Pros

I love the ability to review and approved remotely. I appreciate the emailing of receipts and then being able to easily select them for each expense.
It is one of the easy to use software and super user friendly. I would recommend this software to anyone trying to have time and money on Travel and expense management.
I like the ease of filling out each section without assistance. The best part is changing currency rates without having to do the math yourself.

Pros

I really had an awesome experience using this amazing software. When i started using it, my office communication and timeliness has greatly improved with time and it has been awesome.
The tech support is outstanding. I can call them and they are always helpful and very patient with a physician who may not totally understand every nuance of the program.
I loved how the application was super easy to use. The navigation part of the application, made my daily workflow easier.

Cons

My app often freezes out and says "analyzing" for days. I worry my receipt image will be lost.
When you do have to enter information, it is PAINFUL. The interface looks old and messy, and adding images and receipts is a unnecessarily difficult process due to bad thumbnails and image viewing.
I find it a bit confusing to use. Maybe it's because the way it is configured in my company, but it is too much information in one visual that you might get lost when selecting the proper option.

Cons

All upgrades, additions, or troubleshooting falls back on the customer, because they assume all customers employ a full-time IT staff, and they blame any failures or problems on the customer.
Then they charged my bank account for it. When I emailed to inquire why they charged me they said they were not going to let me out of my contract early.
The lack of new features and the lack of complete integration between the EHR and the EPM, the lack of integration causes issues in development.

Typically if you have any issue or lack of knowledge on something, Concur support typically reaches back quickly and definitely resolves any concerns/issues. We use it for expense reporting for my company about business trips or travel between home and office.

Pros

The only thing I liked in this software is that if I manage to submit an expense report in concur, I will get my money back for it.

Cons

Sometimes my session gets timed out while filling the form, and it doesn't keep my data when I click the submit button, so I have to start the whole process again from the beginning. The UI looks quite old, and also not too user friendly from UX perspective.

It's probably easier to use for admins and accountants, but for a general user who has to submit expenses, it wasn't too great.

Pros

I just used it to submit expenses of office equipment, but it looks like it has a pretty seamless integration for travel expenses.

Cons

The workflow was confusing to submit an expense. You have to go through multiple steps and it's not entirely obvious how you submit a report. Also, you can't upload multiple screenshots for receipts. You also get email notifications that update the status of your submission but it doesn't highlight what changed so you have to look at it closely to see what the status change was.

it saves me so much time and is easy to use

Pros

doing expenses when you are out from the office is really simple using this tool. you can add an expense, add a receipt from your camera by taking a picture or add one from your device (phone or laptop). as a manager the approval of expenses from staff is really very simple and means you dont have to wait until your admin day back at the office

Cons

probably the only two thing are 1. that the apple phone app and android phone app have different functionality . 2. if you approve someone else expenses you cant go back and review it after you have approved it in the the way you can review your own submitted expenses

Concur can cover everything business expense, and allows for timely and proper tracking. You can get reimbursed for everything, from office purchases to plane tickets. You can also check for flights, hotels and rentals.

This software has saved us a lot of time reviewing paper reports and matching up receipts., calling for lost receipts. It has cut down our time checking from 2 hours to about 30 min.

Pros

I like most that the sale team can snap a picture of the receipt with their phone and it goes right into the computer, so no lost or paper receipts to handle on the office side.

Cons

Sometimes it misreads the receipt; it happens on all expense software I'm sure.

I find using Concur in my job to be very helpful. It helps contribute to a paperless environment, and is helpful with keeping track of payments made and payments pending. Overall it has helped keep our office organized.

Pros

Our company uses Concur to set up payments to vendors. It is easy to use, and it helps with going paperless. You upload your invoices into Concur and set up payments. I find it is easier to scan/upload invoices as you receive them, one at a time; otherwise it can be a little overwhelming if you scan and upload many invoices all at once. Easy to keep track of payments made, and payments pending.

Cons

Trying to locate saved vendors can be a little tricky at times. You have to enter the EXACT name of the vendor in order for the system to locate it.

We use SAP Concur for all travel related expense reporting, booking, approvals. Its a SaaS product with easy integration with back office finance applications so that works great! I would say its a good tool but not a great one!

Pros

1. Great integration with your corporate card and SAP finance system 2. Intuitive interface for users, easy report extraction for admins 3. Collecting receipts, booking travel, re-imbursements is simplified with easy approval process flow and ability to customize the process

Cons

We could have stronger integrations with other products like Tripit Searching can be clunky with not enough integration with other hotel chains. I find there are too many clicks to get a job done. In the age of great UI, this seems like a limitation

The ease of sharing files with departments that paid out expenses with a company that made us pay for expenses upfront to be reimbursed.

Pros

I like the ease of uploaded receipts and any supporting documents to keep track of all expenses. If you are full time on the road doing business of in the office everyday Concur makes it easy to keep track of expenses to be reimbursed.

Cons

No issues with using this software with a midsize company and it was easy to be reimbursed

I have been using SAP Concur since the time i have joined office for my monthly expense reporting and reimbursements, The work becomes easier as the reports once submitted are processed and reviewed automatically by the concerned team, and reduces the efforts of manual submission and followups.

This is such a time saver when trying to do complete expense reports. The ability of taking the pics of the receipts and upload right in the phone makes it a no brainer and cloud access. I am not standing beside a scanner in office trying to upload receipts. Submit and its done.

Excellent way to book travel

Pros

This allows me to book candidate travel to and from our office for interviews in a quick and seamless way. Candidates book travel that is convenient for them, allows for them to arrange flights, hotel and transport to and from the airport. It allows them to up load receipts for tracking expenses as well.

