Pros

It is one of the easy to use software and super user friendly. I would recommend this software to anyone trying to have time and money on Travel and expense management.
I love the ability to review and approved remotely. I appreciate the emailing of receipts and then being able to easily select them for each expense.
I like the ease of filling out each section without assistance. The best part is changing currency rates without having to do the math yourself.

Cons

When you do have to enter information, it is PAINFUL. The interface looks old and messy, and adding images and receipts is a unnecessarily difficult process due to bad thumbnails and image viewing.
I find it a bit confusing to use. Maybe it's because the way it is configured in my company, but it is too much information in one visual that you might get lost when selecting the proper option.
My app often freezes out and says "analyzing" for days. I worry my receipt image will be lost.

Pros

Straight forward expense management procedure for users. Does not take much time to create a report. New feature for automatic receipt matching using Machine Learning is appreciable.

Cons

Convenient Software Platform For Processing Claims

It is massive time saving. User can track the status of their claim on Concur easily. Once the claim is approved Concur will automatically send email through IBM Notes.

Pros

Concur is very helpful for claim request, I no need to write manually. Simply create an expense report for the claim to be processed. There are many claim options that user can choose from Concur including parking claim, food expenses, and travel expenses. User can attach the scanned or e-receipt for the expenses conveniently. The related project will can be found on Concur for employees travelling for the projects. The Concur report can be submitted online to the finance team without having to print the reports.

Cons

Concur will charge for each submitted report created. Hence, it is advised for user to create only one expense report each month and list all the incurred expenses within the report.

I get my expense claim and reimburse through this Software

Pros

Concur's web layout is very efficient and it is easy to navigate all the features easily. You can start an expense on your mobile and finish it on your laptop. It is relatively easy to upload scans or camera images of paper receipts for expenses.

Cons

Simpler reporting tool - this one is a little clunky. The hotel allocation is clumsy if the expense automatically feeds into the system.

Pros

Cons

lack of syncing connector of its own for transferring data to QB. Reports are not exported in excel.

Pros

In the tool we can create expenses, attach receipts, can get the entire audit trail, approval flows, can modify claims. Can track each and every activity at any given point of time. Duo Duplicate entry being allowed against single claims .

Cons

Not many features are available, cant add new expense category on our own, Only way to login is SSO, direct login doesn't work, takes time to load pages. can only use inbuilt features and cant add anything new. So many inputs to be entered for repetitive tasks, there must be able to create smae task for multiple dates to simplify the ease of use.

Overall this is a very useful application and really helps organisation with a reliable timely and organised way of tracking the expense claims.

Pros

I’ve been using this as the company uses this for expense claims. This is very user friendly and you can use it on web and on mobile. You can also upload all your receipts on your mobile. It is also easy to creatr project claims so you can track them one by one. It also automatically converts any foreign currency in your local currency so your claim will all be in one currency.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a while before the expense claim is approved and audited. Also, when it is linked to credit card sometimes it automatically assume an expense category which is sometimes incorrect (i.e a meal that is a dinner is being tagged as lunch etc).

Unnecessary complex workflow

Concur was brought in to replace our internal developed system. After a year we are now looking at alternatives.

Pros

Ability of uploading of scanned receipts help reducing the paperwork and minimize the chance losing physical receipts.

Cons

Expense claim workflow does not make sense to users. Too many fields and screens to complete a simple expense claim which should have be done in a single pane. Approval process designed for Finance team but not intuitive for other users.

So far, it's very rigid and compared to how it was sold, it falls well short of the sales pitch, not impressed at all.

Pros

Not much. It's very rigid and falls well short of the claims made by the sales people.

Cons

I take pictures and have to retype everything anyways, total waste of time software.

Concur helps with expense management

SAP Concur helps with the entire process from making travel bookings to managing expenses.

Pros

Concur makes it easy for my team and I to submit and monitor expense claims especially related to client travel. The workflows are clear and effective so it's easy to know where expense claims are in their process. It is also very helpful to complete the actual travel bookings.

Cons

Some of the features get the job done but can be a little clunky for a user experience perspective. One example is that I occasionally have challenges with the train booking feature.

The level of automation in this tool is awesome ,majority of expense gets approved whithin time . Creating an expanse is very easy and one-off f best you can use this on your mobile so you can claim it any time and tracking is very easy.

Pros

One of the beautiful feature is you pay from your bussiness card and you can claim that expanse directly.

Cons

There should be provision where cancelled transition returned to user if it paid already. This is the one seem missing in this.

