Very positive, and very good value for money compared to other sanctions/AML tools we've used in the past.
From an integration/implementation standpoint, Finscan's documentation was concise and provided all the information needed to quickly start using their test environment.
Certain features that one would expect to be available as standard, such as deletion of names that no longer need to be scanned, need an implementation period of a couple weeks.

We utilize FinScan for our full sanctions screening (Some PEP as well) functionality, which we utilize both domestically and internationally. Additionally, FinScan retains our entire portfolio to allow for full, regular screening, which covers all updates & changes made by all of the various watch lists.
The case management portion is good to use. Sanctions & PEP screening, which utilizes the World-Check database is very thorough, as we're an international organization this is critical.
Reporting needs a lot of work. It has gotten better but need more user options when creating reports.

It meets the expectations of our donors.
Not really user friendly and too technical vocabulary. It makes things hard to understand, you don't know which menu to use instinctively.

We use FinScan for sanctions screening.
FinScan is among the most powerful tools for sanctions screening. I appreciate the settings possibilities to set up a configuration that fit exactly with our expectations.
Other screening solution are more user friendly than FinScan.The processing of alerts could be more clear with a better interface. It lacks a global view on the alerts, you only have a view focused on one alert. Moreover you have to create a query in order to process the alerts, that's not intuitive as you open your tool and have the alerts to be processed /in progress/ processed.

Easy to connect with local IT software, easy to define profils, easy to edit PDF reports and dynamics reports really interesting
1rst parameters to insert complicated, time between requests and results can change and not always optimized.