Cons

We sometimes have to use a 3rd party vendor for hotel account management and that sometimes gets tedious as we are constantly doing things more than once. It would be nice for a contract to be made through the concur site so that we don' t have to worry about signing approval forms.

My operation guy signed on due to slick sales presentation but back office is horrible. Customer support does not know the system, over priced, pushes you to email, and Client success manager has turned over 3 times. on 4th contact in 8 months. I am on this site to find a replacement.

Poor interface overshadows otherwise solid feature set

Definitely an improvement on not using any expense management software, but there must be competitors that are easier to use

Pros

- I like the ability to "act as" another user - makes delegation of tasks much simpler.

Cons

- Quite outdated UI/UX which leads to a cluttered view. This means it's not as intuitive to end-users as it could be. There have definitely been several office frustrations at not knowing how to complete certain actions. - I have only ever attached receipts to one department, why is this not the default for me? Or perhaps it can be set to be, but is hidden somewhere in the interface!

Overall I would recommend Concur Expense, given there is a learning curve, but once you get used to it, things work pretty smoothly.

Pros

I use Concur Expense at work to expense for office related expenses. It works quite well, gives you the ability to bundle all the related expense under one expense report, upload an expense receipt separately from the expense which can be later used in an expense. One of my favourite features is automatically creating the expense when a receipt is uploaded.

Cons

There is a learning curve to use the software. It took me a while to understand how to upload an expense from the android app. The terminologies expense, expense report are not intutive for a new user. Personally, I find the web UI also cluttered.

I did do the screen lock as I felt the company behind the app knew what they were doing it a big software company. The ease of submitting my expenses and keeping my life in order all on my device is a plus i do not have to pull out a box later looking for something or input later and do a report just run it from the app.

Pros

I was introduced to this software working as a Scrum Master on my mobile device. I had to put the expenses from hotels, car rentals, food using this app. I do need to keep track of expenses and have a easy way to send them to the client to despoit into the bank account. It does what it says and the company behind this product we felt it a soild app to use, compared to some upstarts that may not be around after a few years time.

Cons

Tell me to place a screen lock on my device is what it said after installing this app. I would like to have had a chocie of this as the screen lock added more time to my using the device and was a second password to add for using the app. This was a debate here at the office of adding a screen lock if you did not have one in place before.

Expense reporting made easy

My overall experience with SAP Concur has been satisfactory. It has allowed me to manage my business expenses on official trips and conferences digitally without needing physical resources like pen and paper. I would recommend implementing this software for medium to large businesses who have executives traveling frequently. But not for smaller businesses where there is less travel related expenses because ROI would be low. As long as there is accounting background and frequent expense reporting, its worth investing in SAP Concur.

Pros

I use SAP Concur to track travel and business trip expenses. So, my partner and I can manage our budget accordingly. My favorite feature about SAP Concur is its ability to capture hotel or gas bills as an image and attach it to a specific project. I also like its ability to integrate with airlines and hotels booking, so I don't have to go to those reservation sites separately. My accountant finds it easy to work with SAP Concur reports when e-filing my year end taxes. So, overall a great financial analysis and expense reporting tool.

Cons

SAP Concur doesn't work that well with Google suite or Chrome browser. Because it is optimized to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and office products. Password reset and error tracking is not that efficient. Uploading images of receipts for expense reporting is complex to understand for a new user. Customizing the software to meet specific accounting practices for a specific business takes some extra effort. Experience in accounting and erp software use is a must to maximize potential of SAP Concur.

Confusing to use and not intuitive

I do not like using this software because it is difficult to use and I dread having to file my expense reports.

Pros

It allows me to file my travel expenses and reimbursement forms online.

Cons

This is probably due to my lack of experience in using the app, but I don't find it intuitive or easy to use. I use this app when I need to file travel expenses through my university and every time I need to use it, I have to be walked through how to use it by someone in the business office who is used to working with this software. I don't find the interface intuitive, easy to use, or even very nice looking.

One of the most unnecessarily frustrating systems I've ever used

Horrible system and huge inconvenience, although it seems after many years Concur is finally starting to address user issues to improve their system.

Pros

My university requires us to use Concur to file all of our expenses for job-related travel. At first, it seemed like a nice system. I used to app to take pictures of receipts, which was handy. Also, it seems that they very recently upgraded their system to make it more usable.

Cons

Almost every time I submitted an expense report, it was returned with errors. I am a PhD candidate, and for the life of me I could not seem to get these reports correct. One big problem was that my departments gives us per diem for food expenses, but Concur would always create an error if our total expenses did not add up to the exact amount of approved funding. So I often had to worked with our department...

Concur=Confusing

Overall, I wish our company used a less confusing system to document our expenses. It is time-consuming to figure out the workflow and terminology of this system every time that I use it for different expenses. I would not recommend this product from a user standpoint. I do not know if a better product exists and unfortunately, I do not make these kinds of decisions in my office.

Pros

It is hard for me to nail down a certain thing about Concur that I actually like to use. I guess the notifications for the approval process are the only items that this system gets right. I am more in the 'con' camp for this software as opposed to the 'pro' camp.

Cons

The workflow is confusing, the terminology is confusing, the entire user interface is confusing. I do not like this product! Part of this could be that my company does not do training on Concur aside from a simple SkillSoft training that offers limited information and help. I feel that this product could use an entire redesign. It is too confusing for the end-user unless it is used daily in my personal opinion.
