Like I said, it definitely made getting paid easier because my invoices were going directly into my client's billing system. Once I started using this with my client, there was no delay in payment at all.
One of my clients uses it and asked me to use it to invoice them. Once it was set up properly, I found it fairly easy to use, and it did speed up my payment turnaround quite a bit.
It didn't have tiers of functionality - this was obviously developed with a power user in mind. For my type of work, it felt like overkill. A simpler invoicing template would have been helpful, rather than my having to create a more complex invoice than I needed. It's also not always intuitive - some key invoicing functions are sometimes hidden within another function. However, it wasn't anything I couldn't sort out with some digging.

Overall it has been very useful in helping me pay bills for my clients. There are controls in place to prevent fraud which is very nice. it is also amazing how efficiently i can enter bills and it automatically creates the payments for me in QuickBooks.
It is so nice that I can enter bills onto the website, assign the approvers ,then sync into QuickBooks to print the checks. It is very efficient and easy to maneuver on the website.
I don't like that it also syncs the email into bill.com when someone emails an invoice. That's an additional item I have to delete. It can also get confusing when entering large amounts of bills.

I have used bill.com for over 7 years. In that time I have watched the progress of of the accounting software grow. Bill.com offers a quality tool that has all the workflows in place. Multiple software applications mimic this software. They can be utilized. But only Bill.com puts together the complete package. The start of receiving the bills, to the approval process, to the payment process. It saves time keeping all of the information into one location. Bill.com offers a receivable process as well. The system allows for security on payments, recurring invoices, and a customer portal. All of this in one solution is a winning combination.
The Pros are: -electronic bill payment -electronic approval system -unlimited document storage -recurring AR invoices -electronic AR payments -Customer (AR) portal -Security encryption -Great customer service
-Work flow on the AR is a bit choppy -Customers must have an account to open invoices

Saves hours every month in the Accounts Payable process. As a CFO of multiple companies, I used to spend a ton of time going through paper bills, trying to decipher approval signatures, and signing checks. Now it can all be done remotely and provides a trail that makes auditors happy.
I do most of the process on my iPad and it does require navigating through multiple tabs and hitting the back button. There is probably an easier way but not entirely intuitive.

Il est très pratique et facile à utiliser et surtout bénéfique pour les utilisateurs, car ça leur permet d'envoyer, de recevoir, de faire des retraits et autre ... Vraiment j'aime beaucoup cette application inovatrice et accessible par tous.
Ce que j'aime le moins de cette application, c'est son manque de célébrité, car il n'est pas connu par le grand Puplic. Donc il faut que le maximum le connaissebt.

Their customer service is a joke and overall they appear to have unethical business practices.
It was fast to setup overall and it integrated with Quickbooks.
They hold your incoming payments hostage for no explainable reason, it appears from what others are saying it is so they can collect interest on the funds and bolster their business. If that was known I never would have used them. My business is suffering because of their shady business practices.

It is eazy to payments. But sometimes bill.com can do something strange and expensive for clients.
I used payments in dollars. But suddenly, bill.com decided to switch it to AED, just because they decided it is better for recipient (who use USD account). So bill.com converted USD to AED (it costs 2.5% - too much), and transferred it to USD acc!

Bill.com allows us to manage our invoices and payments with simplicity. The ability to change a direct deposit account very quickly enables us to manage where any payments may go without having to repeatedly complete any paperwork for bank routing.
There are three factors that stood out for our use. First, integration into our workflow for invoicing was quite simple. The ability to use a feature-rich mobile app was also important. Lastly, the support for multiple bank accounts is helpful for deposits.
The filtering of invoice views seems a little misunderstood by some of our staff at times. Perhaps a different layout would be more friendly

Amazing Product! killing it Bill.Com!
Bill.com is everything that our company needed to help us on the accounting side of things, it has brought simplicity and efficiency where we were lacking.
I don't have anything negative to say about Bill.Com, what I originally thought was a flaw in the software actually turned out to be an un-realated computer issue.

