Pros

I love the ability to review and approved remotely. I appreciate the emailing of receipts and then being able to easily select them for each expense.
It is one of the easy to use software and super user friendly. I would recommend this software to anyone trying to have time and money on Travel and expense management.
I like the ease of filling out each section without assistance. The best part is changing currency rates without having to do the math yourself.

Cons

My app often freezes out and says "analyzing" for days. I worry my receipt image will be lost.
When you do have to enter information, it is PAINFUL. The interface looks old and messy, and adding images and receipts is a unnecessarily difficult process due to bad thumbnails and image viewing.
I find it a bit confusing to use. Maybe it's because the way it is configured in my company, but it is too much information in one visual that you might get lost when selecting the proper option.

Pros

Paperless processing of AP. The ability to have a paperless approval flow and an organized way to process, review, and pull AP files.

Cons

Time lag between approval of AP and remittance of check or ACH. Lack of features/options. It seems like Invoice is new for Concur and still being improved.

Cons

It is not a very user friendly software. Most software I've encouraged, I can go right in and find my way around. I need actual training for this one. Still no complaints though, considering the payoff.

Absolutely terrible. They couldn't handle our AP needs, and couldn't even handle their own! We received an invoice for their services 14 months after the service period, several months after we had terminated our services with them. We gave Concur a year and had nothing but struggles with their service.

Pros

The software has the capabilities needed and desired for good AP processing/workflow.

Cons

The SAP Concur staff doing the invoice processing obviously have no idea what they're doing. They are poorly trained. When I called for service or clarification on an issue, nobody was ever able to answer my questions. The only person I spoke with who seemed to understand me was the sales rep. I have a very bad experience with SAP, I don't recommend it at all, very long time for implementation still have a lot of errors in the system and now they move me to support and very hard to deal with support any small problem will take days to weeks to solve, the recurring transaction is very bad, they promise they have it at the sales meeting, yes they have it but it's not working compared to QuickBooks QuickBooks is way better than SAP, also the users cant see the history of the invoice they approve, some pages can download to excel and other not, it is very hard to manage data with this application. also the people I work with maybe they don't have good experience and knowledge of the software, but all in all not recommended

Overall I love Concur, It makes everything easier and I know our AP department loves it also.

Pros

With concur I can take a picture of a receipt with my phone and submit my expense tespotbright from my phone, it last very easy to use. Keeps your history, let you know when your expenses were approved, and because I can immediately upload my receipts by taking a photo I no longer have to try to keep up with all the paper receipts, or also calculates mileage for you when you enter the to & from address. Since we have been using concur I receive my expense checks quicker and no longer have to keep folders with receipt copies. This has been wonderful

Cons

I don’t really have any drawback. My only issue would be for some reason my account is linked to some old expenses from 2013 prior to me being with the company and I have not figured out how to get them off.

The only missing part of this product is lacking the reporting feature. Every reports need to be done manually.

Concur allows for some solid group buying across air, hotel, and travel options. Expenses can be easily paid for on a central corporate card or or individualized cards in the field. All expenses are easily transferred into a central accounting system for payments. The online AP and mobile AP are a little clunky at times, but function well enough. Overall, their customer service is ok and the cost is fairly reasonable however their are other solutions that work easier.

Electronic submission of expenses is so amazing and automation especially with automatic payments is the great!

Pros

It is so easy to submit all expenses electronically and then have all the approvals be automated and go to my supervisor without my intervention

Cons

It was harder than I thought it would be to learn the system, but now all my favorites and templates are saved and it takes no time at all to submit expenses.

Easy to use Expense Tracker Software

This has sped up our processing time of employee expense reports. Not only does it get bills generated quicker but we get items paid faster and spend much less time in excel putting together reports for our AP department to process. Time is money and this saves us money and headaches.

Pros

This software has taken us out of the stone age and using Excel sheets to track our employees expense reports to a now more usable software that is not only easy to navigate but much more timely to track expenses and get items paid and billed in.

Cons

This software works as intended and we have no complaints at this time.

Ease of quickly being reimbursed after a work trip

Pros

I travel often for my organization and quick reimbursement is critical for me so that funds are available for my next trip. Concur provides a direct line to my AP department for quick payment as taking photos of your expenses and generating an expense report is done easily by a few clicks. This is a huge time saver for me and provides a solid history of your past trips and expenses.

