Pros

What the business is doing is wonderful and you can't ask for better customer service. You work with a specific account manager that helps you with any and all bookkeeping issues.
Do yourself a favor and go ahead and get started NOW. You’ll thank yourself later, as you’ll more time to do what you do best in your own business.
While we are fairly versed in sound accounting practices, it is great to have a bookkeeper looking over our shoulder to make sure we are consistently following the best practices for our accounting.

Pros

Our office LOVES Canopy!!! We love how user friendly it is and they have great customer service.
An easy place to track my clients and prospects and archive our emails instead of having a million saved emails. Project tracking is also super helpful.
That has deemed to be more useful than I originally thought. Also, being able to store information on all of our clients in one easy to use place has been great.

Cons

Unforeseen problems: The "view only" access to my (personal) bank accounts triggered major problems. That second username triggered all my lined accounts to be unlinked and auto-payments stopped.
I have all the emails to corroborate this story and ultimately, I had to go to my credit card company which disputed the charges and refunded my money.
Had one of the worst experience with them, using their bookkeeping and tax filing services.

Cons

The company consistantly made promises that they were unable to uphold. Pushbacks on product releases that we desperately needed, and no refund for their mistakes.
Jumped in and decided to make them our company for our tax prep business, and everything went wrong.
Not the company you want to go with when you need something dependable. They're a tax company which makes it even more absurd that they mess around with deadlines.
