Getting results (or partial results) out of EASA can be more difficult than it needs to be. For example, copying and pasting data from a table in EASA doesn't work well.

I am not sure whether the platform it runs on has been properly sized but, whatever the reason, the resulting "web application" it is a nightmare to work with.

I would first like to mention the stars above may not directly line up with our experience. We had an initial excel application we wanted to get online for people within our company, clients and potential clients to use. To have a web developer build something like this from scratch would have been very expensive. We had a smaller budget and were looking for something we could have built for us and then have taken over the reigns to modify it without a ton of ongoing expenses or having to reach out to the developer to make every little change. With a combination of the EASA team building the web app through their platform and a colleague learning the ins-and-outs of coding and how their framework works, we were able to successfully complete our project and make most changes in-house.

A Web Application Based on Excel

While I am not a programmer by any sense of the word, EASA makes it so easy to build and update web applications.  We have used EASA for almost three years, we have just started to scratch the surface with integrating it into different divisions and processes.  I believe we will continue and expand.

From Vision to Application

We have built a suite of web tools to control, manage and disseminate user friendly web tools that capture highly complex earthquake engineering technology.  We provide these tools to our commercial tendering teams so they can generate seismic certificates of compliance to satisfy earthquake requirements for electrical equipment servicing critical infrastructure.  The EASA apps are highly robust and run on any browser without the need to have software engineers maintain the apps.  EASA has been a game changer for us.

No need for software coders

I have to use it because my employer adopted it. I am not sure whether the platform it runs on has been properly sized but, whatever the reason, the resulting "web application" it is a nightmare to work with.

Hiding your Excel "application" behind a front end? What a terrible idea

We have used EASA to build a basic CPQ tool which we have continued to evolve as we have gone on. This tool consolidated dozens of poor or non-existent processes across our EMEA business and a ticketing tool which has some functionality we don't think an off the shelf tool would have. We are also developing a sophisticated pricing database to replace an old access database. There will also be other applications in future.

Overall we have about 50 very active users and up to 200 in total.

On the whole the EASA team are supportive and responsive when we have issues.


Good RAD tool to empower business users

I love this tool. It allows me as the admin to easily manage user logins, perform regular version updates and monitor usages. The best part is the customer service, which is timely and helpful.

A great tool designed for collaboration and security

EASA as a company is great to work with, along with their product knowledge and support teams. We always have somebody to depend on for any and all questions. Their support team is the best support team we have worked with.
