Pros

I love the ability to review and approved remotely. I appreciate the emailing of receipts and then being able to easily select them for each expense.
It is one of the easy to use software and super user friendly. I would recommend this software to anyone trying to have time and money on Travel and expense management.
I like the ease of filling out each section without assistance. The best part is changing currency rates without having to do the math yourself.

Pros

Workday does an amazing job with a great interface allowing the user to easily learn the system while not sacrificing the work being done. Easy, affordable, maintainable.
Overall experience with Workday Financial Management has been fantastic. Great capabilities that can integrate very well with other Workday modules.
I love how user friendly it is. You can find anything and everything with ease.

Cons

My app often freezes out and says "analyzing" for days. I worry my receipt image will be lost.
When you do have to enter information, it is PAINFUL. The interface looks old and messy, and adding images and receipts is a unnecessarily difficult process due to bad thumbnails and image viewing.
I find it a bit confusing to use. Maybe it's because the way it is configured in my company, but it is too much information in one visual that you might get lost when selecting the proper option.

Cons

Hard to learn at first- errors pop up at times.
My overall experience with Workday is sometimes frustrating since I cannot get the reports I need to do my job.
Employees will accept having to use Workday to manage their taxes, etc. I'm not aware of an alternative for large companies. It will, however, be a perpetual pain point for employees.

Overall useful and it is used widely by many companies. It could help with some refreshing.

Pros

It seamlessly integrate with other tools our company has such as workday. It houses corporate travel and expense tools all in one web application.

Cons

Some of the UI layout is very old and sometimes hard to maneuver through. Being a new user wasnt fun and had to ask other for support. Also when trying to change cost centers, etc it did not do a good job at representing that change

The dashboard is very informative about the current expenses and their states. Submitting a new expense is fairly simple and can be assisted by the various categories and pre populated dropdowns to choose from

Entering expenses is never fun, and generally, never easy. The Concur app, while not perfect, definitely speeds up the process. The photo receipts feature is great.

Cons

Not super intuitive. I had to have the financial team show me how to break out ant itemize longer receipts with multiple expense categories on them. Seems like each step requires a click or two more than necessary.

This helps with our financial audits to show that there are not material deficiencies in expense reporting and GL. We are able to show approved these expenses and for what reason these expenses are for.

Pros

Concur has many features to expense approvals. You can set certain thresholds where a 2nd person may need to do an extra approval. You are also able to attach receipts on every itemized line. In addition, there is an audit log to see what has changed and who has approved the expense.

Cons

The user-interface is very cluttered and it can be a bit overwhelming to fill out all the fields. All the fields are shown in one screen so it is hard to know what necessary fields need to be filled out. After getting used to the software, however, it should be no problem. Training of staff is highly advised.

I am primarily an end-user on this software. I like how thorough it is, even though it can get rather technical.

Cons

I needed very clear instructions on how to meet our companies procedures for entering both expenses as well as Purchase Orders - It took me a couple times to get the hang of it, but once I got it, I am doing well with it.

Keeps reported expenses together and allows employees to easily submit expenses. Direct deposit makes it easy to reimburse employees quickly

Cons

Can be a little difficult for some employees while submitting reviews. some have had issues with uploading reciepts.

All the features you need for Expense Management

Easy, fast, and transparent Expense Management

Pros

Concur Expense Management has all the features you need for expense management. It's customizible/flexible, can bill to departments, and manage taxes and policies specific to geographies. The mobile application makes it very simple to take pictures of receipts on the go, and automatically make them available in expense reports. I also am enjoying the Uber integration that automatically produces receipts and makes them available in Concur after taking a trip.

Cons

Ideally it would be a bit easier and more visible for people doing their expenses to control which individual department they are billing an individual line item to. Most of our employees mix different kinds of expenses into one expense report, so that feature would be nice for budget holders.

Pros

User interface is good, fairly straightforward with enough flexibility to accommodate for most/all my needs in expense reports and travel management. Nice receipt management through the app.

Cons

I like for the most part. Minor issues on the request side, but our organization is using outside of the original use-case.

Capture receipt images on the fly, can do everything from mobile. See status of claims and what needs to be fixed if it's missing info.

Cons

Web interface is a bit dated, could do with larger clearer text fields and headings. Offset by being able to handle everything in iOS app though.

Entering Expenses Made Easy

Easy entry and management of receipts for travel reimbursement.

Pros

It's easy to use and customizable in that you can add so many different codes/categories for expenses, as well as departments. I only used this software to submit expense reports but I could see how valuable it is for our accounting department. To my knowledge, my old company used it for years with no complaints. Attaching receipts is also quite easy

Cons

I wish there was an option to print a report from my iPhone. As far as I can tell, this can only be done via a computer. Also, there was a lag in the mobile app when I upgraded to a new smart phone.

Expense management that simplifies the whole experience

Overall an excellent solution that simplifies expense management.

Pros

Usually doing expenses is a tedious and frustrating task. The advent of automated expense reporting is one of the biggest boons to productivity. The best part is being able to take a snapshot of a receipt and letting the app populate all relevant fields. It's also quite easy to enter expenses manually, if needed. The other nice thing is being about to book travel and management expenses from a single portal. The other key distinction is the ability to generate detailed reporting based on various key metrics. Concur has been around for a while and support and help documentation is excellent.

Cons

Occasionally the smart scan fails, which means you have to go back in and re-enter in the receipt data. So for more complex receipts this may not work properly.

Greater financial control of expenses, more accurate data, saving time in administrative procedures. Automates the travel and expenses process by importing many of the necessary data to file a claim for travel expenses, credit cards and electronic receipts. As a result, much of the manual process of filling out an expense report is eliminated. The automated pre-filling of data also helps increase accuracy. In addition, having all this data in one place means that it is accessible and can be used for reports, with the appropriate level of detail necessary to keep the management team happy.

Pros

Most CFOs want to make sure they select a solution that will help them manage their travel and expense bookings. The Concur solution does this, of course, but also improves the visibility of expenses, while ensuring compliance with the latest VAX and tax regulations of the SAP.

Cons

As a user, the most cumbersome of the system is having to upload the photos of the consumptions made. This takes a lot of time.

Although SAP Concur is great software but pricing is high for small and medium enterprises. Also, it is little cumbersome to integrate SAP Concur with our ERP tools.
