My overall experience with SAP Concur has been satisfactory. It has allowed me to manage my business expenses on official trips and conferences digitally without needing physical resources like pen and paper. I would recommend implementing this software for medium to large businesses who have executives traveling frequently. But not for smaller businesses where there is less travel related expenses because ROI would be low. As long as there is accounting background and frequent expense reporting, its worth investing in SAP Concur.
I use SAP Concur to track travel and business trip expenses. So, my partner and I can manage our budget accordingly. My favorite feature about SAP Concur is its ability to capture hotel or gas bills as an image and attach it to a specific project. I also like its ability to integrate with airlines and hotels booking, so I don't have to go to those reservation sites separately. My accountant finds it easy to work with SAP Concur reports when e-filing my year end taxes. So, overall a great financial analysis and expense reporting tool.
SAP Concur doesn't work that well with Google suite or Chrome browser. Because it is optimized to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and office products. Password reset and error tracking is not that efficient. Uploading images of receipts for expense reporting is complex to understand for a new user. Customizing the software to meet specific accounting practices for a specific business takes some extra effort. Experience in accounting and erp software use is a must to maximize potential of SAP Concur.

Resolve issues on accounts and invoices through three way matching.
SAP Concur allows me to detect disparity on POs, invoices and accounts prior to vendor payments by detecting data automatically with OCR technologies.
I am able to accomplish every accounting task on my end with SAP Concur.

This tool has been great to streamline our accounting process'
I really love how easy the concept is. Snap a picture of the receipt, and you're pretty much done. The software does a great job of scanning the receipt, analyzing the price, and finally all of the relevant data thats important to the expense report. Batching all of the receipts in to an expense report is extremely simple and communicating between errors or other things is pretty simple.
As the title insinuates, it is really buggy. Sometimes receipts get scanned and start to load and then just disappear.... It can be extremely frustrating.

Not any benefits it was a horrible experience in our accounting depertment
The idea of it is nice and if it worked well it would be awesome, but in execution it does not work well at all.
We had bills not show up in concur until after they were due making us delinquent with several accounts. We would have to make separate individual payments outside of the system to avoid an affect on our credit or termination of service. Did not help efficiency or our standing with vendors at all.

Streamlined business expenses, capturing receipts on the go, and maintaining clean accounting for our small business.
The mobile app is strong. It has all the features that you need to capture your receipts on the go. Gone are the days of sifting through receipts when you are at your desk. Just snap it and go and expense later.
The reports are just a pain. Expensing is a pain, but in a software I would really like to see credit card scanning and automatic reporting. At least have it guess and check manually if it was correct.

It offers automatic alerts when there is disparity on invoices, POs and accounts before making payments.
SAP Concur eradicate manual processes when it comes to accounting such as recurring billing, financial and expense reporting.
I do not like using mobile application since it has poor UI.

Poor compared to alternative products available on the market at a fraction of the cost
It is part of the SAP suite. Frankly, this is in fact the only plus in my view

Another look at different expense report software
It ties into AMEX and you can use it for so many features to clean up excel expense reports and other time consuming tasks.
It exports to CSV files and I really prefer a proper integration to accounting softwares which is why I went with Nexonia.

Used this application for expense tracking. Helped out a lot at end of year for accounting purposes.
Simple, intuitive program. Lets you upload receipts and other files, which is nice. Keeps track of travel docs and other expenses to help manage each individual's business expenses on one screen. Works on phone app so uploading stuff on the go is great and convenient.
The phone app doesn't have as much capabilities as the application on your computer. You're generally limited to reading data as opposed to writing on the phone app but you probably won't be trying to do anything intricate via the phone app anyways.

The many applications and integrations and accessiblity it has with reports and receipts and for the accounting dept.
Concur by SAP can be used as an effective simple yet mnanagemable and reliable expemse tracking system for companies with employees in the field. Big company dynamics yet easy enough for anyone to use.
It does take learning to udnerstand all the features of the system

SAP Concur was recently rolled out within our company. The setup is fairly simple, but a dedicated support person was available each step of the way. We are now processing expense reports without all of the fuss of paper receipts.
There are some notifications that are non-existent. Our accounting department does not get notified that a report is ready to be processed.

We have been using Concur now for a couple years and it has cut back the time and cost of doing accounts payable in half at least. We really like Concur and we plan to keep using this software in the future.
The product is very easy to learn and easy to teach to employees. It takes care of all of our accounts payable needs including invoices and expenses reports submitted by employees. We also have the Concur travel application and our sales team is very happy with this. Easy to book travel and find good deals.
I wish there were some more standard accounting reports included, but if you need a specific report Concur can usually customize one for you.

Our experience with SAP Concur was excellent, we are really looking forward to keep using it for future projects
We needed an app to approve hundreds of consultant's expenses and match our accounting. SAP Concur solved this for us. We loved the remotely review and approve, solved 90% of our previous issues. One of the best user friendly UX we ever tried. The import into our accounting ERP was flawless.
The only issue we have with this app is the price, if they would offer an affordable plan for small businesses, that would be great.

Numerous, but mainly timely expense reimbursement and processing.
This software is extremely user friendly. It allows expense approvals to easily be synced and linked to your accounting department.
Some vendors and expenses that auto populate seem to be duplicative. At times you need to spend time cleaning up those expenses

I didn't really like it. Limited options and took a lot of time to get a reservation done.
I think the big draw for using it was the backend control that finance/accounting could have on travel purchases.
As a user, it was difficult to use. I could do searches online for flights, etc. and they wouldn't show up on Concur. Hard to navigate.

With a full suite of products SAP Concur makes submitting for company reimbursements easy and tracking spending while on business travel.
The time to approval can take awhile sometimes but this would be dependent on your specific organization and their policies.

Its API support your developer to integrate it with your existing system and with in few minutes you get your business expense.
While Integration developer face issue for less documentation availability. You have to dig more for data in API to get your results.
