It provides the visibility and tracking the expenses realtime which enables the realtime decision making which will eliminate the postmortem analysis which are costing heavy.
Real time data processing and reporting capabilities which provides the data transparency for any management hierarchy fast and effective way.
it lack of integration with backend ERP systems which are custom build and less support for the integration issues.

Before using expensify, it was crazy to get all the expenses from commercials.
if we could integrate directly to the erp it would be even more perfect, but with the excel it is good too.

When you have employees that travel a lot, it's a pain to collect receipts and keep track of expenses. This solves it.
It was easy to use. It got the job done fast and painless. The interface was clean and intuitive. We loved it.
Nothing really. We moved on to an in-house solution that merged with our existing ERP. Otherwise we'd still use it.

Easy to use, a little bit of effort to implement, average on support.
The mobile app version makes expensify the easiest way to manage and code company expenses. Our company card holders were able to be trained on expensify in one 15 minute training session, and never had to ask for help or support internally.
It took some time to set up and integrate with our ERP (Netsuite). We also had an issue with Bank of America that was hard to navigate, but we found out that it wasn't on Expensify's side.

Getting employees to keep receipts is hard enough, and filling out and submitted "correct" expense reports is near impossible, but Expensify does a great job in creating a platform that is simple to use and yet complex enough to track business expenses back into their ERP system.
While simple, Expensify does lack some features you might expect from an enterprise expense tracking system, and some integrations to Accounting and back-end systems are not as easy to setup as you would like.

From the accounting team to the newly hired sales exec, feedback from employees has been very positive with Expensify. They can use the mobile app as they go, or other import methods to make their expense reports quick and easy. Everything is directly connected to NetSuite, our ERP, and flows smoothly to the books without any extra steps. Approval routing is very simple and reminders get sent to keep things moving along.
Expensify is a very streamlined tool and does not get bogged down in high degrees of complexity which may be unnecessary. I have found all types of users at my company, from sales execs to marketing coordinators, understand how to use Expensify almost immediately. We provide a 1-pager for best practices to employees and that, in nearly all cases, is enough to get them using the tool without issue.
The corporate card integrations could use a bit of added support when it comes to receipt imports, and occasionally we have had the direct feed from our banking institution break. I think this is likely because we do not use one of the major banks for our corporate credit card though, so the issue may not be on the Expensify side.

Expensify is a homerun all the way around! Very easy to use across multiple platforms. Easily set financial rules and requirements, track expenses and have them routed to the appropriate manager for approvals and payment. Photos, reciepts, mileage and comments are carefully logged into forms that adhere to the report standards of and guidelines outlined by the government. Seemlessly hooks into backend ERP systems for clear review and payment tracking. All at a very low cost of ownership with a high support rate.
