Pros

The ease of use is incredible. The auto match receipts to transactions are very high percentage.

Cons

The instances where you can't auto-match or there are multiple banks transactions to 1 receipt and you have to copy the receipt multiple times to match it.

A life saver!

It reads email attachments, receipts, everything. It's very easy to use and it makes your life so much easier! Plus, they have a wonderful support team that responds to all inquiries within the hour. Thank you! We honestly couldn't be happier!

It's so user-friendly! Everything is so well organized with invoices attached to each expense. Makes it really easy to go through the expenses.

Pros

Ease of use. The software is helpful when traveling.

Cons

Glitches. When it hangs up it can be frustrating when trying to complete reports.

ExpensePoint has definitely met our expense reporting needs!

ExpensePoint is probably the most user friendly expense reporting system on the market both in terms of ease of use and ease of system setup. The ExpensePoint project team led by Paul, Theresa and Matt customized aspects of the system in order to meet all of our business needs without any hesitation. The project was completed on time and at budget. Our users appreciate the flexibility of submitting and approving expense reports through their mobile devices. Our accounting department appreciates the ease of use and system maintenance. Now that we've gone paperless, we've also reduced our environmental footprint and saved valuable storage space. ExpensePoint has definitely met our expense reporting needs!

User Friendly for the Sales Team and Accounting

Expense Point is super easy to use for our sales team. They live at the airport and often use the mobile application with ease. They appreciate confirmation when their expenses are approved to they know when to expect payment. Also, Expense Point was able to host trainings on how to use the application- for free! Accounting adores Expense Point. It was easy to train the sales force and any updates that need to be made for new account codes or general rules are very easy. We uploaded our expense policy on the site for reference. There are drop down fields and free text fields so all information is easily captured and there is no more back and forth. The output file is in excel which makes accounting happy!

Great for a small company

Very positive.

Pros

It is easy to use and makes expense reporting easier for everyone -- especially sales personnel. It is very affordable and one of the few software applications that had strong customer support.

Cons

For training and testing, it would be good to have a 'test' environment that allow people to learn and 'play with' the system. While you cannot really break the system, it can be a little unnerving trying to train individuals while using the live system with real receipt copies.

The site is very easy and gives great visibility into expenses and missing receipts.

Pros

I love that it holds people accountable to turning in their receipts and giving descriptions of what the expenses are for.

Cons

The receipt reader sometimes reads a receipt as "blurry" despite being scanned versus photographed. The receipt can be read from the image provided. It must be glitch that hasn't been worked through yet. However, when the receipt reader works and matches images to transactions on the company credit card it saves TONS of time. We love this feature even though it doensn't always work perfectly.

Wish there was a feature to save the addresses. Due to the nature of my job. The addresses are used often.

Critical Software for Non-profit

The ExpensePoint team took great care to understand the business needs of our non-profit and offered a suite of capability and pricing options that work well with how we operate. The support has been outstanding and flexible. The software is robust and capable for our needs as we grow into the future.

Pros

The expensepoint system is robust in its capability for managing and tracking expenses. The mobile app is especially easy to use and the ability to upload receipts with automatic OCR scanning greatly improves ease-of-use.

Cons

The main web interface feels somewhat dated and confusing. It's fully functional and there are features implemented on the website that cannot be accessed via the mobile app (e.g. adding an email address for receipt uploading).

Awesome Software

We have been using Expense Point for about 2 months now. I was skeptical at first but now I can't say enough about Expense Point and thier employees. The price is reasonable and there is no extra cost for technical support. Theresa and Eva are very knowledgeable on the software and have bent over backwards to help anytime I call. I am able to run reports easily and export them into Excell for analysis. Training on the software was minimal and even our older employees picked up on it quickly. Since it is web based, we can access it on all of our mobile devices without a problem. I would definatley reccomend Expense Point to anyone that wants to accurately track and monitor expenses. I am excited to see what they come up with next.

Customer Service was and is AMAZING!!!

Theresa was great to deal with. Our company is trying to streamline how we do our expenses and Theresa is helping us get there. It has been such a smooth process, we rolled out our new process on Tuesday and quite a few employees are already working on the switch.

I can use the software from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. Can also get quick glance from your mobile phone.

Cons

It is a bit fiddly to install on Windows 10

Very happy with the expense reports that it produces. Easy for employees to use.

Pros

The customer support is top-notch since you get assigned a personal contact who handles your company. Software is easy to use and reports look great. Value for money is also strong.

Cons

There are some features that could be enhanced. Being able to download receipts in JPG format is a big one. Wish there was better syncing options with credit cards like quickbooks has.

The best mobile app for expense reporting I've ever used. Easy to use and seems to be as good as the web based program. or even better ! Customer support is the best in the industry. As the administrator I like the ease of the approval process and the reports I can generate.

Cons

We did not know that ExpensePoint could work with QuickBooks and allow for direct deposit. Our accountant almost signed up with another software. Team quickly responded and provided the necessary forms for our accountant to complete. We are all in with ExpensePoint!

EASY EASY EASY

Transitioning from paper purchase orders and receipts to digital can be scary, but ExpensePoint made it easy for us. In a hurry? Just snap a picture of the receipt with your phone and submit. Done! No hassle of keeping up with receipts. There is a desktop version, too, that works in tandem with the mobile app so you never have to re-enter your expenses. Our staff loves it, and I don't have to track down purchase orders when it is time to pay the bills. The friendly and helpful ExpensePoint reps worked with us to customize the program to fit our needs. I highly recommend ExpensePoint for big and small companies.

Easier to Manage Receipts

This has been a very positive change for the company. Uploading receipts is less stressful for the employees. It's harder to lose receipts when you can take photos of them easily while on the go. It makes my life easier - since I'm not tracking down people for their old receipts. I also like that all statements and receipts are in one place and it's easy to search and filter to see only the information you want. Having the option to run reports on spending trends is also crucial. This will be beneficial when conducting employee reviews.

Pros

The ease of uploading receipts has made a chore (scanning every receipt at the end of the month) a daily task of taking photos. The receipts automatically link to the credit card statement once it is uploaded which makes it much easier to see if there are receipts missing. For me, it makes approving expenses easier and more efficient.

Cons

We are still in the learning stages. Every time I thought I couldn't perform a task, I found out that I could.

The Best expense software, I have ever used.

I am a huge fan of expense point. Finally, an expense report that goes where I go. Both personally as well as administratively. Expense point's mobile app is great. No more loosing or forgetting receipts. I have it on my phone & can attach receipts to my expense reports by just taking a picture and uploading it. Honestly, it's the easiest and most convenient expense software I've ever used and makes doing expenses less of an imposition. The customer service representatives are like no other. They have always resolved every issue I have presented them. I walk away feeling like a pro. Thanks Expense Point!

Very good piece of software. Good mobile app.

Pros

Very easy to use and very intuitive. Users with little computer experience are using it comfortably after a few training sessions!

Cons

Some minor issues with customization and receipt linking. As well, the receipt reader could be a bit more consistent and timely.

Pros

This system is very detailed and offers both an itemized view and receipt view for the report print outs which is great. Very easy to review and approve expense reports also.

Cons

The receipt reader does take a little more time than the last software we used and so sometimes this slows down our process a little. It was also a little difficult to learn at first but once we learned how to use the system it did become quite easy.
