allows us to keep a paperless system and the integration with Intacct works wonderfully. This feature has recently been updated.
System is easy to use and the department is able to see all invoices and info right in the system as it is paperless.
No cons that I can think of. So far the system is wonderful and they seem to be working on improving it more and more. We used to find that they sync errors were a problem but with some additional knowledge we are able to resolve them quite easily.
Thanks for the great review. If there's any problems with the Sync, please contact support. We've recently upgraded to Intacct Sync 2.0 and are always trying to improve it. For example, this month, we've added the ability to mark offline payments not to sync with Intacct. Intacct Sync 2.0 will handle all three dimensions on invoices - locations, classes, projects/jobs on invoices.

Hands down the worst business application I have used. This tool manages money and there is absolutely no excuse for such a poorly designed non functioning tool that disappears payments. It is probably going to take me hours to sort this out and I already have very unhappy contractors because I chose to take a risk on this software.
Nothing except the concept, it would have been very convenient if I could have used this to RELIABILTY pay my contractors using a tool I could TRUST with peace mind. This tool offers none of those things.
I am so frustrated, I signed up for this app to pay our contract workers, and it's been over a week and electronic payments have not been sent. Furthermore the ability to track the payments seems to have disappeared as payments that 3 days occur showed as 'processed' and waiting for the 'sent' status, now no longer show up at all, I have no idea what happened to them. Are they there lurking in the...