I use SAP Concur to submit expense claims when travelling on business away from my main place of work.

Pros

Very simple method to manage company expenses. Compose individual expenses and group into larger trip claim requests. Camera option to record receipts. Review requests and track line manager approval status.

Cons

Can be quite a lot of fields to complete for smaller claims, though this may be employer setup. Option to create empty trips to add expenses incrementally would be welcome.

Easy to use software for all expense related matters

From a user point of view, I can see why SAP Concur is one of the top claim solutions out there. It is extremely easy to use once you get the hang of it, and the mobile app actually helps a lot in tracking receipts especially if you travel a lot and might misplace receipts.

Pros

SAP Concur is well integrated with other transportation applications such as Uber / Grab which makes submitting claims that much easier. Concur has a clean finish and there were serious thought that was put into the UI, compared to some of the other SAP CRM modules out there. Concur has prefilled exchange rates which is linked directly with the exchange rate of the day for more accuracy.

Cons

There is too many fields to fill when submitting one line item of claim. The previous expense claim solution we had took much shorter time to fill up and submit. Attaching more than one documents is also difficult as you would have to continously save and upload again to append to previous documents.

Easy to use especially on the go!

Pros

Easy to use and there is a camera function that allows you to take a picture of a receipt and upload it to the site. Excellent if you are on the go and don't have access to a computer.

Cons

You have to choose the right department for submitting receipts for reimbursements otherwise your claim will get bounced back to you!

Easier expense management for me and finance

Pros

Capture receipt images on the fly, can do everything from mobile. See status of claims and what needs to be fixed if it's missing info.

Cons

Web interface is a bit dated, could do with larger clearer text fields and headings. Offset by being able to handle everything in iOS app though.

Great Way to Manage Billing & Receipts!

SAP Concur simplifies expense reporting for both the users making the claims, and the HR and finance teams that have to deal with approvals and payments for it.

Pros

SAP Concur is what we use to manage employee billing and reimbursement. It makes it easy to organize receipts into categories and make sure they are filed correctly. It simplifies the approval process for reimbursement claims and employee expenses. It also helps to track these expenses and keep receipts on file for the future.

Cons

SAP Concur is not the simplest software to use. There is thorough documentation, but you often need to double-check if you are filing something correctly as it is not always clear.

User Experience

The easy and simple flow or expense recording and processing for approval followed by claim settlement has made it very convenient and solved the much painful documentation which is required otherwise in manual recording and settlement.

Pros

The application is well planned for expense recording and claim settlement. Once you create an account and record your expenses on various categories like fuel, stationary, meals, business trips etc. you can submit the file for approval which is streamlined to respective reporting lines as defined by your admin. Once the approval is completed the payment gets released as per your organisations' disbursement process. Over all great tool for expense and claim reporting.

Cons

The user interface is little basic and gets annoying at times when it doesn't load some features or drop down that needs to be selected.

1. Ample amount of features that makes the platform very useful and relevant for large business 2. Audit trail and review system is very good and handy to monitor the status of your claim

Cons

1. If you have multiple bills that needed to be added to the system, it becomes very tedious to add each expense entry 2. There are issues with decimal round-off system because of which the system doesn't accept the expense entry at times

I have never contacted the company directly, only put through feedback to our Iconic management.

Pros

I dont like it at all, I feel it is so old school and makes it really hard to put in a claim. Its easier to do on your mobile rather that the desktop.

Cons

How many times you have to go back and submit something as it never asked you in the initial part however has to be completed for you to be able to submit a claim.

The easiest and more organised way to get paid

Very smooth experience. To scan the receipts, I did use the mobile application. Other than writing down the amount you claim it is good to have a digital copy of the receipt.

Pros

I liked that they have thought of almost everything. What I mean is that if I was a manager and I would need to pay an employee for expenses I would probably ask for the same data and proof. There are no information missing from the report and the company can have also statistics of expenses by using this software instead of filling papers.

Cons

From the moment you submit your expenses, till they are confirmed by your supervisors there is much anticipation whether you used the software correctly or if something is missing. Then you need to keep all the receipts in case something did go as planned and you need to resubmit.

I like how I don't have to submit my receipts in hard copy and I can detail more information in my expenses claims. Also, I can use this on the go with my mobile app.

Cons

There are too many features and not enough help to assist with the completion of some fields. Would appreciate if each page has a quick help box to help users. For example, I encountered an exception that I wasn't able to identify until I checked online for help.
