Pros

The ease of use, the sync'ng capabilities, and the upload features were some of the best. Also, it was very cost effective.
Overall, this is a fantastic application. I set it up completely for my small business in about 30 minutes and the integration with Quickbooks is fantastic.
Integration with my credit card account is a snap and the ability to move that right into a report is amazing. I really love the mobile application as well.

Pros

It's a user friendly service with great customer care, wonderful service if u have a small business.
Fields to fill and perfectly links the data from one end like ap and AR to the bank reconciliation. Great reports on transactions for the month or period if interest.
We love that it helps us streamline efforts, is easy to use, and is easy to train others on. QuickBooks Online has definitely been one of the best technology pieces of our administration.

Cons

With the systems not talking to each other or some other error. Then the TriNet customer service folks are a bit clueless, and it takes weeks for the problems to be resolved.
The website and app seemed a little clunky and tough to navigate. I think that because there were other programs under trinet made things a little confusing when trying to google the website/login.
You have to upload receipts one at a time. This is annoying and takes forever.

Cons

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from the company that is supposed to have your books.
The problem is that doing your own taxes online becomes risky the more you have to account for.
Other than tracking my expenditures, the whole system is a pain. Error messages constantly received because "there's a message from your bank" bla bla bla.

Great Application for Expenses

Overall, this is a fantastic application. I set it up completely for my small business in about 30 minutes and the integration with Quickbooks is fantastic. Incredibly easy to manage and maintain. Integration with my credit card account is a snap and the ability to move that right into a report is amazing. I really love the mobile application as well. Taking a picture of a receipt and loading it directly to my account is pure genius. This saves me about 1 hour per expense report easily.

You don't have to be an accountant to use TriNet Expense

The ease of use, the sync'ng capabilities, and the upload features were some of the best. Also, it was very cost effective.

Pros

This was one of the easiest apps to train people on. Even those staunch pencil pushers really like how easy it was to scan receipts from the mobile app and it would automatically sync with the desktop app, I loved the fact that it was compatible with QuickBooks desktop when we were using it and it saved us hours of keying in the information. It had cut the expense processing time by at least 2/3.

Cons

I was really upset when TriNet decided not to support QB desktop and now supports QB online only. We have to have the desktop version of QB due to our inventory tracking system not available in QB Online. I had to terminate our contract with TriNet. Also, they did not have customizable reporting 3 years ago. Not sure if they do now or not.

Love the software

Its been a while since we used a decent software to track our expenses. We gave TriNet expense a go and we are truly impressed with how user friendly and the simplicity of the platform. We were able to use it on our iOS and Android devices which is a plus and saved us big money as we didn't nee to upgrade any hardware. We were also able to import the expense reports to quickbooks with no hassle. If you haven't tried it, give it a go and you wont regret it

With Tri-Net Expense out Consultants on the road can easily track their expenses on the go using the mobile app, keep receipts electronically and sync expenses from their credit cards. They submit their expenses online for review and approval removing the reliance on the postal system and shorting the turnaround time for reimbursing the employee.

I was prompted by a mate to try this software today. So i signed up online, pulled out my phone and downloaded the app and bam !! i was using it in less than 10 min. No pain and no hassle which is what you want with any app your new to. I must say i am impressed with the interface, ease of use and direct compatibility of Trinet with our companies accounting software. You MUST try this, if you haven't yet.

Mileage and expense tracking helps me save alot

Pros

Mileage tracking is HUGE. Saves you time and I simply track the reasons for different trips. Swipe left for personal and swipe right for business.

Cons

It drains your phone battery and over time even if you turn off location services the battery life never improves the exact same.

I use quickbooks for both business and a non-profit organization I’m the treasurer for and it makes bookkeeping so easy and organized.

Pros

How easy it is to setup and organize your own clients, vendors, income and expense accounts etc.

Cons

When you mark an invoice as load it shows up on a separate line and sometimes is above or below that particular invoice. There’s no consistency and I would prefer to have the invoice line marked paid and then you click that to see the payments.

I like it. Other than the cost, I have no complaints.

Pros

Expense tracking and automated connectivity with your bank accounts are great. Payroll Is super easy to run.

Cons

The cost of payroll gets pretty expensive as your team grows. There is a large difference in the capabilities of basic and premium plans.

Fast and Easy to implement. Finding functionality is not always inutitive.

Pros

Super easy to deploy and it integrates seamlessly with our third party bill payment and expense reporting software.

Cons

lack of custom reporting is a bummer but at this price point i wouldnt expect a lot of bells and whistles.

Easy to use and intuitive software for simple bookkeeping. We have used it for expense and rent income tracking for many years.

Cons

Limited features for scaling up to use as a large company, but great for use by smaller companies with limited transaction levels.

Pros

My favorite feature is the receipt capture by far- being able to utilize the software to keep track of every business expense saves me so much time and energy come tax season. Especially since my business is a side hustle, it really allows me to keep track of everything without the messy portfolio/envelopes full of organized receipts

Cons

I wish it was a little less expensive. But otherwise, it's honestly an excellent tool and well worth a $26 expense

Very easy to use and can be modified to meet your needs. We don't use all the features it has but there are many to explore.

Pros

This was east to convert to from Desktop Pro. All data appears to be working the same and the cost was much lower.

Cons

Writing of customer reports can be diffucult. The budget feature can not do both by class and by income/expense.

It has been good. We love using Quickbooks to process our payroll and keep up with company income and expense.

Pros

We use Quickbooks for all of our accounting throughout our business. We use it to process payroll, as well as, keep up with our incoming and outgoing payments.

Cons

Quickbooks can be difficult to figure out how to correct an issue, however; Quickbooks support staff is amazing and always so very helpful!

Fairly easy to set up and start using even if you are not an accountant.

Pros

Tracking expenses and customer invoices. Can use as a CRM for customer information. Ability to send monthly statements.

Cons

Do not offer a way to add credit card surcharge on invoice automatically. Cannot search for specific type of expense in reports.