Piss poor. I was convinced to use them because they didn't have a transaction fee, which they actually do, and the software cost is massively over what I'd have paid in transaction fees. CS is abysmal. No phone number. Team no-showed on scheduled calls. At every interaction point my blood was boiling in frustration. Vendors having trouble setting up accounts. Syncing issues all the time. RUN!
For a time, I could send payments and receive payments.
Forces you into paid acct once your test invoices are sent and then customers can't pay you if your trial has lapsed. Lower tiers have no basic functionality. Paying by user makes the cost massive. Syncing with QB didn't work. Overpriced and crap quality with no support. I spent 3 days trying to untangle a mess with paying vendors.

My primary client used paper checks to pay contractors until recently switching to Bill.com. Now vendors and contractors receive payment from the company via direct deposit. This has saved a lot of hassle and postage for the paying company, and the worry of postal delays or lost checks for those of us receiving the payments.
The integration with QuickBooks on the free tier is not full baked, and I think to get the software to perform the syncing I'm looking for, I'd have to upgrade to a paid tier. Other than that, I think it does take several days for payments to process and actually deposit into the recipient's bank account, so the payer has to time their payment processing accordingly and leave plenty of lead time.

I like that Bill.com allows me to organize all my company's payables, enter and review our vendor information, and save money on checks by connecting with e-payment.
Sometimes finding different screens and editing or deleting expenses are not very intuitive, and it takes some searching to figure out how to accomplish something.

I use Bill.com for our business. It syncs with Quickbooks and other accounting services for easy tracking of invoices. We also make payments to our independent contractors through Bill.com and it's in their account in a couple of days.
The cost can be a little high for small business unless this is there accounting method. Other than that, I really like Bill.com and do not have many cons.

Bill.com automates both accounts payable and receivable with a simple, clear interface. I particularly appreciate that there are multiple approval levels and auto bill entry.
Auto bill entry is a bit pricey. The help could be improved by making it more instructional and context-sensitive. Reports are not very customizable, you can't link to the underlying data..

Bill.com is a huge time saver and makes the AP process more efficient. It allows you to send checks to vendors without ever having to print out and mail a paper check ever again. You can also use it as an electronic filing cabinet to keep records of all the bills you have paid. I also love the audit trail to track who enter, approved and paid. You can use the money you use to spend on paper checks and stamps to offset some of the cost of bill.com.

Bill.com makes it easy to submit an invoice and then for the recipient of the invoice to enter the funds for payment.
I like the notifications received when invoices are received and later when money is expected and then deposited into your account
The software can be difficult to navigate at times when reviewing multiple invoices. I feel like I have to relearn where to find information each time I use the software to find out the status of a particular invoice.

Terrible I absolutely hate it.

I am a vendor who just needs to see what invoices are paid by my customer who sent me an invite for Bill.com. I was locked of the account and customer service would not help me get back in without having to produce my company bank statement and my driver license.....THIS IS NOT MY ACCOUNT!!!!! I just need to see what invoices are paid. This was an insane requirement. If you want to use this for your vendors BEWARE! it is not convenient for us AT ALL! I have been locked out for months trying to get this resolved.

Super easy to submit a reimbursement - employees only have to send an email with an attached receipt and short description.
Bill.com currently doesn't support HEIC files, which is rough when most of your employees have iPhones and don't always remember to turn off "Live" photos before snapping the receipt.

The overall experiences with Bill.com are highly favorable. I believe that if more emphasize has been given in the areas needed further input has been prioritized then the system as a whole would perform even better than it currently does.
This software allowed the company I worked with the flexibility of meeting needs from all aspects. The ability to have predictable business cash flow, online organized documentation, real-time automatic updates that can be used on various devices is a game changer for businesses both small and large.
The inclusion of additional customization for invoice templates. This along with a few other software features that are not fluid across the board that relies on the accounting system being utilized is a concern.