Cons

The only con I have for Concur is you have to input dates twice. Once during the initial start of the day and next the expense date on your receipt. Though this is error on my part I believe this could make the experience a little better.

Tool for expensive reports and reimbursements

My overall user experience is good but I think the developing team can make this application's user interface more intuitive.

Pros

The user interface is friendly for a user to create an expense report. All the reimbursement can be calculated and claimed through online processes. There are three features in SAP Concur: Concur Expense, Concur Invoice, and Concur Travel. My company's employees can use this application to submit expenses reports from anywhere. Our accountant and high-level managers can get automated and integrated AP processes, which is very useful for the managers to know the big picture of the travels/expenses statistics.

Cons

When there are expenses without travel requirements, it is not intuitive while using SAP Concur to create an expense report in this situation. I hope the developing team can make this feature easier to be used.

The level of automation in this tool is awesome ,majority of expense gets approved whithin time . Creating an expanse is very easy and one-off f best you can use this on your mobile so you can claim it any time and tracking is very easy.

Pros

One of the beautiful feature is you pay from your bussiness card and you can claim that expanse directly.

Cons

There should be provision where cancelled transition returned to user if it paid already. This is the one seem missing in this.

Great Reimbursement Tool but Lacks User Friendly Interface

Overall I enjoy SAP Concur but will probably switch to Expesify later down the road.

Pros

The things I like most about SAP Concur is the receipt capturing software and the detailed expense reporting that I can do. I enjoy the mobile app more than the desktop app and the approval process is very easy.

Cons

The things I like least are the user interface and the non-automation. I find it to be very busy and clunky in finding what I need to categorize and expense. The desktop version is also a lot busier than the app version which could use some updating.

Overall it is very easy to submit expense report using SAP Concur, it saves time and effort, mobile phone app enables quick entry and minimise time lag. A joy to use in the office and on the road.

Pros

much easier to submit expenses this way compared to manually fill-in forms and attach receipt to A4 paper like in the old days, availability on mobile phone is another step towards automation, can't wait for business travel to restart and use this to book flights hotels and meals in foreign cities

Cons

couldn't figure out a way to submit multiple photos relating to the same expense item, e.g. merchant receipt and credit card statement to show FX rate and/or tips added

Travelers Love it

This is a travel expense automation software that is easy for travelers to use and facilitates their reimbursement while ensuring company policies are met. It works very well for that and people in our company who were heavy users in prior jobs wish they had this tool now. We are committed to another product but I have high respect for this tool and believe it is very traveler-friendly, while keeping proper business controls.

Pros

Starting an expense report is easy - just scan your first receipt and it starts a new expense claim if you don't tag it to an existing trip. No need to wait until coming home with a wallet full of receipts to get your expense report going - can toss the receipts once it is scanned. Uses OCR technology to read critical data of the receipt and fills it in to your expense claims, saving time. It allows many controls to be built into the approval process to weed out potential fraud and ensure submissions comply with company policy.

Cons

Can be difficult to implement on platforms other than SAP.

Not Really Automated AP

Horrible. We told the product would work for our needs and we specifically asked prior to using the product that terms discounts would be easily handled. That was a complete lie. We specifically asked if it could handle multiple discounts for one vendor as we have several terms for just one vendor depending on the purchase. We were told it could handle multiple terms, which in fact it can not. It does not even calculate terms. We asked a lot of questions and our concerns were met with positivity that the product would work for our needs. Not so much. This is a huge deal breaker.

Pros

Implementation was helpful and support was good, but the fixes from support were typically, "oh you will have to use this work around", or "no we can handle that".

Cons

Too many limitations and the work arounds make it not an "automated AP processing". Has several limitation when it comes to the following items: Terms discounts, can not compute. Limit in invoice number extraction = 11 so we have several invoices where the invoice number was short by at least 1 digit and that is a problem when it comes to paying those vendors outside of Concur., since the vendor...

System driven approvals, audit trail = major control positives. Seamless interface with Accounting system (SAP). Ease of use for volume users. Prompt helpdesk resolution. Standardisation of approvals / payment processes across large , multi divisional organisations.

Cons

Bespoke / Automated Reporting Capabilities need to be improved / made more user driven. Dosent always give Senior Management the KPI / Dashboard information that proves how powerful the product is. Current version is restrictive in some regards - screen resolution / cursor missing issues, which while not major, cause irritation to users and thus damage the products image.
